The mexican lady with the fancy nails was so rude,spoke too fast with accent,and acted like I come here all the time. The place was disgusting too. She should not act so high faluten with where she works.

Spoke with a woman on the phone who told me to come to their facility, drove my truck full of carpet and padding and a couple mattresses there, for them to tell me that they only deliver dumpster bins and are not a dump site. Was rude and brushed me off with "I don't know who you spoke with but it wasn't us" and walked away as I was still talking. Unprofessional, disorganized, no help from anyone, 10/10 wouldn't ever recommend

They won't answer the phones! Tried calling for 4 days to schedule a large item pick up and couldn't get them. Can't schedule on phone bc we pay thru HOA and don't have I independent account #

as an OC resident, disposal of my paints, TV and auto fluids was fast and super efficient. They take everything out of your car while you stay in the driver's seat. Super easy.

Dump prices have skyrocketed! I came in with a small load of scrap lumber in my small pickup. I got to the window and was told the price, it was triple from the last time I came. I said "no thanks, I'll just go home, cut it up and put it in the bin and you'll take it for free" F.U.

Dump was pricey for a one load. Went on a Sat. and apparently the supervisor on duty left early and sent others home too. They would not let us in because no one was there to weigh us. We were there before closing. Very disappointed. Had to keep a rented U-haul 2 extra days!

Who drops two dumpsters off in the middle of the road? I know we ordered it for the driveway. It wasn't even dropped in front, by the driveway. It's on the side of the road, shortest distance for the lazy driver to drop it off. Completely inappropriate. I've been on hold 10 minutes so far, haven't talked to anyone yet. Probably gonna hang up and drag it up with my truck now. Thanks for being useless.

I guess they're ok. Dump fees through the roof now and not one person there seems to know what is going on or speaks English.

Absolutely useless customer service. Called the local 714 number and got a call center on the other side of the country who, of course, couldn't answer any questions. I asked for the number for the local facility and was told they don't have one. Perfect example of a business not caring because they have a monopoly. I think it's time to open waste disposal to some competition.

They have raised their minimum price from $25,00 to $80.00 in the last few months. The service was horrible. They would not show us where to go to dump the trash. Then we had to drive around the facility in order to find the correct gate to check out. There were no signs or people showing where to go.

They didn’t pick up our trash on the normal Wednesday for unknown reasons (trashcan wasn’t even full). I called and they rescheduled for a Friday pick up. They never showed again. Now my trashcan is overflowing. This is not the first time this has happened. Really disappointed.

Ordered a bin for Saturday delivery, with a signed contract and payment made via CC. Saturday came and no bin. Called their unhelpful customer service to learn they had made a mistake on the pickup date and because of it, the order was cancelled. One would expect for them to call to let me know, but not these people. Horrible experience!

Would give them a zero if able. Rates jumped to $80 from $35 for a small truckload of yard waste. Republic is another outrageous example of a big corporate monopoly cash grab on public money. Brea and San Juan dumps cost $20..

I ordered a 40 Yard bin for construction debris. The didn't arrive after 4 days. I called and was told the operator did not fill out my information correctly. Mind you I was charged within the hour I initially called. I was then told that I couldn't have the bin on-site for more than 4 days without it being picked up. I was told the best thing to do was receive the bin and then call to extend. I did that and was told my records could not be located. I called later and was told I needed to email someone seeing as how I was speaking to someone on the east coast that could not assist. It has taken me about 2 hours of phone calls and I still don't have closure on the issue of having a bin on-site for a few weeks. If I could give 0 stars I would. By far the worst experience I have had ordering bins and I order about 100 bins a year.

I called just to rent a 3 yard bin. Just as I have for over 20 years. The website says they don't service my area, as I look accross the street at my neighbor's rent a bin from Republic. After 40 minits the operator tells me he has to transfer me to someone else. After this the new operator tells me he has to take my information and have a sales rep call me in 24 hours...what a crock....I used to call, and they would set me up right away. What moron decided to transfer companies. republic has the manopoly on our trash service in Huntington Beach...of course Republic doesn't care about good service...they get paid regardless....dump this company...

We have ordered dumpsters twice a year for years, but as soon as Republic Services took over Rainbow Disposal, the customer service is a ZERO! We have been double billed, the rent a bin last time was never picked up and we had to keep calling, and this third bin we rented never showed up. My husband took Friday off from work and the bin never showed. Even with several calls to them...they have no idea why the bin didn't show up and nobody calls us back as promised. It's a shame that the city of Fountain Valley has a contract with this company, as we are stuck using them if we need to rent a bin.

