I had a very disappointing experience at Kinnessys shop. I brought in my Mercedes for a door lock issue, and after keeping my car for 24 hours, they were still unable to diagnose the problem. I was told the part I provided was not correct, but when I took the same part to another shop, they were able to repair it without any issue.
On top of that, my driver's side window, which worked fine before, was damaged during their work and now struggles to go up and down. This shows a serious lack of care and knowledge when handling German vehicles.
While their prices may seem attractive, the quality of work is not there. I would caution anyone with a German car to avoid this shop, you risk leaving with more problems than you came in with!
Edgar’d and the team at Kinnessys are absolute legends. Super honest, reliable, and just solid mechanics all around. They don’t try to upsell you on stuff you don’t need, and they always get the job done right and on time. They also take the time to explain everything. I’ve brought a few different cars here now and they’ve never let me down. Super nice guys too. If you’re looking for a place you can actually trust, this is it.

I've been going to Kinnessys for about 5 years now. My car is a 2018...& the ONLY reason I keep it is because I trust the owner Edgar'd and Mark to work on it. I could buy a new one..but they keep this car well maintained. They are honest and this is not a cheap car to get annual service at dealership! They always give a fair price for their services. & I am picky!

Took my car in for a quote, was told I’d hear back that day…3 weeks later no word. Looks like they don’t need business too bad I guess. Even called a week and a half or 2 later to check up, was told I would get a call by the end of the day, and that never happened either. Huge waste of time to take time out of my work day to go to a shop thinking my car is going to get fixed and never hearing anything. Looks like I’ll now have to take more time of work to find a reliable shop.
EDIT 2 years later. Totally forgot I ever tried to use this joke of a shop before, called in to get a quote for my mothers car for all new brakes, air filters, etc, around a $1000 job and got NO ANSWER. Called around 6 times in one day and not one person ever answered. THIS PLACE IS A J O K E!!!!!!
Edgard and the team at Kinneseys has been great to work with. They are friendly, talented, and responsive. They are a great value. I've trusted them with my Porsche several times this year for a few unique issues and had a great experience every time. I look forward to working with them in the future!
It's hard to fine a excellent and trustable mechanic shop but I finally did it. Found this place online and decided to try it based on the reviews and I am so happy that I did! Edgard and his team at Kinnessys did a great job in my Rav4. Definitely I would take my car again, Edgar is a very knowledgeable guy and explained me everything they needed to do with my car. They were quick in efficient with finding the issue with my car, getting the parts, and installing them. VERY reasonably priced and a great quality job! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place to anyone. One of the best places in SoCal.
It’s funny I tried some other mechanic and they were no good . Didn’t have the time to go to Kinnessys . But after what I experienced I made the time the next day because Edgard and team had my truck for 6 days and now it’s running perfect . Couldn’t be more blessed knowing he’s around to take care of my truck . So with that being said thanks to Edgard and team I’m back at my job making money ! Much appreciated Sir!

I unfortunately had to install an interlock device on my new truck and the company I had previously been going to could not perform the installation. I was referred to Edgard and his team at Kinnessys and I cannot recommend them enough
Edgard did some research for me and found the template for the install. Working with him was very great and he worked with me and my hectic work schedule. Each visit was quick and easy, and a lot of the time I was able to reach out to him and visit same day if I would not be able to make my scheduled appointment.
I can’t stress enough how much I was accommodated and taken care of. Now the device has been removed (took about 20 minutes) but I plan on visiting them again for other maitenence I need in the future

I needed to get my car fixed before I take it on a road trip, this place was recommended by my buddy Caleb, and they did not disappoint. They're the best priced to repair shop in the area, and they did a great job. They fixed my brakes my rear rotor shafts, and changed my oil for $400. I will definitely go back to this place next time I need maintenance on my car

