Recycling used to be such a pain in the rear. I can’t believe I didn’t discover this sooner. Now that all of the old left overs are gone, I can stay on top of the process. No more waiting in lines and having to unload your own bags only to be told you need to separate even more than what you’ve done. Payment is quick and easy.
I’m recommending this to everybody. It’s a win win.
I came across this recycle service via a Huntington Beach periodical and signed up. I was provided with collection bags and stickers and an explanation. We have numerous tall plastic water containers that are used daily and our Republic trash container was swiftly overflowing. Having the Recycle From Home vehicle show up when called, it has been a godsend and they pay a reasonable amount per filled bags and I didn’t have to stand in line.
As someone who always went to a recycling center to cash in my bottles and cans I no Longer wait in lines . The van comes right to my garage door with a phone call for pick up . This is the best service I have experienced in a long time . Thank you for making it so easy to get my check, so convenient!!!!

Working with Recycle From Home has been extremely easy and a pleasure from start to finish! From scheduling pickups online to having their team come right to my doorstep, the whole process is incredibly convenient — especially compared to loading up the car and driving to a recycling center.
They even provide clear bags and tracking labels, pick up my CA CRV recyclables at my chosen time, and I get paid quickly via Venmo or PayPal — typically within a day.

This is a great concept. Place your bottles in a bag - call them when it's done - they collect and send you money!!! Best is that that bottles do not end up in the landfill - a huge win all around.
This home recycling company offers an excellent service. I highly recommend it for educating children, as it instills a sense of responsibility at home and helps teach them financial literacy in an easy and friendly way, showing them how to generate income, what percentage they can spend, what percentage they should save, and what percentage they should invest. At the same time, it teaches them values like caring for the planet. I love this app.
It doesn't get any easier than this. They give you these big bags to put your cans or bottles or plastics in. When they're full you put a QR sticker on it, schedule a pickup and away they go. Later that day they'll send you the money minus their 10% pick up fee.
My experience after my first pickup today, I was away and left the blue recycle bags on my front driveway. They came and picked them up way earlier than scheduled, I was confused that they said they do not collect PETE plastic that I have lots of protein shakes made of PETE plastic, which I've read is a recycleable plastic. Has anyone else have this issue of them not collecting this particular plastic ? please advise.... Other than that all went very smooth but they had run out of bags so they will be back to drop them off later in the week.
Using this service has been great! Everything this easy and effortless from using the app REALLY EASY, getting the bags sent to use to bag the items and then scheduling the pick up! All without leaving my home! No more car trips to a recycling center and fitting all my full bags in my car.
This service is great for people who are not driving which i'm not doing right now. It's saving me the time, the hassle of driving to the recycling center, the waiting,standing in line, going to Santa Ana.The gas that you use to go to santa ana is the ten percent that they're taking so you're not losing any money. If you have a nice vehicle you don't want to get it sticky with cans and bottles That might be dripping or draining on your. Trunk area or seats. I was also able to get rid of a lot of computer items that nobody wanted and they took them for me.
Great service and super easy. I signed up and received my bags a couple days later. The introductory instructions on the app state the cans/bottles can be "comingled," but a rep I emailed with said they prefer them separated. Oh, and they'll only pay for 25 pounds of each material type (not total). So, you can do 25 lbs plastic, 25 lbs aluminum, etc. Anything over that is a tip for them. So, everything separated (so I knew my material weights) and my bag of glass bottles just under 20 lbs, I stuck the included QR code labels on the bags, used the app to scan them, and scheduled a pickup date. They came and carted the bags away and two days later, I had the money in my PayPal account. Their 10% fee was worth my not having to drag the bags to the recycling center and deal with all that entails. Recycle from Home makes recycling the easiest its been since I was a kid, when we just took our bottles to the grocery store (yeah, I'm old).

The service is awesome! Their pickup van is painted with “Home Recycling”. Quality plastic bags and label are provided. Pickup time is fast with up-to-the-minute communication (via text message). Thank goodness for RFH! They were a lifesaver for our recycling during COVID lockdown and now continue to lighten our burden of dealing with recycling. Very friendly and caring staff. We were impressed from the beginning and will definitely continue with their service.
We just had our first can & bottle pickup this week. This service couldn’t be easier and more convenient. The app is easy to use and I love that they provide the bags. Even better to find out they could take my old TV as Ewaste. I’ve already started spreading the word to family & friends.
Finding redemption centers in Orange County had become a joke. Recycle From Home makes it so simple! Put your bags on the curb and request a pickup and it just disappears! And then money just appears a few days later! There’s a small service fee, but it’s honestly less than what I’d spend on gas trying to find an open center these days.
My first pickup by Recycle From Home was great! The driver was friendly and helpful and they even took some electronic waste at the same time. I received the PayPal settlement the next day and I was pleasantly surprised—some spending cash in return for a minor inconvenience of saving up bottles and cans.
I am using this for a while. They are kind and have a good business model for client. I am not sure if it is really make a money for the company. If you decide to collect the recycle stuff, it is the best and most easy way to do.
I was throwing the refundable recycling in with the recycling that the city takes. However, I drink a lot from containers that have a deposit on them. Now, I toss them in the bags that I am given, when the bag is full I scan a barcode in their app, and schedule a pickup. Then I put the bag by the front door. This is so easy!! No loading up the car and driving to the recycling centre, waiting around, etc. Taking the hour to do that is not worth my time. However, this program is so effortless. Hell, they even give me the pages. I get about $10 bucks for each pickup.
Very happy with their service. Makes recycling several bags of cans and bottles easy. Easy to schedule with their app. The pickup gentleman was on time (early actually). Excellent communications via app and when I contacted them with questions. Pricing is very fair with only a small percentage taken out for their expenses. Quick payment to my paypal account.
