Customer transport to and from my home is greatly appreciated. Would highly recommend them to others in need of excellent service for their vehicle(s).
They did fantastic service on my emission control system. The "check engine" light was on and prevented me from getting a SMOG Certificate. They diagnosed the problem, gave me a full written report, gave me a detailed quote, and did the work they proposed for the price they quoted. SMOG check: Done. Registration: Renewed. Their front office man, Byron, was great. Even the drivers who took me to and from the shop were professional and pleasant.
I am very happy with the services they offer. They are very experienced, reliable and honest people. I would recommend this repair shop to anyone who needs a vehicle service.
Foothill Auto Service center did a fantastic job and diagnosing my problem with my vehicle with air suspension system not kind of looking for other possible things that could go wrong. Love these guys! I took my car and asked if they do smog checks, which they don't do on site. They said they could take it and get it done, which they did.
Started using Foothill Auto Service last year on a recommendation from a friend. I've had my MB 350ML in for radiator replacement/standard service and tires....Byron has always provided a full explanation of the service and cost. This last visit I had new tires/front end alignment etc....as well as routine service. All the work is 1st class at a fair price, and they have provided transportation to and from my home as well as dropping off my car to my home when the work was completed. I would recommend Foothill Auto Service to anyone looking for professional outstanding service.
A group of professional, helpful, and genuine people. From the moment you drop off your car through the call to come pick it up, you're given plenty of information, updates, and (if you want) advice on what should be handled first. They can also shuttle you to and from the shop! The team did a fantastic job with my 2015 Corolla and gave me a full Vehicle Inspection Report so I know what to focus on next visit.
Foothill Auto Service genuinely cares and understands the value of transparency with their customers. Another shop told me told how urgent it is to handle particular services right away, only to be shown by Foothill Auto Service how that's not the case at all and clarifying some misinformation given to me. I understand the purpose of a business is to sell more services and repairs, but lying about an urgency just to get more sales is disheartening when you want shops you can rely on and continue to work with. I'm thankful I found the Foothill team. I can trust them completely with my vehicle and know it and I are in good hands.

I don't recall the gentleman who gave me a ride in the shuttle, but he was great company and taught me a lot of the history of Lake Forest. Makes the drives to and from real quick when you're having such an engaging conversation.

A few months ago the gas in my Honda Civic stopped working. I never had that issue before, read about it, went to different car repair shops for prices, etc…Foothill Auto was the only place that took the time to explain the issue and the repair process. I left the car, was driven home and picked up when car was done. Car works fine and I was impressed with the pricing, but more with the patience and courtesy. Fast forward to this week. Car displayed B1 maintenance which meant oil service, tire rotation, brake check and many other. I didn’t need to search auto shops again. I took it to Foothill Auto. As usual the repair was done as indicated, again ride back and pickup were done, and again i was impressed with their courtesy and customer service which exceeds any other business i dealt with before. I gave them 5 stars and they deserve each of those stars. If your car needs repair, don’t hesitate and take it to Foothill Auto.
A warning message came on my dash and my car was acting strangely. Byron made an appointment for me to come in the next morning. Fearing the worst I brought lots of projects to occupy my time. Fortunately it was the battery (still under warranty) so I left within an hour and there was no charge even for the labor. Great customer service. Thanks.

For issues, they will offer an affordable option and if none exist, they will provide some options for fixing it, ranging from new to used part replacements.

Very honest and skilled group. My issue was a complicated electrical issue and they kept at it until the issue was solved. I would not hesitate to bring my vehicle in if I developed any issues in the future. I really appreciated the courtesy transportation. They went above and beyond to see that my needs were taking care of.
I came in towards closing hours on Friday because my right mirror needed to be fixed (backed up in the garage too fast oops). I really needed it to be fixed because I needed my car. My husband and I walked in and we were greeted by Byron so friendly. He took a look and was willing to give it a shot, not knowing how long it would take. After just 30 minutes, Byron came back with the car with the mirror perfectly fixed! Not only that, his team also removed some other scratches on my car that had been there for a while. If this isn’t above and beyond service, I don’t know what is. Byron is absolutely the best and I’m so grateful. My husband and I recently moved to the area and found this place on a whim but we are now certain that we will be exclusively coming here in the future. I was really impressed with the professional approach they took with me for my problem. They were able to diagnosis the problem that two prior mechanics could not fix. I have a Ford transit 250 Diesel and they fixed the problem. I would recommend them for your next maintenance.
We took my daughters' Subaru Forester to Foothill to have the air conditioning repaired. Mark led us through the process and kept us informed of the needed repairs and cost. He answered all of our questions. and they were able to complete the repair in one day. The office and shop is extremely clean, and we were treated with the utmost professionalism.
