Definitely one of the better recyclers that I have visited!
The take CRV materials, as well as scrap metals, and paper. They even take non-working electronics, most of which they'll pay you for, like old cell phones.
It's at the end of a cul-de-sac, on the right/East side of the street, and do have short signs in front.
They pay a fair amount, which seems to be a bit more than the per container rate, if they are counted.
It's the only place I use now!
THE WORST PLACE TO SELL YOUR RECYCLE THEY RIP YOU OFF, THEY TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOU, DO NOT GO THERE THEY MIX YOUR CLEAN AND PURE ALUMINUM WITH THE PAINT ONE SO THEY DONT PAY YOU AS THEY SHOULD. I GOT A LITTLE UPSET BECAUSE IS MY SONS HE WAS SAVING ALL HIS RECYCLE TO BUY SOMETHING THAT HE NEEDS, AFTER THEY PAY ME IN THE WINDOW I WENT AND TOLD THE PERSON IN CHARGE YOU RIP US OFF TODAY AND HE WAS TRYING TO EXPLAIN TO ME WHY I DIDNT GET PAY FOR ANY PURE ALUMINUM BUT HE COUDNT MAKE ANY SENSE . SO DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DONT GO TO THIS PLACE. THE REASON A GAVE A STAR IS BECAUSE IS BECAUSE THERE IS NO OPTION OF CERO STARS.
Very friendly people place a little small for 53 but they are coming to help make it very easy fast loading usually small places are disastrous but not here they have good management
my neighbor recommended me this place and I loved it! The worker who attended me and my mom was very friendly and helpful when it came down to bringing the bags I had inside my truck and explained to me how it worked! Definitely pays more than the usual spot my mom would go! Definitely coming back!
I come here every single time I need the recycle. They’re super friendly. It’s a pleasure talking with the workers. They’re always there to help you out. To the point where I’d rather just make the extra drive here, then go to other places. Plus they pay out well.
Been going for years I'm writing this on 12/25/23. Because I went a week ago but then got a notification to add to my review from 2 years ago.They still pay more than any other place I've gone too. Also to the guy who said it shows 20 less than the initial weight. That's because they are subtracting the weight of the barrels used..it's always been that way and yes you can look at the scale to see the weight if you
want too. It is just in a different spot than before.
They don't bother showing the check out weight anymore. Before, I can clearly see they cheat by changing the weight of 20 pounds at the last second (I'm pretty sure 20 pounds lighter at check-in and 20 pounds heavier at checkout, total 40 pounds cheated), now I only get half the money I used to get to show you how much they steal from customers now.
Garcia's recycling is a nice quick place to get rid of all the junk. They pay good for all your CRV Cans and bottles. They don't pay good for cardboard or scrap steel. Good thing is that they will take old water heaters, stoves, refris at .03 cents per pound, not good at all but you get rid of useless stuff. It's a good place.
I've been going to this place to recycle my glass, steel cans, and aluminum cans for years. It's one of the only places around that take vegetable cans. You won't get much money for steel specifically but they're definitely worth recycling!
Oh my gosh, I love this place I pulled up I was greeted with a smile a gentleman helped me separate and then weighed them I could see the weight as well he told me I cashed in , in the many years of recycling Garcia’s is the best! They have a pernamate customer
I've been here multiple times and it's always a good experience. It's clean, fast and the prices seem fair. Also, the staff are always friendly and will explain how to sort you recyclables and which baskets to use, heck they even help you sort if it's slow it seems. Good place.
The best of the best. I got here 5 min before they closed and they got me in and out with money in my hand. Make sure you ALWAYS sort everything out at home if you want them to move fast. Help them help you. The guys are very fast, efficient and friendly. I've been going here ever since i discovered it. 5/5 highly recommended
We went to sell my friend 's plastics and glass bottles. First time to my friend came this place which he brought 6 big bags plastic bottles and 2big bags cans and 1bag glass bottles..it was this was a rubbery..all $26 and coins..i had referred to it as a good place that pays well..they were fair and there were no crooks.. but if they do have workers who help us they dont wait for one to finish putting all things up and that is how they rob you because you dont see how much is weighs what you take. My friend told that other recycling place close his house they paid him $57 dls..(regular place) that why we knew it..what a shame to have such a place and i who lived in this city of garden grove and recommends the place that i have known for years and are doing this the workers..they are latin, what a shame..
I love this place. Recycle centers are very often dishonest or cheat you on weights so they can take their own cut at the end of the day. This place is different. You actually get paid for every pound that you bring in. No skimming happens here. They also are the quickest and most effecient recycle center that I have ever been to and I have been to a lot of them. If you have presorted you material they have a expedited line where they help you unload and quickly get you on your way. Friendly helpful employees and they pay top dollar for their materials. They are also full service taking all recyclable materials not just cans and bottles. Anything from aluminum to copper to paper and cardboard. Great place I haven't found a better place to go. Hours are great. Open until 5pm Monday thru Friday & open Saturday until 2. They are closed on Sundays. Holidays they are sometimes open for 1/2 day.
No help. Asked if they'd take some metal lamps left behind by previous tenants and was told no. They did suggest that I can just set the lamps on the side of the curb and put a "FREE" sign on it and someone might pick it up in a week or two. What a joke.

I don’t like this recycling place. They used to be very different now they have become very difficult.
Remember when you go here to make sure all the glass is separated by color, YES that’s right. All glass needs to be separated by color and the cans need to be COMPLETELY empty.
The plastic bottles need to be separated by color, what kind of juice you drank and YES, COLOR.
My husband and I went with 12 separate bags. We have to do all this so the workers that are there don’t get to do anything but weigh the cans and that’s it.
I will no, and do not recommend this place to anyone. Besides, they pay much less than any other place around.
And the only reason why I went there was because I live across the street from there.
Would like to update my reviews. Went here many times and it has been a fun experience. Workers here are very nice and friendly. Will help you out whenever they can. The place is clean and theres a sink to wash hands next to the exchange window.

Everytime Ive gone before 2009 it's been worth while. Throughout the years they just rip you off more and more. But Everytime I bring my hispanic friends all my copper seems to be worth more
I have been going to Garcia Recycling since October 1980(Today is 11/10/19). They have always had the best prices and good weighing practices.
I have never been cheated.
The employee(s) should ask the customer first and foremost whether she or he has the distinct types of bottles already separated in their respective bags within the vehicle before sending them off to a further parking space. Shortly afterwards, the staff member, a dark-skinned (around 5’10ft) man with dark shades and who was also responsible for not asking aforementioned inquiry in the first place, came off uncooperative with his tonality once he was told what the matter was about among his workmates. Utterly substandard professionalism. If I had the option from Google, I wouldn’t give a single star since the recycling staff member’s conduct doesn’t necessarily deserve it.
Had a great experience bringing my recyclables, helpful staff. It was all fast and easy and I was pleasantly surprised at how well they pay for them. Even happier that they had a hand washing station, cause you will need it.
