We are a CRV recycling center. We buy Aluminum cans, Plastic bottles, Glass bottles including
Wine bottles and Liquor bottles. We are a Cash recycling center so you're paid cash on the spot. We do NOT accept Cardboard, No electronics, No jars or milk jugs. Only requirement is all your things MUST be presorted before showing up. Meaning cans in one bag plastic in a separate bag and glass in a separate bag from that. I don't normally rate or post reviews about the businesses I visit, but my experience here was so pleasant I find myself here giving a 5-star rating and this review. This is the best recycling center I've ever been to. It's very clean (no funky smells like other places) and the customer service was excellent. Jimmy immediately helped me get my recycling out of my car (which no other recycling place has ever done) and helped me assess my bag of questionable recycling items. He was so professional and friendly and boy oh boy was he hustling. He was so fast that the whole process took less than 5 minutes (and I had 8 huge bags of cans and water bottles)!! I highly recommend this recycling center, Jimmy was awesome! Side note: the sign says they open at 8 AM, but due to some current issues they're opening around 10 AM right now, but they're working on it. I would suggest calling first if you're on a tight morning schedule.
It says the business opens at 8:00 am. But he always arrives at 10 o'clock. I was there today at 9 a.m. and started waiting. He arrived at 10:08 a.m. and started serving the customers who came after me. A good business owner should start by asking who's next. When I told him it was my turn, he became aggressive. I told him that I had been waiting since 9 o'clock and that he couldn't treat me badly because I was defending my rights. He became even more aggressive and told me not to come back. I don't care whether I go there or not. Because I don't prefer to go to the business of someone who doesn't respect the rights of his customers and the work he does.
Lovely place. The owner is always kind and professional. I know I saw reviews about his opening hours but he’s been open every time I went. Maybe those reviews were during Covid when times were difficult. If you worry about the opening hours call the business line, they’ve always answered to let me know if they are open! Also their center is just to the side of the crown valley marketplace (a supermarket) so if you can’t find it call but it’s just to the side of it on the left of the parking lot.
The workers at this location make it a breeze to get in and get out. As you are pulling cans, plastic and glass from your vehicle, they are quickly providing bins to dump into. The man that runs this is so pleasant and kind.
I absolutely love this place! When most of the recycling centers closed I was trying to find a new place and I am so glad I found jimmy! He is so friendly and efficient! I just pull up and every time him and his employees are already helping me with my recycling. He always offers hand sanitizer and a paper towel which is great! I noticed a few comments stating that he’s not there a lot or closed randomly which I’ve only had this issue once. But you have to remember, this is his business and sometimes life happens and he might not have enough employees to cover for him or whatever the case may be. Also I need to add that I’ve seen a lot of older business hours photos and I’m posting the most recent, 11/22/22. So there’s shouldn’t be any confusion.
Super nice guy! my car battery died on me while I was waiting for my turn, needless to say I couldn’t move my car, I caused traffic because the store’s delivery truck came too. He moved my car to the side while reassuring me it was ok since I felt really bad. When my son came with the jumper cable, he took it and jumped my car. Soooo nice!
Good place for recycling and get your money back! Jimmy is so nice, he offers hand sanitizer and paper towel if you want to clean your hands and he speak Spanish as well. The only thing be aware they start to work at 10:30 am so I would recommend to change the schedule here in Google so people don’t get mad :-)
Had to wait for 35 min to get paid... so far six people in line waiting... lots of bees flying around.... not sure wait the deal is. A lady called Jimmy and he said he was on the way. There are two guys working but they can't pay us out. If you don't trust your employees to run your shop maybe its time close up
Update 05/26/22: The sign says it's open from 839-230. I arrived today at 830 and it was closed so I decided to wait,did some shopping and waited some more until I decided to leave at 930 because it was not open so I'll stick to my same review and don't waste your time with a place who does not really want to be a bussiness.
I have tried to bring my recyclables to this location 6 different times during the week at different times and is always closed!! am not sure who runs this place but they never seem to be here.
