I was in a bit of a pickle since my car needed to be serviced on the Friday of 4th of July, and most shops were closed up until the weekend -- I urgently needed my car up-and-running by Monday for a road trip. Naturally, after several phone calls, BC Advance Auto Repair was the only one that picked up.
First and foremost, the service experience is awesome. There's a break room with water, AC, restroom, and Wi-Fi to wait while your car is being serviced. My technician was the owner, Anthony (or Huy), was very detailed-oriented, intelligent, and reassuring with my issue. His Vietnamese and English is also perfect, if that is a concern.
I received an oil change with a highly rounded/stripped oil pan bolt and tire rotation. The pricing was very reasonable, and I was pleased to see that the work was done right. Anthony also explained in detail the work performed, and gave a receipt. Moreover, they also provided me the original bolt and the remaining new oil.
Definitely one of the best auto repair shops in Orange County. Will definitely come again. Come here for honest, reasonable, quality auto repair services!
Really nice car repair shop in Santa Ana. I repaired here my Honda Civic (changing low control arms) the price was $450 for two (labor + parts). I was waiting until my car was repair in nice waiting room with WiFi, coffee, water and TV. The staff is really friendly, mechanics are not talkative but still friendly.
Staff here speak English, Spanish and Vietnamese.
When I came the place was not busy (it was at 3pm).
Here you can also make a smog check for $52. I want to thank them for the work and I definitely recommend this car repair shop in Santa Ana to my friends and other people who need to repair their cars.
The best auto shop service in Orange County, CA, without a doubt. They’ve worked on my 2005 Saab 9-3 and on my 2020 Toyota Tacoma TRD Sport. A great all-around shop that we’re lucky to have in Santa Ana, CA.
Just had my old Honda fixed up at BC Advance Auto Repair and wow they did wonders with the squeaky brakes and threw in a free car wash too felt like I drove out with a brand new ride highly recommend these guys!

My dad usually changes my oil or goes to the auto repair shop to get my oil changed for me. This was the first time I had to go to an auto repair shop by myself, so I was super nervous, but when I arrived, Charlie greeted me with such positivity and kindness! I got my oil changed within 15-20 minutes and they checked my tire pressure too (without me asking/knowing I needed it). Also, the price was very reasonable. I can't thank the staff at BC Advance Auto Repair. My guy Khang inspected my car and found it was just an issue with coolant and misfiring. He sent me on my way free of charge. Definitely coming back, and I'll be recommending friends/family here!

I own a classic car restoration company and I still bring and send all newer cars to Charlie. He is very honest, fair price and quick. Don’t get any better then BC auto repair. Instead on trying to sell me new brake pads he told me to go use my warranty at NO’rielys to save me money. I wish all companies operated this way!

Shame on ME for not writing a review sooner! I have been a customer for 8-9 years and I am so GRATEFUL to be one of their many regular happy customers. I started out seeing Anthony and now I mostly see Charlie and every time I come in for repairs he goes WAY above and beyond with the service he provides on every level. The many reviews speak for themselves so for anybody looking for a great mechanic look nowhere else, and when you come in for your first experience with them you will never need to look for another mechanic again, you will know that you are being well taken care of. A few years back my family was lucky enough to find this shop and we haven’t used another mechanic since. Charlie (And crew) are kind, well informed and very efficient. In June of this year I hired him to do an engine swap on my GTI.. not only did he return the car in five days but after a low compression test beyond the three month warranty he reached out to his source and had the engine replaced at no cost and once again I was on the road in five days. These guys don’t mess around but more importantly they do not cut corners or over charge. Charlie and his guys have always gone above and beyond what I have asked for, if you are looking for a trustworthy shop you found one with BC Auto!
A+++ one of the toughest things to find...Honesty! As important? Knowledge.....professional and expeditious! I've had Lexus and Toyota cars for the last 30 years....my mechanic in NH was a former Toyota mechanic at a dealership.....he is excellent! I even had an Avalon that made it to 500,000 miles B4 I gave it to a friend in great condition....other of my other cars gone over 200,000 miles... And still going.. We started using BC for my girlfriend's Lexus in CA and found BC.... The have impressed me with their knowledge.... And they are so fast while not sacrificing quality work. Communication also A+++++ You won't go wrong here!

Owner Anthony is very honest and a straight shooter. I've been taking my car here for years before he took over the shop. His level of service is second to none. His manager Charles is a great guy as well. They are very detailed on what is wrong with my car and informative on what is needed to fix it and how long it will take. They have a nice waiting room and the bath room is very clean. Car issues can be a headache but the guys at B & C will try to make it as painless as possible.
I’ve been bringing my cars here for a long time. Whether I get just an oil change or any other service they give a fair price. They are honest and do really good work. I recently brought in my car after awhile (because of the good work they do). I was helped right away and didn’t wait much for an oil change. Even wearing a mask (because of covid 19)Charlie remembered my name, that’s some excellent customer service!
My family and I have been coming to B&C for years. Charlie and his guys have become like family to us. He is one of the most honest and professional people I have ever met. They do great work for a fair price and are just good people. When you find a good Doctor and a good mechanic, you keep them for life! Charlie is a lifer! I have been here three times to change oil, get new brakes, and new lights. Charlie has helped me each time and provides top notch customer service. He is transparent and upfront with what service you need, pricing, and letting you know when the service will be completed. I was given the option of OEM or after market parts and was talked through the cost-benefit of each. They definitely try to understand your needs and work with your pricing point.
