This place has limited hours but makes it super easy to drop off electronics, batteries, chemicals, and pretty much anything that you can't toss in the trash.

Hazmat household disposal. Dispose of household hazardous material in a responsible manner. If you can open and close your car trunk from behind the wheel you can place dump material in the trunk and not need to exit the vehicle.

I LOVE their hazardous materials recycling program! You gotta go on the right day, I think they put new stuff out about once a week, but if you catch it the day of or right after they restock, you can pick up up to 5 FREE items per day! I've gotten everything from paint to garden soil, cleaning chemicals, grout, caulking, adhesives and so much more there! It's a great resource and program to minimize our environmental impact by reducing waste.

Friendly, fast and professional crew. I hope the city of HB recognizes the fantastic work the crew does.

This is a place for residents served by the Midway Sanitation District to drop off Household Hazardous Waste - paints, cleaners, solvents, etc that should not go in your regular trash bins. Also, broken TVs, PCs, and electronics. Put everything into your trunk! Look for GATE 6 on Nichols. The staff there will take everything - No need to get out. There are Materials Exchange shelves to the right if you continue ahead rather than U-turn as the sign says after dropping off items. This is where paints, insecticides, and household chemicals others don't want are offered free to the public. Limit 5 free items per day. There's a few parking spots nearby, or continue forward to the Gate 5 entrance for more parking spots. Because these items are sitting outside, bring gloves, wipes, and a plastic bag. Usually a cloud of dust all over the bottles and containers, and some leak.

It’s so easy to go drop off your household hazard items. We dropped off our lights and dangerous items. The staff quickly took our items out of our car safely. Thanks to the Home Depot staff, we learned about the safety rules. We will tell all of our neighbors so everyone is safe Great place, move fast, friendly staff

Okay so I love when businesses say they're going to be open at a certain time and they close at a certain time and then you drive over there and they are not open and they close early it really blows my mind like your business stay open until the hours on Google say 345 then close at 3:45 don't close 15 to 30 minutes early...it's just unprofessional ans and really disappointing Usually I would say this is a good place to go but honestly stay open until your business hours

Very efficient process, enter well marked gate #6 drive to where employees advise to stop. They ask what city you live in and then proceed to remove your discarded paint containers. Fast and simple.

They removed my items quickly. I did wait in a line of cars around 3PM on a Tuesday for about 13 minutes. They take electronic waste too.

Was able to drop of a bunch of un-cured un-mixed resin and was happily surprised that they took my old electronics garbage and batteries as well! Saved me a trip to another disposal site. Everyone was nice and helpful too!

Perfect and Fast for residents! Drive in lane, stay in car and staff removes items from boot/trunk/hatch with hazmat gloves for your safety. There is an area adjacent for hazmat items that are reusable. Just park in spaces, walk in and shop on shelves. Complete form with # items taken. FREE! Amazing finds!

Went there for first time yesterday. The process was super easy and simple. Had about 10 gallons total of cooking oil to dispose. In and out in about 5 min total including wait time . They asked for content and got the containers out of my car. I didn't have to do a thing. Still got out to make sure nothing spills in trunk. Tips - Go to Gate 6 and Call ahead to ask specific questions. I called the office to confirm info I read on the website. Person was helpful with directions, type of waste, and quantity allowed.

Went there, didn't even get out of my car, told them I've got some automotive fluids, they took them out of my car and said have a nice day. From pulling in the driveway to leaving I was there less than 2 minutes. Super simple.

You need to be a resident of Orange county to use this dump. I guess they'd rather people pour their chemicals into a sewer drain than create an easy avenue for people to properly dispose of hazardous chemical. Ridiculous government bureaurcracy BS

Took old paint, cleaners, degreaser, old mixed gas, old TV. Unloaded and gone in 5 min and it was free. Only had to get out cause I wanted to ask a question. Fast and easy. Highly recommend.