Very unprofessional organization! You can tell that leadership does not get there customer focus across by going to areas after the Rainbow truck has just left and see how they leave the area around trash bins. Horrible mess! Missed picking up on Saturday in our complex and then by Monday the bins were overflowing. When they did arrive on Monday, they dumped trash over the edge of the bins and did not clean up. When mentioned to the driver he laughed and stared "not my job"!!!! I wish we had other options! I live in the Seawind Cove townhouse complex, only 105 units in here and the service has never been good! If fact it has always been poor, not even mediocre.

I called this morning at 8 a.m. and was able to speak with a customer service agent right away. No long wait on hold at all. The girl was very nice and extremely helpful in scheduling a yard waste pick. The customer service was excellent and submitting the request by phone was very easy. I really appreciate great customer service! 5 Stars.

I ordered a dumpster for today which still hasn't arrived. I called office and was on hold for 30 minutes and then they disconnected me. Called again back on hold. Horrible service or should we save no service!! Tried to go online and got no service for my zip code.

Dropped off 17 gallons of old paint today to start cleaning the garage. The line was short, only 5 minute waiting. Two attendants from the toxic household materials area unloaded my old paint with a smile. I drove away with a smile. Paint is gone. Landfill is happy.

I'm not sure what happened to this company. It wasn't too long ago when I would request an additional pick up at my business and as long as I called by noon, they would pick up the same day. I have been instructed to call the day before and they will service the next day. This has not been happened on 5 of the last 10 requests. My frustration level is very high with Rainbow environmental services at this point!!

I won a rent a bin certificate at the Westminster High School Car Show and I called the Rainbow Environmental Services department and they will not honor the certificate!!! They say because I live in Garden Grove and not Westminster that I can't use the certificate. Why did they donate the certificate if not everyone can use it??? Here I that I not only donate to a worthy cause and then win the raffle, but I can't use the certificate I won! Very, very bad customer service! If I could give less than one star I would. I will continue to post bad reviews for this company's customer service

I get CNG here. The pumps are old and difficult to use, and the air around here has an unpleasant odor because the garbage dump is on the same site. However, this place has pretty reasonable prices and it's fairly close to my home.

I waited line for 20 minutes to scale in and scale attendant said 60 dollars I was Floored! I only had a few hundred #'s of 2x2's and few old press boards. I say the hell with these thieves. Start burning your trash. Big communication at dumping area - no one could speak english- sure hope no emergency happens, SOS!

Not crazy about the increasing fees over the years, especially when we are now sorting recyclables for them. However, they've been very courteous & professional when I've dealt with them on the phone or in person, including at the hazardous waste drop-off site. Also, they are fairly active in the community by donating money/time/services to schools & other organizations. As a booster at FVHS, I know they are a key contributor to some of the programs at the school, which directly benefits students. And, regarding the latest controversy about enclosing the entire facility to eliminate trash smells, I think they're getting a raw deal. I don't have all the facts, but it seems like they've been there for a lot of years for the purpose of serving the surrounding cities, & I've never heard this complaint before. Now that it's happening, I'm sure the cost for will be passed on to residents.

Great drivers always very conscientious. Our local driver noticed a spill on our street verified his truck did not have a leak in his containment area. After thanksgiving a neighbor who probably deepfried a turkey disposed of his oil in the trash. The rainbow driver made sure that rainbow came out and cleaned the streets of the cooking oil mess.

I live in a apartment complex and the truck driver was on the phone while driving. I had my wife and newborn in the car. The driver advanced towards my car making me reverse until he could pass by. The driver had more than enough room to let me through but decided to play chicken with me and family in the car. I'm very upset. Something needs to be do with to fix the reckless behavior of this particular person.

UPDATE: After numerous complaints via phone and the web they replaced our broken bins. I was going to give them 3 stars but I'll give them 4 because I'm a regular at their CNG station. ================= Our complex pays thousands and thousands of dollars to be serviced by Rainbow. The bins we have are old and the bottoms are rotting away with many holes in them. Dirt, trash, and other things continue falling out. A work order has been in place for months to replace them yet I keep having to sweep up twice a week because trash falls out of the bottom of the bin every time they pick up. For the ungodly amount we pay for trash pickup I expect better service.
