Great experience from start to finish. Aaron, the Client Adviser, has an incredible understanding of client needs and delivers accordingly. He helped me refine my vision for the vehicle I was looking for and never rushed me at any point. He checked in when necessary but also gave me the space to make my own decisions. Aaron was flexible with my schedule and even came in on a day off, which speaks volumes about his dedication and professionalism. The finance team made sure everything was clear, with no extra costs integrated into the final price of the vehicle. They handled much of the paperwork and gave me ample time to ensure I was properly insured before driving off the lot. Abraham did an amazing job explaining the up-to-date technology in the car, guiding me through recommended features that fit my needs. Overall, Sterling is next level. They are truly devoted to producing the highest quality and being a one-stop shop. I highly recommend them to all car enthusiasts who know exactly what they want, as well as beginners exploring the excellent craftsmanship of BMW.

Racist, Deceptive, and Unprofessional - A Horrible Nightmare at Sterling BMW Newport Beach I am writing this review as a warning to anyone considering doing business with Sterling BMW in Newport Beach. My experience with them was not just poor; it was a discriminatory and deceptive nightmare. I brought my car in for standard recall work, expecting professional service. Instead, I was met with incompetence and what I can only describe as blatant racism. The staff treated me with disrespect and disregard from the moment I arrived. The core of this nightmare is a lie they fabricated to avoid completing the work. They arbitrarily claimed my car was "totaled" and had a "salvage title," which is a complete and verifiable falsehood. My car is paid off, and I have the official title from the DMV in my hand that proves there is no salvage brand. When I pleaded with them to show me any proof to support their outrageous claim, they refused. They had no documentation, no report, nothing. They simply used this lie as an excuse to deny me the recall services I am entitled to. I have even escalated this to BMW corporate, who have no record of my vehicle being totaled, further proving that Sterling BMW Newport Beach is acting in bad faith. This company is deceptive, unethical, and operates with a shocking lack of integrity. They will invent falsehoods about you and your property, refuse to provide proof, and treat you horribly when you challenge them. I felt targeted and disbelieved simply because of who I am. Do not trust them with your car or your business. I would give zero stars if I could. Paid $4000 higher the normal market price for a W221 S class, was told that it was the cleanest in the market and that's why they didn't put it on auction or anywhere else. Was worried about the air suspension, called couple of times to make sure the suspension are in good share and was confirmed that all Air suspensions in great shape. Took the car home and days later, all suspension collapsed and drives like a truck. I have been a loyal BMW customer and was considering even taking another BMW homes to replace my 430 convertible. Not sure what I was thinking to have this dealership rip me off without any responsibility and accountability. They told me that general managers said there is nothing they can help. Not sure if it represents BMW's service quality or Sterling's.

Incredible Experience at Sterling BMW – Ask for Justin Dayyat! I’ve leased and purchased several BMWs over the years, and to be honest, the process has always been a bit of a time commitment, typically taking three hours or more, even when I’ve called ahead and tried to streamline everything. That was *not* the case at Sterling BMW in Newport Beach. I originally leased my last car from Crevier BMW in Santa Ana, but after relocating my office to Newport Beach, I decided to return and lease a new BMW from Sterling. I was immediately connected with Justin Dayyat, who made the entire process unbelievably smooth. I told Justin I wanted the same model I had, just in a different color and with a different interior. Within two hours, he checked inventory, confirmed he had what I was looking for, and sent me a better deal than I was already getting from Crevier. I asked for the same terms, same payment, same down payment, simple and straightforward...and he delivered better terms without any back and forth. He emailed me a secure link to check my credit, and once that was complete, he told me I could come in any day that week and be in and out in under 45 minutes. I came in, and no joke, I was done in less than an hour. I returned my old lease, drove off in my new one, and the paperwork with Alex in finance took less than 10 minutes. The entire team was organized, professional, and clearly valued my time. If you’re considering a BMW, whether you’re a first-timer or a repeat customer, I can’t recommend Sterling BMW enough. I’ll absolutely be back for my next lease, and I wouldn’t hesitate to send friends and family here either. Five stars all the way. — Robert Mack

My friend just bought a BMW M2 from here. They told him to finance under them and call to refinance with his bank. They’ve avoided 15+ calls from my friend August. The sales guy working with him just said he quit and it’s shady, and he just called and they hung up on him. This is probably because there’s a limited time to handle this and they get paid more if it’s financed in house. Nightmare dealer

Incredibly easy and enjoyable experience thanks to Gustavo, Brett, and Abraham! First off, this dealership is huge, with an amazing selection and fair pricing. As a first-time car buyer, I was pretty nervous, but Gustavo immediately put me at ease. He took me seriously, answered all my questions, and was kind, professional, and genuinely caring throughout the process. Brett, the finance manager, was fantastic — super helpful and made everything clear and straightforward. And finally, Abraham helped set up my new car and patiently walked me through all the features. I was laughing and having a great time the entire way through. If you’re looking for a BMW, definitely go to Sterling — you’ll be in great hands!

