Awful service. One of our tail lights was out and we needed a replacement. They pushed us into buying bulb grease and when I asked if they could help install the bulb, they said we can Google it ourselves

I went in to ask about my battery, The Lady who helped me out was so kind here name is Holly. She took a look at my car noticed I needed something and was a big help!! I definetley would ask her for help again.

I never leave reviews for stores, but I really appreciated the help and attention to detail that Antony T gave me. I went in for an OBD scan, and he took the time to show me the most likely parts needed for the error code. He also gave me a few recommendations on what to do before taking it to a shop. He was very knowledgeable and kind.

I came in for assistance getting an OBD reading, but unfortunately the scanner was missing, according the employee. Super nice employee, and I understand that it happens. Hopefully it is replaced soon for others to be able to use it. It's an appreciated service.
I also wanted to comment on an interaction I witnessed with a customer who who came in and purchased windshield wipers and seemed to demand that the reps or Jose (manager) install them for her. She was very mean and demanding. The employees politely expressed that there was a long line and they could help her install them after they help get the line assisted and she seemed to go full "Karen", demanding to speak to their corporate and getting the numbers from the store door. I wanted to comment on this to.cancel out her negative review if she leaves one. The staff were kind, friendly, professional, reasonable, and I feel they handled things perfectly. When she demanded a refund and gave rude remarks toward Jose, he handled it with patience and grace. Huge kudos to him for handling it well, and just thought I would share that my first impression of your location is that you have excellent staff and they are more patient than most.

I went in to this AutoZone because I needed new hubcaps. I stopped at a red light and my hubcap popped off and went rolling by my car, so very embarrassing. I went to this AutoZone searching for some hubcaps and having some questions about them a very nice young man help me I guess that he's pretty new to working there according to what he said but he did an outstanding job offering the excellent customer service. And I bought new hubcaps and they changed the whole look of my car I love them! I need a few other things like new mats for my car Etc and the only place I'll go is AutoZone!

Walked up to the registers to be checked. Four employees standing around but no one helping. One finally decided to wait on someone else. The other three employees looked at me. I waited for a while, then set the products down and left. I can get what I need with much less hassle on Amazon.

I visited a week ago for a battery problem and my battery was just out of warranty from the last purchase. Michael, the parts manager, was extremely helpful and very good to work with. We tried the other AutoZone in Mission Viejo, and they were quite rude. But Michael here in Lake Forest took care of us so I’m giving him a big thumbs up review.

I had such a positive experience thanks to Michael. From the moment I walked in, he was extremely customer-friendly, approachable, and attentive to my needs. He helped me with a battery issue and took the time to explain what was going on, showing a level of knowledge and professionalism that immediately put me at ease.

I needed to replace my windshield wiper blades, so I stopped here.
I picked them out, and came to the front to purchase, but there were no employees to be found for 3-4 minutes. One finally returned from whatever he was doing and helped me, apologized for the wait, and offered to install the blades for me.Sep 21, 2025 -
Got my car battery replaced on my 2016 Jeep Compass. I didn’t realize they actually install it for you, so that was a pleasant surprise . As someone who isn’t very car savvy, I definitely appreciated that!

Beware of this low level shady location. Jose said “I don’t have the time” to answer a single question about buying a product. When I offer to spend thousands of dollars at his store if he answer a single question about a battery I was going to buy he yet again said “I don’t have the time” Beware of Jose!

I had a fantastic experience at AutoZone thanks to Holly. She was incredibly helpful in addressing my car issues. Holly ran the onboard diagnostic test and explained all the potential problems related to my ongoing repair troubles. After visiting the repair shop four times, I was frustrated, but Holly's guidance gave me a clear understanding of what needed to be fixed for smog compliance. Was on a road trip this was nearest autozone to me, Holly Olson help me tremendously as I did not have any tools with me. Greated by Emilio and Manny as I walked in the door. Would recommend this location as I felt acknowledged and treated kindly.

