After getting several quotes from different places with prices that felt outrageous, I came to Fix it Auto in Lake Forest and immediately felt the difference. One of the owners (Travis) was very personable and a straight shooter, no BS about what actually needed to be done. The quote wasn't suspiciously cheap, but it was fair, reasonable and felt appropriate for the repair. He was honest and upfront. The turn around time was fast. Drop off in the morning and ready by end of day!
The front desk staff was friendly, and the rest of the team was just as nice. The environment felt comfortable and professional, not like a place trying to make a quick buck. This review is for the estimate process only. I contacted several auto body shops in Irvine and Lake Forest, and Fix Auto Lake Forest was the quickest to respond and the most helpful. They suggested the scratches might be polished out and even smoothed them out on the spot at no cost. Although the full repair was above my budget, I really appreciated their honesty and outstanding customer service. Highly recommend Fix Auto Lake Forest for auto body work.

I was able to get an appointment with Fix Auto Lake Forest within two days to inspect damages on my Tesla. Gil and everyone at the auto shop were very friendly, courteous and professional. I brought my Tesla here after an accident because I needed a certified body shop that could handle it. I was a bit worried at first, but they made it look like a brand-new car. Everything works perfectly, including the cameras and sensors, even though they had to replace the bumper and rear door completely. What impressed me the most was the speed — I dropped it off on Wednesday and picked it up on Friday. Unbelievably fast and excellent work!

Woke up to find an accent door panel out of place on my RAV4. Try as I might, I could not get the panel realigned. Read some solid reviews about Fix Auto and decided to bring it in for an estimate.
Dropped by as a walk-in during their lunch break. Travis was heading the office. I walked him over to the car to show him the issue. He walked me back to the office and told me to relax in the AC while he sees what he can do. This guy walked back to my car, checked it out for 2 to 3 minutes, walked to the shop to grab a tool, and walked back to the car. No more than 3 minutes later, he comes back to the office and says I'm all good to go.
Travis was so darn kind and professional... A genuinely good human being. He made my day, and I hope I can pay him back by referring as many people as I can to his shop.

The front under carriage and the driver side wheel under carriage of the Tesla model Y needed to be replaced as they were ripped off . After a very stressful experience with Tesla collision center, I came across Fix Auto and met Travis, the GM. The nicest guy ever. He went out of his way to save us money. He told to buy parts directly from Tesla , which saved us 30%, and he only charged 2 hours of labor to do work. And he didn’t charge for a few other things. His goal was to fix the car at the lowest cost possible and with no stress. I highly recommend Fix Auto in LF and Travis is thorough, detailed and honest. Thank you!

My Camaro’s rear got hit/punctured and they got it fixed in a couple days. Super fast turn around, very easy process. Called and dropped off in the same day. They were great at working with my insurance. Communication was professional. Gil was awesome and I felt well taken care of. Shout out to Julie and Travis as well. Would highly recommend. They were great about getting me to the enterprise down the street for my rental.
I had a disappointing — and frankly unsettling — experience with this shop. Here’s a simple breakdown of what happened:
1. They provided an estimate for repairs to my Toyota Highlander, which was submitted to my insurance company.
2. The estimate was approved by the insurer. So far, so good.
3. When I followed up with Gil to schedule the repair and confirm parts ordering, the cost had unexpectedly increased by $177 — with no explanation.
4. I sent a polite and direct email asking why the estimate had increased. The only response I received was: “Let’s worry about that $177 later."
5. RED FLAG. I followed up again, asking for confirmation that any charges above the approved estimate would be covered by insurance and not require out-of-pocket payment. (See attached photo)
6. I received no reply to this email — not even an acknowledgment.
I don’t leave negative reviews lightly, but being stonewalled like this — especially when dealing with a costly and time-sensitive repair — raises serious concerns about the shop’s professionalism and transparency. Silence like this might be common on social media or Tinder, but it’s unacceptable in a customer-facing business managing high-value work.

Great service. Received a quote the same day just by sending a picture. I had a bumper replaced on my Mercedes and they did a great job. Efficient and professional. Price wise they were actually cheaper then some other quotes I got.
Absolutely incredible service and work. My car was treated with the same care I give it and was repaired quick with the best quality. Cannot recommend more especially for a BMW M car that has extra gimmicks and parts. They know what they’re doing. 5 stars and recommending to my BMW group.
