Tried to make it here earlier, still made it before 5PM. Only needed to scrap a few pieces of metal. Ended up wasting a 30min round trip. Closed before their stated 5PM close time. Unfortunate.
Day after Christmas and parking was starting to fill up decently. Posters on the walls tell you to grab the appropriate basket or container. The baskets for cans are wheeled and plentiful. A staff member kindly greeted me and helped to weigh my basket. Less than 2 minutes later was given a voucher and directed to the cashier. The rate for cans was worth the drive to HB. Excellent service, hours and rates for redemption. Will be back for sure.
I started coming to Beachside Recycling earlier this year, and it's a fantastic recycling facility. Very well run with helpful staff members. I am always in and out pretty quickly. Thank you for providing this much needed service!
Had some recycling to do and was directed here. Kind've in the cut, but once we got there and loaded our haul were out in a jiff. Pretty good. A concrete 8.
I went to beachside recycling for the first time today. Friendly staff, very helpful. I brought a good amount of stuff to recycle. I was out of there in less than 10 minutes. Easy peasy I would definitely recommend this place
Great place to turn in your recyclables . Just as good as place as any. For the money. Probably more. Place is clean. Employees there. Are very respectful. And nice. What you don't see too much of. At other recycling places .
The staff here are amazing, super helpful over the phone and in person. We stopped to drop cardboard and it was the easiest thing we had done all day!!! Appreciate the staff and the great work they do
Who would guess recycling can be a pleasant experience? Each time I recycle at Beachside Recycling, the employees are courteous and helpful.I am almost always asked if I need help. I am amazed how clean considering it is what it is. I also rarely encounter a line. Fair prices also.
Great spot. Well run, I'm always in and out pretty quickly and the staff (family business, maybe?) is always courteous and prompt. I wish my HOA provided recycling bins, but this place is a short (and scenic) drive away down the PCH.
After trying several different recycling locations, these guys became my go-to place. They're always helpful, and treat you more like you're a welcome member of the family than just a business visitor. I've showed up a minute after they'd already closed the gate for the day, and they still let me in rather than telling me I had to come back another day.
They also take non-CRV recyclables like glass bottles and jars, tin cans, milk cartons, cardboard, mixed paper, and the like. They even accept large electronic items for disposal. No money in return for these non-CRV items, but for somebody who's trying to take recycling seriously as part of an environmentally conscious lifestyle, this place is perfect for me.
Whenever I visit, I feel like a better custodian as a citizen of Earth. I bring my recyclable cans, bottles, and plastics and reclaim some of my money paid in recycling fees at the grocery store. As this facility is close to the coast, the environment is nicer than other recycling centers. Also the quick employees (both the one weighing my recyclables and the other running the register) make sure your visit is no longer than necessary.

I understand this place switched ownership recently...super service now. They have a lot of people working there, and eliminated the need to transfer materials to weigh them. The result is that there is rarely a line even though a lot of people tend to come here. Great place, best recycling place around!
I actually think I like this place better than OCC. They're both nice, but OCC is closed because of the pandemic so I found this place. Easy in, easy process, easy out. Ca$h to buy more beer... I mean milk!
Fast fast fast! Love this place, and the employees are really nice and friendly. Lots of room to work, and get your recycling in, get paid, and get out. I'll only go here for my recycling.
I've been going to this place for years. The rates have significantly dropped when they sold to a new management company or they are just cheating me. I believe the previous owner, an Asian couple, sold it to a Mexican management company. They came in and cleaned it up, put in a fancy office and offer more services. It's literally a one-stop-shop for recycling. You can get money back for cans and plastics and newspapers. You can also drop off cardboard, electronics and mixed paper (not for cash). But the guys are friendly and helpful; I just wish the rates were better.
The drive-up recycling area was clean and quite organized. The recycling attendant helped me with one of my containers. He was very friendly and he weighed my recyclables promptly. Payment was quickly received, a very efficient operation, I will return soon.
This has recently been sold and taken overr. I'm very impressed with the new owners. Very clean and quick. Highly recommended.
. And it's only been a few weeks but they have made some dramatic changes at the recycling center, all for the better. I believe they are keeping the same hours as the old owners. Mon thru Saturday open , Sunday closed
