Sry place and people. Put my number on a scam list after we didn't agree on a deal. I asked If they could confim how many miles did the transmission have. They couldn't do that. Said I was asking too many questions and being a headache to them. They didn't want to sell me the part i needed. Just said if I wanted the part or not. Bad people skills at the front lines. Would not recommend
Purchased a transmission from this company in April of 2025. After installation, determined the transmission had issues, was never able to get this to learn the shift patterns after many attempts. Contacted the company about exchanging for another. Said the best they can do is knock some money off the price of another and that I should have bought an extended warranty.
Absolute worst company with mostly incompetent front-line employees. They've so far refused to provide an invoice for my insurance company and then they took to playing games when pressed for one. Ben in their parts dept., was the most sincere in trying to be helpful as he at least made an initial attempt to get me an invoice from the corporate office. After a week, I called back to get an update and he provided the same answer as the week before which was that the corporate office would eventually send me something if they can find it. He then transferred me to a group of unhelpful people who thought it was funny to disrespect a paying customer. After calling back several more times, they hung up on me while pretending it was a mistake, or they sent me to voicemails that we're not set up, and one of them tried to make fun of me over the phone by doing an imitation of me in a girly voice making my request; something they'd never do to my face. I would recommend doing your business elsewhere.
Recommend these guys for anything. They've helped me several times but this time I had to leave a review. I bought a Sienna Transmission for my family van and it worked great. Thank you so much guys!

Ordered engine from these guys, they told me, that I ordered transmission like idiot, spoke with Ben.
When the driver called, he said that he arrived at the shop with a parts, but there was no one near the shop. Looks like a Joke
If I could give zero negative review> rip off they send you bad transmissions and they wait to answer you until after the warranty expires so they tell you to bad is out of warranty. worst customer service, rude unprofessional personnel. they took my core and claimed never did. drivers accepted that he took it and Ben manager said they never received it
I purchased a used 70k transmission expecting to get a stock transmission. What I got was a clearly rebuilt transmission and was charged 30% restocking plus $369 shipping 2x. Unacceptable.
Running a successful auto shop, I try to find cost effective options for our clients and places like this are the reason I cannot recommend used part companies.
Scam artists and liars- no website, no email.
I get it, its a used part, its always a risk, and they are not legally obligated to refund or even replace. That is the truth.
The issue here is that they guaranteed us they ran this transmission to ensure it was operable….. ill let the pictures speak for themselves.
When we received the transmission we removed the pan to inspect, found metal debris and have been trying for three weeks to get a replacement transmission, and asked to get pictures first to ensure it was a quality transmission.
Left with no choice, we disassembled the transmission to find this mess.
This place wasn’t honest about the used engines they sell. We purchase a used engine “with low mileage” and before installing it we performed a cylinder leak test and it failed. They agreed to send another engine and that engine also failed. They now they won’t give us a full refund and want to charge us 30% of the total amount paid. It’s only been a few days since we have paid and haven’t even install any of the engines yet.
I’m giving these guys a deserving zero-star rating, horrendous customer service and people skills, three times transmission we received was no good, paid $1,500 in good faith only to be treated like garbage when we mentioned the problem to the associates, left numerous messages to the owner who never called back, conversations over the phone were unpleasant and unprofessional..almost like we owed them those $1,500. A 30% restocking fee and shop credit?! Are you kidding me.. NO THANK YOU! Never again will I do business with you!
My friends at German hooked me up with a great working engine for my 5.0 mustang 2 years ago. This time I came back for an engine for my Hyundai Tucson and also super good. Excellent customer service and super nice people. I always tell my friends to shop here. Thank you so much guys you help me to get my car back on the road.
Avoid like the PLAGUE. I explicitly chose to buy a new engine from them because of their good reviews and a 60 day warranty. I had the new engine installed with all new fittings, drove 5 miles, and a check engine light came on. My mechanic pulled the engine code and started trying to solve it. First by swapping the engine sensor with my original one. When they looked at the sensor, a bolt broke off. They had to drill it out, tried my sensor, same code. Then swapped with my variable actuator, still the same code. So it's a problem internal to the engine.
My mechanic and I called this establishment, and they tried to that they'd have a third party inspector review the engine but would not accept the motor back because "your mechanic damaged the engine" citing the broken sensor bolt which ARRIVED that way and COULD NOT CAUSE THE ERROR CODE. And is also ALREADY ADDRESSED leaving the engine in the same working condition as received. AND they wouldn't take it back because they swapped out with new fittings.
Plus I come to find out that the "60 day warranty" is 30 days. That's the reason why I selected them in the first place. They're refusing to vouch for their part quality, will not listen to any reasons why this solved bolt isn't damaged, talk over you during calls, and are using every opportunity to avoid fixing the problem they gave me saying I'm not a mechanic and my mechanic is terrible.
This has been an absolute nightmare. I need this engine because Firestone ran it without oil, and now I have to deal with yet another company trying to put their problems on the consumer.
Exceptional service, top-shelf and high-end parts. My vettes engine failed on a hot track day due to a faulty thermostat. After looking around for about 2 months, I finally decided to purchase a engine off a vette they had with only 30k miles. Ben showed me the vehicle and allowed me to hear the engine before it was removed, no other yard allowed this. The engine was removed and delivered on time. My mechanic was very pleased with the engine and most important I am extremely happy with the car running again. Today I came over for a door panel for the same car.
Always have a great experience working with the staff here. Very knowledgable and the prices are great. They have exactly what I need and inventory many parts across different car manufacturers. Recommended!!
Excellent service, completely satisfied. This is the second time we order an engine from this place. Both times the motors have been just great. Prices are more than fair compared to most shops here in SoCal. Delivery was fast.
The staff is very respectful and very helpful. They were able to handle 4 customers at the same time between 2 counterman. While I was waiting, I was offered refreshments. I’m here for a jaguar motor, I saw the motor online and it looks just as advertised.
Unfortunately, the engine did not fit in the back of my Tahoe, but I got a free delivery from them for Monday. This auto parts rocks !!

