What clients say about Caliber Collision in Santa Ana (CA)

I took my vehicle to Caliber Collision because I thought they were a large company and they would do the best job. However, I’m incredibly disappointed at the length of time they took to do the repairs and removed my mudflaps and threw them in the trunk. I don’t have access to lift the car to put the mudflaps back on. Also, the passenger front and rear wheels are making a cracking/popping noise they claim that it is pre-existing, however, none of those noises were present prior to the accident. The mechanic seemed to be upset that I asked for them to look at the vehicle again now the only choice I have is to take the vehicle to the dealership to have it looked over at my expense!

This shop was so great! They worked with my auto insurance and everything was handled so fast and smooth with repairing my damaged car. I really appreciate all their help and time. I would definitely recommend this place.

I took my car for service and they had unplugged my camara and stole and portable charger. I understand they had to unplug the camara for security but why they take my portable charger. Never again. Don't take your car unless you want objects stolen from you.

Thank you to Chris, the manager, who made my experience wonderful. I am writing this review because of him. I had a few issues with my initial repair, but Chris went above and beyond to turn around my experience. I’ll definitely be referring people to go to Chris

Smooth customer experience. All the paperwork was clearly detailed and all the work done on the car was communicated in real time there were no set backs or fuzzy directions. Thanks to all involved

If you have State Farm Insurance, stay away from using this repair facility. The State Farm representative is not very helpful and extremely rude and condescending. I work for a auto accident attorney and will not be sending a single client to this location.

Excellent service. Work was done quickly, ready when indicated and I was kept apprised of the status throughout the process.

It was a great experience because everyone was so attentive to detail. I was informed every step of the way. They are very techy in regards to communication. I was very pleased and surprised my car was done one week before the time estimated. Miguel and Cris were on top of things as well as Martha at reception.

I’m grateful for the exceptional service at Caliber Collision. My USAA insurance referred me, and they did an outstanding job on my Mazda Miata. It looks better than before the bumper was damaged in a hit-and-run.
I had an event I wanted to bring my car to and inquired if it was possible to have my car completed earlier than expected, and miraculously they were able to accommodate my request. I’m truly grateful for that—knowing it’s not always possible. Oscar was friendly and attentive, and the communication was excellent. I’m pleased with the result and the service.Sep 08, 2025 -
So far so good, they are friendly and have great service, just started the process!

Friendly staff, well informed and experts at completing repairs. My vehicle underwent repairs after someone hit my car, they kept things simple for me in a time that was a big hastle. It was nice to know they were taking care of everything, and even returned my rental vehicle which made pickup easy. My car was even ready early, and they made sure any issues or questions I had were all addressed and answered professionally.

I recently had some body repair work done after a minor accident and was overall pleased with the experience.
Miguel communicated clearly from the beginning. They explained the repairs in simple terms, provided an upfront estimate, and kept me informed as the work progressed. I really appreciated the transparency—there were no unexpected costs, and everything was laid out honestly.
Pricing was reasonable, especially compared to other quotes I received. They focused on what actually needed fixing and didn’t try to upsell anything, which I found refreshing.
The repair quality was solid. My car looked significantly better. Everything was completed within the timeframe they gave me.
fair pricing, honest communication, and decent workmanship makes it a place I’d return to if needed.Aug 21, 2025 -
I was rear ended at a stop light and didn't think I had any damage to my truck but wanted it checked just in case.
Miguel at Caliber Collision in Santa Ana was not only friendly, courteous and informative, he explained to us how they look for further damage once they take it apart. He even explained about insurance claims on other damage to my truck, that I didn't know about. My truck came back good as new, better even, because of the lifetime warranty! Miguel even got my truck back to me a day earlier than promised right on my birthday!! I was worried about having my truck repaired at this location as it was not in my home area, but in my parent's hometown. But Caliber Collison in Santa Ana did an excellent job and made it painless and easy. I would highly recommend this location to anyone needing repairs.Jul 30, 2025 -

I came here to see about getting my window regulator repaired after multiple other places blew me off. The gentleman at Caliber was so nice, he recommended a nearby place that specializes in this repair and could it sooner/cheaper. He even called them for me and got a quote. So while I didnt end up using Caliber this time, I would totally come back because they are friendly, honest, and helpful!

