Bought a driveshaft from WIP in July 2024 for my 1991 BMW 525I. The driveshaft arrived in good shape, and that's about the only good thing I can say about it. After driving for a year I can say without a doubt this driveshaft is hot garbage. It vibrates nearly as bad as my old one that had a bad center support bearing. I even used an OEM flex disc with the install. I hoped it was just a stiff guibo and would get better, but no, it didn't. I'm going to try a local driveshaft shop and hope they can fix the balance on it. Lesson learned.
As a busy repair shop, we can rely on WIP for quality parts ,and great service. I love calling and actually speaking to a human who knows their stuff !

Sent me the wrong item and refused to process a return or exchange without charging me fees and return shipping. Spent $600 and got the worst service I’ve ever experienced, and they said they won’t let me order from them again because i didn’t let them walk all over me. I didn’t plan on it anyway.
Bought a new driveshaft for my 2004 Subaru Outback. These guys had the lowest price I could find for it, so I gave it a shot. The first one that they sent me fit, but it had a vibration at certain speeds. I called them and explained the problem, and they sent me a replacement no questions asked. Installed the replacement and it works perfectly smoothly. I just shipped the defective one back in the box the replacement came in with the included label. Very good experience and I would buy another driveshaft from them again.
"Awesome! WIP service was superb. 10 Star Rated in my book. My mechanic seem to have an issue after installing driveshaft- on my 1999 528i sedan. I was alarmed at this, as he was not sure why my car was now vibrating very bad on idle, something I did not have from the onset. I had only experienced vibrate upon acceleration up to 20MPH which lead me to a new drive shaft instead of a partial fix to the center boot. I was really concerned as to the ability of this mechanic. Did he know what he was doing? Hmmm!. He was unsure what was causing car tovibrate. He ask me to leave the car so he could check it out. I left his shop and called WIP. WIP elected to call my mechanic direct and low and behold the mechanic called me in about 30 minutes. My car was ready for pick up. WIP directed them as to what they may have or have not done correctly. I would surely refer WIP to anyone. The service such as this is totally unheard of these days. Ordered a drive shaft for my 1997 BMW Z3 for a very reasonable price. It came quickly and is definitely a quality product. Car runs great now. On top of that, the core refund came through very quickly once I shipped the old one back.

I've picked up one of their driveshafts for a Subaru Outback and all I have to say is the quality is definitely there. More robust and the fact that they can be rebuilt is a plus. I put over 40k miles on it already and absolutely no vibration's from the driveshaft. Highly recommend these guys!

My front driveshaft on my 2006 BMW X3 was loose at the U joints. I searched a few forums and I was directed to Wholesale Import Parts. I wanted to make sure I was ordering the correct part so I emailed Sales and they came back with the part I need. The price is nice compared to the dealership and indy shops, the shaft is of high quality and I received the part within days. I am very please and once the need comes to replace my rear shaft I will use Wholesale Import Parts again.
