Back in 2014, during one of the most difficult seasons of my life, my boat broke down and I had nowhere else to turn. What could have been a devastating setback became a moment of grace because of one man—Abe from Larson Shipyard.
Abe did far more than repair my boat. He opened his shipyard to me and allowed me to stay there for a couple of months while the work was being done. In a world where kindness is often rushed or conditional, Abe showed compassion without hesitation. He saw someone in need and chose to help—not because he had to, but because it was the right thing to do.

If you manage your risks, this not the place for you. They don’t take responsibility for their own errors. Fortunately, I didn’t need a review to pull out before they could take my money.
Avoid this place like the plague! The boatyard worker damaged (bent) one of my stanchions that support the deck rails. Spoke with Abe several times about it. He did nothing. Didn't want to talk about it. They did bottom paint. One month later my diver inspected the paint. Large areas are bare. Other areas have already faded, looks like only one thin coat.
Not a good experience, would not recommend. Paid them 10k for meh boat maintenance work, plus repairs for a still not running properly 454 Mercruiser port side motor. Six months waiting for promised work, unable to use the boat. Whatever this yard once was back in the day, it is no longer. Very poor communication. Lots of excuses. Avoid.