I was scammed when purchasing a new M3. I paid an additional $1000 from msrp for ceramic coating that was never applied to the vehicle. I confirmed with my two different detailers in town. Instead of having them find a shop that does ceramic coating in Vegas, they just sent me a bottle of ceramic and a check of $300 to get it accomplished myself. This job requires a min of $1000 to get the ceramic coating applied. Brennan O’ Donnell sold me the car but blamed me for the swirl marks insisting the ceramic was applied when there was clearly evidence of it not being applied. He also did not include the wheel locks, that I had to purchase separately out of pocket. This was a nightmare finding the right size and then waiting for it when it should’ve been in my trunk. There was also suspose to be a bmw carbon fiber key card, that I also never received. I paid $100k in cash check and have never had an experience like that with multiple issues from the start. The manager James Piper tried to make it right, but from losing $500 from the ceramic to tye missing wheel locks and card key. I’ll spend my $100k somewhere else, next time

I had a bad Monday morning , and I also had a service appointment for my car. When I arrived at the dealership, I was shocked by Farzin's attitude. He asked how I was, quickly checked in my car, introduced me to the service advisor, invited me for coffee, and proved to me that. There are still great people in the world. BY FAR the best experience I’ve ever had. Kudos to Tina and Mike! I have purchased several vehicles out of state in the last few years because I’m very particular about the exact features, colors, etc. of the vehicle. This experience was far and away better than any other. Mike and Tina were very responsive and honest; they coordinated all the logistics and solved all the problems inherent in buying a car in California (sight unseen) and having it shipped to Texas for licensing and registration. No hidden costs whatsoever. Highly recommended!

Super easy process. 80% over text, 20% over phone, then went in and signed with no surprises. Finance asked if I wanted any extended warranties, I said no, and they quickly wrapped it all up. Would recommend for sure. I worked with Donovan throughout the process and he was great.

Sterling BMW and especially their so-called "BMW Genius" have given me the worst service I’ve ever experienced. I leased a BMW iX on September 7th, and they claimed to activate the Electrify America plan. When I went to use it, the charging didn’t work. So, I made an appointment and wasted time driving back to the dealership on September 21st. The BMW Genius was completely clueless—he discovered that the Electrify America contract wasn’t even downloaded to my car and admitted that he had NO idea how to fix it. He promised to call me back on September 24th, but of course, that never happened. I left him a message, and STILL nothing. It’s shocking how little this so-called “Genius” cares about customers. After the sale, it’s like you don’t exist to them. I’ve owned Lexus and Mercedes-Benz, and never have I encountered such complete incompetence and lack of professionalism. If you're thinking of dealing with Sterling BMW or relying on their BMW Genius, don’t waste your time. They don’t follow through, and they definitely don’t respect their customers.

I lost a key fob to a new vehicle that I purchased at Crevier Bmw about a month ago. The parts department quoted me 511.00 for the key fob and the service department quoted another 250.00 for a total of $761.00. I asked them if that was the best they could do and both departments said yes, even though I purchased this 2024 X4 M40 just weeks prior. I couldn’t believe what I was hearing lol. Not even a little bit of a break on the price! Unbelievable! My next call was to STERLING BMW which was the next closest dealership. I spoke to Gerry P in the parts department and what a difference in attitude and price! Gerry quoted a price of $390.00 and explained there’s no need for the service department to get involved because it comes programmed, it only needs to be paired to your vehicle. Key fob comes in, Adan in concierge pairs up the fob to the vehicle in 5 minutes. Thank you Gerry P and Adan for the great customer service! You guys were awesome! If I need any service done Sterling Bmw will definitely be the one. I live in Tustin, 4 miles from Crevier smh lol.

After searching all over Arizona for an X7 M50i with the bench seat we came across this beauty at Sterling BMW! Not only was it. 5k cheaper than any in arizona it hat less miles and more options. Evan our sales person was very courteous and knowledgeable. From picking us up at the airport to making sure my wife was comfortable with the technology he was top notch. Even the GM came down and spent a few minutes chatting. They may be 300 miles from home for me but my next BMW will be from Sterling

Picked up our 4th BMW from Sterling BMW Newport Beach. Thank you Justin Dayyat and Preston Minor for taking great care of me and my family as always! There is no doubt in my mind that there could be an easier, more pleasant car buying experience than the one you could have with Sterling BMW. Custom ordered the last of the 2021 BMW i3s models at the end of July 2021, despite the manufacturer kicking it back. But Justin was able to work his business acumen and knowledge and get it done. Two months later, and a week earlier than expected for the delivery date, I get one of the last BMW i3's in the US market! They could have sold this thing at $5k over sticker if they wanted!! Thank you! Once again grateful for you guys and how far you go to make sure your customers are 100% satisfied. Amazing! I highly recommend Sterling BMW, and if you don't have a Sales Advisor- go see and ask for Justin Dayyat. See you in a couple of year!!

Round Two! We have now purchased two vehicles from Sterling BMW & love them both so much. I’d like to give a shout-out to all parties that have helped us starting with Bentley & Bill, both of these guys were amazing & helped us to locate and decide happily on which cars to come into our family. Adam is my top-notch favorite, he’s on top of everything and does it with an amazing and personal attitude which definitely made us feel like we were part of the little family sterling has & made us both laugh. Last but not least, Andrew. Andrew is amazing at what he does and we appreciate that he’s family oriented and understands the stress of buying a new car and the finances that go into it. He definitely made us feel comfortable purchasing our X6 & M550i. We will be returning customer for quite awhile. All these guys deserve a paid vacation or a raise. I hope management sees this.

This is my go to dealership for everything maintenance or questions related, even if I need a quick tire pressure check they'll take care of me. Tony really helped me out my SOS button malfunction, covered by the warranty so took care of that, they had to shuttle me home (they're contracted with uber). He also took care of my annual maintenance I have the bmw maintenance program but it's only been 6 months since my last tune up. I've definitely had poorer experiences at other dealerships, no issues here. Thanks guys!