Kinnessys Edgar’d Entrala installed a Cat Security Shield on our daughter’s Toyota Prius Plug-in to help protect her catalytic converter. Several have been stolen throughout Southern California, many locally. Service was quick, friendly, efficient and reasonably priced. Shop was very clean and professional. My fiancé and I just bought a home and moved here several months ago. Being unfamiliar with the area, neither of us knew a good local mechanic. Our neighbor, who has lived here for over a decade, highly recommended Mark at Kinnesseys.
Mark and Edgar’d were both polite and professional. I explained the nostalgic value of my vehicle (a nearly 20 year old pick up truck I inhered from my grandfather when he passed away) and they assured me it was in good hands.
These gentlemen did a tremendous job making short work of a number of issues: they fixed/replaced the A/C compressor, condenser, fan blade, serpentine belt, air filter, pulley, windshield, and window regulator/motor in no time.
I appreciate the quality of their service and the timely manner it was performed in.

Back in May, after 8 months with AAA's defective battery, (which had issues from day 1 and 100% failed during COVID shutdown) i found myself with a battery that couldn't hold charge for a full 24 hours, and places to go that day. Rather than waiting and waiting (and waiting) for AAA, I just grabbed a cart and headed over to the shop, which is only a mile away.
When I walked in, Edgar'd took a break from lunch, and within minutes I had a top-of-the-line battery to replace this one and even a ride home from one of the guys to save time...

Highly recommend this place! I recently brought my Volkswagen Golf TSI Wolfsburg Edition car to this place to get some headlights. And I loved what they did to my car because it looks so badass and so nice! Mark and Edgar are so professional and nice people. They will tell you if you need to replace a car part and if not they will not take your money away. And that is important especially if people don’t know about cars. I would recommend this place to my friends. Very professional atmosphere.
WOW! I was so impressed with the professionalism, knowledge and trustworthiness of this business. The office area was clean and comfortable. Although I was there for what I thought was going to be an unpleasant process, Edgar’d made everything about the process pleasant and helped me with any questions I had. I was able to contact him a couple hours later with a wue and he quickly responded. This business is now marked as a favorite and in my phone contacts. I HIGHLY recommend this business and I will continue to use them for any auto issues/wants from here on out.

If I could give 6/5 stars, I would. I have a 1970 VW Beetle and like any classic car owner, we’re particular in who does work on these types of cars. They need special attention and a different type of care. I’m young and don’t know as much as experiences Beetle owners. I took my bug to 2 other shops and they told me two different things. One shop told me it was something that I had just replaced, bogus. I took it to Kinnessys one morning and I got a call that afternoon. They diagnosed it and explained to me the mechanics of what a few small parts do that help the rest of the engine function, in detail. They replaced the parts that only needed to be replaced in a timely manner, as well as tighten up bolts, replaced old hidden bolts, even changed gaskets for me, and gave it back running better than it ever has, and I’ve had it for two years. Edgar did an excellent job and that’s what made me want to write this review. Would absolutely recommend anyone to Kinnessys.

I got new tires and struts and black leather upholstery on three different occasions with Kinnessys and had excellent customer care and best price I could find for my 2017 Volvo XC 90 and 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee. I’d recommend my friends and family here for any mechanical needs.
I starting going here when it was Rossi Auto, they were really honest and good mechanics, and the new owner is just as good! I've been taking both my vehicles here for years and they are good about getting to the root of the problem to make sure you're driving safe. They guide you through what needs to happen without pressure.
Anyone looking for a great, reliable and honest mechanic? Rossi Auto Repair is the place to go. I had a squealing right front tire and figured it was the brake pads wearing. Edgar, the owner, confirmed it was the front pads and rotors. Quoted me a very good price and said he would have the parts next day. Next day, no hassles and 1.5 hours later, th job was completed and what he quoted the previous day was spot on. I had called around to a few shops and dealerships and all were anywhere from $100-$200 than what Edgar repaired it for. Will be definitely coming back for all future auto repairs. Family run auto repair with integrity.
I was introduced to Rossi Auto Repair about two years ago. I bring all my cars here now. They are honest, fair, and proactive and recommending only what needs to be done to prevent problems down the road. I never feel like I’m being up sold. They are competent, friendly, and much better priced than the auto dealers. Every person I referred to Rossi auto repair has been super happy with them. I’m sure you will be too.