My car was broken into at the Santa Ana Transit Center. I was really sad and annoyed that it happened. Once it was cleared with insurance, I drove my 2013 Hyundai Accent to Caliber Collision and they helped me out, even provided a Lyft/Uber back home. They kept me in the loop via text and had the car back when they said it was going to be. This place is not cash-friendly, so take your debit or credit card.

Oscar was great. He kept me up to date and managed all my questions. He was always offering me a ride, even though I was working 2 blocks away. When I stopped by, he took the time to show me my car and discuss the repair. Car looks great and they had it completed 4 days ahead of schedule.

I give this place a 10/10. I was rear-ended and had to take my car somewhere. I have never been to a collision shop prior. They handled everything extremely professionally. My car looked better after, than it did even before the accident, AND they washed/detailed the interior and exterior. Miguel was extremely professional and courteous. I got regular updates on the progress and completion date which was very helpful. I would absolutely suggest bringing your car here.

We have used caliber collision in Santa Ana, California in the past, and that is why we came back with a new claim. Miguel was the person assigned to me, and he was professional, friendly, helpful, involved, and otherwise perfect. The parts needed matched paint, and, when installed on the vehicle, we could not tell the difference. It was as if it was painted at the factory. The process was efficient, and the vehicle was delivered earlier than promised. A courtesy wash, wax, and detailing, at no extra charge, of course, is always appreciated. This is a class act. We highly recommend!

I'm not usually one to write reviews about a business, but after my horrendous experience with this location, and the current state of my car, I feel this review is entirely justified. Several weeks ago, I brought my car in after an accident which left the front of my car quite damaged. My insurance had given me a few options for repair shops, and I chose this place based on many positive reviews praising their timely service. I thought it would be perfect since I was only going to be home in Southern California for about a week.
Upon my first visit, the employee assessed the damage and I explained my situation, emphasizing that I would only be home for a certain period and needed my car back promptly to return to school. He seemed considerate and assured me they would try their best to get it done quickly. This turned out to be the only positive interaction I had with them.
After a day or two, they called to say they had assessed the damages and gave us a repair date a bit over a week out, which was slightly inconvenient but manageable. They called frequently during the first week with updates, but this seemed to be only because my dad was very strict and persistent about getting updates.
As the promised date approached, it became evident that things were not going as planned. I had to visit the shop to retrieve a house key from my car and saw that almost nothing had been done. The front of my car was still in pieces; only the paint had been touched. It looked essentially the same as when I had dropped it off.
When my dad called to get another update, they said the car would take a few more days. Despite our understanding of their busy schedule, it was frustrating. Eventually, my dad called again to confirm the new date, and shockingly, they accused him of lying, saying they never promised that date. My dad had my mom as a witness to the conversation, so this blatant dishonesty was infuriating.
My car was not ready by the new date either. My dad kept calling for updates, and each time there was a new excuse: waiting for parts, mechanics unavailable, etc. It seemed like they only started working on my car when my dad nagged them persistently. It dragged on for over two weeks, and then they claimed the alternator was malfunctioning, which was absurd since my car had driven perfectly fine for six hours from San Francisco to Southern California after the accident. During that drive, I had to turn the car on and off several times for pit stops, and it worked without any issues.
This suspicious claim came three weeks into the ordeal. My dad was so fed up he considered taking legal action due to the constant discrepancies and delays. Miraculously, after this, the car was suddenly "fixed" within a couple of days. However, when we finally got the car back, it was clear the job was subpar. All the warning lights started flickering on, and the car clearly had not been properly fixed. We had to take it to a Honda dealership to get it fixed correctly.
This review is to state that despite our patience and understanding, this location was consistently rude, disrespectful, and dishonest. Their actions were highly suspicious, and their service was abysmal. I trusted the positive reviews, expecting timely and efficient work, but that couldn't be further from the truth. I hope others read this review and avoid this location if they want their car repaired properly and to be treated with respect. My experience was horrendous, and I would never bring any vehicle back to this place. Save yourself the trouble and go elsewhere.Jul 02, 2024 -
As I was sitting at the market place in Tustin, CA, three pieces of wood from a palm tree fell on my car shattering my windshield and hood. The insurance referred me to Caliber Collision in Santa Ana. Miguel and the front desk girl were very kind, listened to my story and were sympathetic. Miguel kept me informed of the progress by text and within a week, my car was done. At my request, and own financial resources, they detailed my entire car. It looks brand new. The windshield is perfect and I am very pleased. I recommend Caliber Collision to anyone who needs repairs on their car.
