My daughter was recently in an accident and the OPD called Archie's to for a tow. I arrived on scene as the tow truck left with the car and saw the name on the side. If it wasn't for that we would have had a chore figuring out who took it. The driver apparently got the key from the police, never spoke with my daughter, and just left. Then, when I call the next day, I am informed that it was $250 for the tow and $100 per day for storage! My daughter was vulnerable at that time and Archie's should be ashamed of their behavior, taking advantage of someone who was just in an accident! And to top it all off, I was told to go to the Orange location to get the car. I had another tow company show up, I pay the fees and complain about the driver basically stealing my daughter's car, and all I get in response is "they're supposed to tell you." No apology, nothing. To top it all off, I am told to go to an overflow lot! What is wrong with you Archie's? You could have informed me over the phone that the car was at another location.
My truck impounded because the person Using it was on a suspended license. Bad judgemental on my part, but I was lied to. This is the most expensive ridiculous racket there has to be! Don't drink and drive, you'll be sorry more than once if Archie's hooks up your rig.
This place is amazing! They threw away my car key, so no risk for me to drive a salvage car on the street. How thoughtful is that! The front desk lady may look mean, but she is so warmhearted! As I was frustrated with the lost key, she not only comforted me with a sweet lie: “Our driver saw you took it!” She even cheered me up with “It’s just a key, you are making it a big deal”. Right on spot! Why would I need the key if the car is totaled already? It’s really not a big deal for them. They should put on a sign “NOT A BIG DEAL”, next to their current slogan “ABSOLUTELY NO PUBLIC RESTROOM”. Oh, did I mention the business is super Green? Instead of having a door for customers, they lock everyone outside and talk to you across the tiny window. “NO PUBLIC AC” as well! That’s real energy efficiency, all businesses should learn from them and we will have no energy crisis for generations!
I was a little bummed that I had to pay $75 to retrieve a few things out of my Tahoe that was totalled the day before. Didn't realize they charge on the weekends or after hours to get to your car. Huge shout out to Raffi though!! You're the man. I thank you for letting me take a little aggression out, it was definitely therapeutic. He even hooked me up with a few bandaids after the quick therapy session
The owner saved the day and wouldn't even accept a tip. Penske roadside person was obstinate for us and the poor towing company. We need a replacement car carrier asap to finish our move to San Francisco. The poor driver was locked out of the first penske location because they didn't leave a key. Penske rep was verbally abusive to us and the towing company. The owner stopped post vacation and helped us get the car and set everything up, including giving us driving tips as we had the 26-foot Penske, which is a semi. Amazing man, he saved the day and put our minds at ease as we headed for the Grapevine. I can't thank him enough. During an extremely stressful time, he really added comfort and guidance. Thank you, sir!!! May your business proper!!!
The worker used a forklift to move my car and broke the exhaust mount and bent the muffler, all with a attitude. Horrible customer service, long wait times. Lazy and unprofessional service.

There been many tow companies I had get my cars and things was cherry picked...MISSING .. not honest Archies towing...
Their driver just almost hit me while he rolled through a stop sign. He then had the audacity to flip me off and yell at me when I had the right of way with no stop sign. I definitely wouldn't trust them with my vehicle driver was rude and dangerous.
The lady helped me and gave me all the papers that I needed to get me on my way to get in the car registered just want to say thanks to the lady at the desk at Archie's Towing appreciate it I just bought the grey mercedes
Great company even though they told my brother's car my brother was doing something he wasn't supposed to he got his car towed but his car was in great shape he was missing some beers out of the car supposed to be that's what he claims I'm not sure but that's the only thing that was missing everything else was there people were real there though I should be upset they took my brother's car but actually they were pretty cool people they're just people doing their jobs
The guy was great. Only issue was the truck was so big. I had both knees replaced yrs ago and can bend but the very high steps made getting in difficult. What do older people do?
My mom's car was stolen & they had the car for approximately 10 - 15 mins before I came to pick it up, and they still charged me $250!!! That's highway robbery on top of a horrendous experience. Such a scummy operation.
Only problem I had was that it was far from my house, but they helped me sort out my fees and I was able to get the stuff in my truck and insurance picked it up for me.
Yesterday, March 23, 2018 around 8:00 PM I arrived to pick up my towed vehicle. There were two guys and a girl working at that time. The guys were very helpful and kind. The women sitting at the desk was very rude and sassy with me. I did not appreciate her business.
Getting your car towed is by far one of the most expensive and awful things that can happen to anyone. But, her sass just implemented on that awful experience.
The stars here are only for the guys working that shift. The stars lost was her attitude.
This place offered the worst service, the ladies inside were rude and did not want to let me use the restroom. She kept on referring to it as a “Her Restroom” like I get it. Overpriced and if you have an option to go there, don’t go there.
Very, very nice people and great service, sucks if you have to come here due to having your car towed but at least they make the experience as easy and pleasant as possible!