**Pure Customer Service Review**
Never experienced such rudeness from any place of business especially one around customer service.
Came into the store on 7/1/2025 in the evening. I tried to look for what I needed, but couldn't find it. Went up to the counter, saw an employee standing. I kindly said, "Hi, are you able to help me?"
Rude Employee(Anthony) goes, "What."
I was already taken back by that. I assumed it was a one off response. I continued to ask, "I just need help looking for this".(showed him the connectors)
In an annoyed tone he said, "If we have it would be down the aisle - pointing at the aisle I walked from. DID YOU LOOK."
Very taken back now by how rude and unhelpful he was.
"If I was able to find it would I be asking for help?"
He lets out a sigh out of annoyance and attitude of how dare I ask him for help.
Luckily as soon as he did that, the Asst Manager Manuel just stepped up to the counter. So, I quickly got his attention and asked if he could help me instead. He jumped right in and was happy to help. He deserves 5 stars, but this skinny Anthony kid with the facial hair shouldn't be working anywhere that interacts with people.Jul 04, 2025 -

I had a great experience at AutoZone yesterday! The team members and the manager were incredibly kind and helpful. They took about 30 minutes to carefully help me solve the issue with my vehicle and made sure I understood exactly what was going on and how to fix it. Their attention to detail and willingness to go above and beyond really stood out. Amazing customer service. I called needing a new battery after mine died on Easter. Michael told me to come on by and even helped me install it. Extremely kind and went above and beyond. Once I drove off my car I was shaking while idling so I drove back and Michael came out and looked at it for me and told me to head over to the Pepboys near by to have it checked. Ended up being fine, but he totally saved my Easter Sunday! So appreciative and will definitely be going back! Thank you again Michael!!

I recently visited this AutoZone and had a very frustrating experience. I ran a diagnostic on my vehicle, but unfortunately, no one at the store was able to explain the results to me in a way that made sense. The gentleman who was helping me was new and couldn’t clarify what was wrong, so I turned to James for assistance. However, James seemed agitated when I asked for help, repeatedly telling me he needed to finish his deliveries, as if my time as a customer didn’t matter at all. It was incredibly disappointing, especially since I was in the area for a road trip and needed some reliable advice. In the end, I left feeling unsatisfied and took my business elsewhere. I expected better service, especially from a company that claims to have expert advice. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning to this location.

I called and then drove to the closest AutoZone store near my home for my complementary battery checkup.
Their people were nice and were willing to help, but unfortunately, the store would not allow them to test the 12 V battery on a hybrid vehicle. Therefore, it was a waste of the trip.Mar 09, 2025 -
I had an excellent experience at this AutoZone yesterday! Michael was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to assist me with replacing my car battery. He not only installed the new battery quickly but also took the time to point out some issues with my brakes, which was very thoughtful of him. Had my engine light go on and stopped at this Auto Zone. Anthony was nice enough to answer the phone and invite me in to take a look and scan the car for a diagnosis. Once arrived, he went above and beyond to not only identify but educate me on what parts I needed, what they do, how common of an issue, and so on. You can really tell he is passionate about cars and I felt much more at ease after. Thanks Anthony! Good job Auto Zone & hiring manager. Happy holidays!

This store #2888 in Lake Forest deserves more credit Then they have been receiving. Unfortunately, a lot of customers don’t realize that the City put limits on the services at this store can and cannot do. But anything that the city allows them to do they do an astounding job. Sincerely, they try their best and are very genuine. Particularly Michael W - I am not a frequent customer, but when I do come, Inhi and his entire staff try to help me as best as possible. They do everything that they can within the city limits. They are friendly, kind, and helpful. What more could I ask for as a customer? Thank you Lake Forest store. I really appreciate you all Joy P

i’m visiting from Utah, and I absolutely hate going into auto parts stores. Fernando was so kind and helpful! He greeted me as i was walking into the store and helped me when checking out. He really seemed like he loves his job and who he works with. I could tell Fernando loves customer service and puts his customers first always! He is the kind of employee i would want to work with and also that i would want to represent my company. I am just so impressed. Fernando deserves a raise and a promotion!!