These Guys are Shady!! They shave off the top BIG time! BEWARE!! They weigh your items without you watching! Give you a price and SHAVE!!Will be reported!!!They shave probably 500 bucks a day EASY!!!
This place states it’s open at 8:30 AM but it never is. I even asked someone from the nearby market when it normally is and they said 11:00 AM. My wife and I have to make multiple trips hoping it’s open. The only reason this place deserves any stars is because when it is open, Jimmy is extremely nice and a pleasure to deal with.
Great customer service!! You normally have to put items in bins to be weighed yourself but when it's not too busy they make every effort to help get you in and out fast!! Just make sure you have your items presorted as their policy and rightfully so! Very nice people!!
It was a fast and easy process. I made my money back for the crv and the folks running it were polite and helpful. I strongly suggest coming here and if we can get this family run business in the places where those recycling centers were that were ripping us off, it would be great for those of us that recycle!
This place is really great. It can get busy. But service is great I've gone about 3 times and so far great people. Especially the ones that renders services very sweet

I am going to start off by saying that who ever owns this place clearly doesn’t care about their customers and only cares about themselves. It clearly says business hours are Monday - Friday 8:30am-3:00pm. I got here this morning 15mins before 8:30am and there was already a couple waiting in line. 8:30am passed and still standing here about to be 10:00am. People have lives and maybe this was the only time they had to sale their recycle. People are living tired of waiting. Clearly waisting everyone’s time. Please change your business hours to the proper time.
Great service! I waited less than 5 minutes. Went there around 2pm. They took care of everything and the guy gave me hand sanitizer after he paid me the money. Also he tipped my baby daughter with $2 and made her day. Definitely coming back!
I was told not to go Mondays or Fridays since the lines are longer, so first time I went here was Tuesday morning around 11 am.
Almost no line, very quick service, paid in cash and we were offered hand sanitizer and a paper towel awesome!
Plan accordingly. It is not a quick drop-off, like in the past. My trip took 25 minutes at 1130am. The staff worked hard to keep the line moving and were helpful. Thank you, Jimmy for the positive experience.
Did not know this place existed until a bunch of others closed down. What a difference! Such a great difference. The staff are incredibly hard working and friendly. Not sure if this is owned by someone or a company, but they all deserve more than I know they are getting paid. This is not an easy job and not always dealing with pleasant people. Thank you for a wonderful experience you make it to recycle.
Jimmy nice but.... Always seems to be closed. I have cans In my truck for 2 months. Sometimes they close when you are in the long line. Nowhere else to go. Seems like this lack of availability would be a good business opportunity for someone.
ALL recycle centers are closed from San Clemente to Irvine so I was pretty shocked when we arrived at 12:15 on a Friday and found a not too unreasonable line. And plenty of chairs in the shade to sit in while you wait for the line to move. I'm currently in a boot and the gentleman from the center came out when he saw me and moved a crate in the line so I could sit down. 1 1/2 hours - but very organized and clean. When we got to weighing and getting our cash, he came out with a paper towel and hand sanitizer. I don't care if the other recyclers reopen - I will never go anywhere else. This was a really nice experience.
All the recycling centers around me are closed so I drove about 10 miles to New Generation Center. It was about 2 pm when I arrived. It was a long line on a sunny day with too little kids but I decided to wait anyway but the last Lady in the line said to me that they will not accept anyone more today. I left and I decided that I will not recycle anymore. I paid for these bottles and cans and I wished if I got my money back.
This is the first time I go from a 1 star review to 5 star review. Well this day when I arrived I was very livid because Google says this place opens at 10am time passed & it didn't open. I was very upset presumably I'm sure you'd be too, but when I received a call from Jimmy & he explained to me that the employee that was supposed to open up didn't show up I understood where he was coming from. He personally drove to this Mission Viejo location on a day he had intended to take off from the Huntington Beach area to open up. Not only was he courteous, but he also made sure that I was well compensated for my recycling. Thanks Jimmy.