About a month a ago my Infiniti G35 started knocking so I called a couple places to inquire about a VQ35DE, luckily for me the guys at German, Korean, and Japanese auto parts were able to help me with that, not only that they also gave me a pretty competitive price compared to other places. They have amazing customer service, especially Gerardo, I will be going with these guys in the future as well as recommend them to all my friends and family! Now my G is back to normal and better than ever!!

Ordered a 2012 Volkswagen Jetta transmission for my wife’s vehicle, the transmission arrived in excellent shape, we did not even have to drain the old fluid, no half way cut wiring, no broken parts. My mechanic installed the transmission without any kind of issues, now my wife’s car runs better than ever. We never noticed how much difference a 30k miles transmission could do on a vehicle with 120k miles. I’d like to express my gratitude towards everyone at German Korean auto. They made the process easy and smooth.
I’m very satisfied with the engine and transmisión combo I purchased from German Auto. Originally, I over revved my motor and destroyed the complete drivetrain. I saw the car at their location and I ordered the engine and gear box on Monday and they delivered as promised on Wednesday. After the install was done, the engine had no leaks or any kind of issues. I found them through car-part.com. Parts were clean, customer service was excellent.
This team sold me an awesome BMW 535i Twin Turbo engine at a great price. The quality and condition of the engine was excellent. The price was significantly better than anyone in the USA. I checked many places and no one could have given me a better engine or a better deal. I installed engine and it ran great on first try. Instantly passed smog with great readings. Thank you to Nader, Ivan, and one young guy that I did not catch his name.

Trustworthy people. They're also really helpful and honest. I've shopped here at least 6 times and I never had an issue with them. Last time they sold me a radio for my Mercedes and it started giving me problems after the warranty was due but they exchanged it and offered to install it anyways. Excellent people.
