It was a great experience the price was less than I expected and the paint job was great. I had a red truck and they painted it a red with metal flake in it. Everyone says it is a great color and great job.
I’m driving a Toyota Camry with 100k miles on it and plan to keep driving it until 200k+ miles? To celebrate 100k miles I decided to have Macco do some much needed body work and complete exterior paint job. Why Macco? I received quotes from their competitors and found that Macco by far had the best value. They also have the best overall service. It took about a week to complete the job. I’m really happy with the results. I recommend Macco Mission Viejo.
I took my Infiniti q50 here to get my front bumper repainted and paint matched as well as a chrome delete. I left the car there for 3 days and when he gave it back and said it was ready I went and looked at it and at first glance it seemed fine so I payed and went home but after further inspection the job was less then mediocre. Front bumper was very noticeably not the same color as the rest of the car and had big paint chips on the bottom of the bumper that were not there when I dropped it off. The black paint they used for the chrome delete was over sprayed in every spot they used it. I took it back and they said they would fix all of it free of charge so I left it for another 3 days came back after it was supposedly ready and the black looked much better and most of the overspray was gone, but the front bumper was still not paint matched and had paint peeling on the bottom already which was also not there when I left them the car. I took it back again and asked for either a refund or for them to do it right this time in which they responded saying they would not do any refund but would take it back again. They said though that there was no way to paint match the car and accused me of having different color fenders then the stock fenders that come with the car to try and make a excuse as to why they couldn’t paint match it. My fenders are very clearly the same color as the rest of the car and are stock from factory never touched. I decided in the end to not take my car back there because I don’t feel that they would ever do it right. Overall, huge waste of money and time. Owner of the shop also is very rude and discriminative towards me because of my age. DON’T BRING YOUR CAR HERE IT IS A WASTE OF YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY.
My 2003 Chevy Silverado was in bad shape. Peeling paint and rust. Macco made it look great again! I've got so many positive comments and I couldn't be happier with the outcome. Thank you, Patrick! Awesome work!
I took my 2014 Mini Countrymen in to Maaco, Lake Forest to have it painted because the factory clear coat had pealed significantly on the hood and right side of the car. They painted the entire car (except for the roof) with the original metallic dark green color. The job they did was exceptional. They also polished the headlight lens without being asked. I could not be more pleased. I would recommend Maaco, Lake Forest to anyone who is looking to have their car painted.
This Maaco location in Lake Forest did a fantastic job in painting our car! Jennifer is wonderful to work with and I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again for future auto body work and painting. I love the customer service and end result.
On another note, every time I was in the garage/office, I had other returning customers who expressed their opinion about this location. The comments were extremely positive, complimentary and some expressed the fact that they had used this location multiple times!
Maaco, I had several bids around town to paint the roof of my 2018 TACOMA. I was extremely satisfied with MAACO'S TEAM. The price was the best and the workmanship was OUTSTANDING. More then happy. I urge you to get several estimates then get it done right... MAACO IS THE BEST!
THE WORST. The lower price in no way justifies the long delay and excuses, and the paint job that looks good at first but doesn't last long. Extremely poor work product. I'm actually embarrassed for them. Sad.
Clear coat was peeling and wanted too get it redone. They got it done and it came out better than expected. Lived the way it came out. Patrick kept me updated on the whole process.
My paint and body work was done exceptionally well. My car looks brand new. It’s the owner’s attention given to every job done at his locations that makes a difference. Highly recommend.
Patrick and his team did an awesome job on my truck. Took them a while, but they had a lot to do as it was a beater before. Recommend these guys for an awesome paint job.
They do good work at reasonable prices. They are very helpful. They aren't great on time estimates. It will almost definitely take longer than the estimate. It took longer than my estimate, but that was partly because they repaired more than was on the estimate at no extra charge.
I had my 2013 Infiniti G-37 painted at MAACO and it looks great. I had the vehicle changed from Perl white to metallic black including all the jams. MAACO also smoothed out all the chips, dings and they restored my headlamps. I am completely satisfied with the finished product. If you don’t want to spend the money on a new car then just bring your current vehicle and make it look new.
My experience at maaco was beyond fantastic I'm so satisfied. At the onset I was given some options and the processes were clearly explained to me and I was shown an example of their work. It was easy to make a decision and the price was very good.
2000 jeep wrangler. Paint on hood burned off about 15 years ago. Was so bad, forgot that it had been metal flake. New paint looks great. Didn’t want to put color faded plastic fender flairs back on. Bought new after market from quadradec for $199. So happy with Macco.
I took my 2004 Cadillac Escalade in to have it repainted in 2021. The paint had all oxidized. I also gave them some new emblems to put on my truck and a front bumper. Everything turned out great. They even touched up couple things that I forgot about. My truck looked beautiful! I got so many compliments! The paint had a 4-year warranty. I noticed a couple months ago that the clear coat on the hood and roof was dull. It sits out in the sun everyday. I took it back in and Patrick fixed it for me and gave me a great deal. You know like most warranties, it drops 25% every year. So they covered 25%. My husband took his 95' Dodge Ram truck in to have it painted too. He is very happy with the job they did. I would definitely recommend Maaco to anyone that's looking to repaint their car or truck. Ask for Patrick!

First off shout out to Louie super friendly and helpful walking me through the process. They absolutely killed it with the paint which I had done 3 months ago in February. The paint has held up well so far and has been through a track day and daily driving. The only complaint I had is they didn't paint the door handles or license plate housing which comes stock from factory. So I would be really descriptive with what you want. Will probably be coming back if they paint individual parts!!
Finished job on my truck looks great. Some concerns though... 1. Paint is much darker than it should be. 2. Someone broke my tailgate handle and tried to cover it up by gluing it (badly). 3. Job time estimate was 7 to 10 days: it took 16 days. Other than that, I'm pleased with how it turned out.
I am getting two vehicles painted. A 2003 Audi A4 and a 2002 Toyota Tacoma pre-runner. Waiting for the Audi but the Toyota came out very sweet! They matched the paint very close to the original. The paint job came out very beautiful, smooth and classy! Patrick at Lakeforest California location worked with me and coordinated the project. Great service!!!
They do great insurance work, but they paint classics too. Fantastic work on my Mustang, but unlike insurance work they missed deadline after deadline that they set. But I still highly recommend them. You just have to be patient on a classic. They did my Chrysler in 2 days and it came out awesome.
