If I could give a negative star rating I would!! This place used to be my go to recycling centers. It was convenient, near me and they pay a fair price, but as of today I will never go back there again! So I went there today and like always and as to be expected, they'very busy on a Saturday morning, which is okay. There was no parking, which is also normal. And to be expected, so as I wait for a parking spot, I get yelled at by some little short Mexican guy. That looks like he should be out of a Lord of the Rings movie.
To move my car which was at the moment now. Text impossible, so we then proceeds to cuss me out in Spanish thingy. Because I'm white, I don't know what he's saying. So when I cuss him out back in Spanish and tell him to watch his mouth, he gets on his radio and gets me kicked out of there.
That to me is crossing the line. And for the so Call Manager to come out. And tell me they won't take my recyclables because their employee cusses me out and gets called on. It is not very business like so I'll for now. I'll go anywhere but there Which is a bummer to me but is necessary. Good luck to any of you that go there. I hope you have a good run as I did. I really wouldn't choose to go somewhere else other than principal.
Be careful people when you come here to sell your cans here there are certain persons that are so rude, probably they are drunk or something else,I saw some beers bottles not empty, I didn't like the way certain person treats me,I'm going to report them, just think twice, or if you see something report them.
So each time I go to recycle stuffs, I literally have to write down my weight and compare it with whatever is printed out for me. Today is the 4th time the staff tried to cheat me. The first receipt had anhuge discrepancy of $16.00. I pointed it out to him and he said: "oh" and corrected it. It is soo unfair, unprofessional and irresponsible to be stealing from. The lowly.
I arrived today around 4:50pm and the gate was closed. When I opened it, the worker was screaming we're closed. Come back tomorrow. The hours are until 5 pm. You should stay open until the stated time. Another car arrived behind me 5 minutes later. I drove half an hour not to be turned away. Terrible attitude to customers. If you want to close earlier change the time to 4:30. We are disappointed.
I went there because it was close to where I was then and I needed room in my truck. They wanted to give me just $22.00 for a bunch on copper wire scrap. I went to my normal place, SA recycling, and got over $100 for it.
They were super nice and friendly, quick service, and organized, kids got to experience ways to help them save money. Now they are crazy about recycling.
This place is a ripoff I wouldn't go there if it was the last place I went they're wrong for stealing people's money especially when people are struggling and having a hard time out there spending their days collecting recyclables and then these people just cash them in and keep three quarters of their money it's wrong they need to be reported to the better Business bureau
Any place else you go with the same amount of materials you're definitely get paid what it's worth what people need to do is not go to that recycling center no more don't give them the satisfaction of burning you don't give him the satisfaction of taking your money and don't give them satisfaction of giving them your business and they will get shut down thank you
There are closed 10 minutes early and they let a car out and I was disabled in a wheelchair and they wouldn't help me with just four bags of plastic bottles it would take less than 5 minutes and I would be out before 5:00 p.m. and then I had one man tell me barely in English that system was broken. After they all came out at the same time at 5:10 p.m. at the front door they asked me what's going on I told them and a few of them said that we closed 10 minutes early to clean. I said you should change the sign do we close at 4:50 to clean not to say that we close at 5:00 p.m.
If you want to get rid of your recycles quick and easy, this place is for you.
I don't know about price compare to other center but I like the way of recycling. I just need to dump my recycles by their kinds in the provided bin, bring it to the front , weight it, and they will pay you in the cashier. Quick and convenience. Unlike the recycle machine that I have to put the bottle one by one.
Just drove there from La Habra.Wife says you better check before you go to make sure they're open.I looked on their website and it said open till 5pm.I get there at 4:50 and they are closed.
Very clean, prices for were okay. Quick service. Good news is a hispanic man in 30's tried to see catalytic converter and they turn him down. I thanked them for that.
They advertise certain hours and they don't honor those hours of operation. Today, the woman shorted me one dollar, from my recycling receipt. Unacceptable!
This place is legit, totally radical! Bring all your cans and bottles from all your ragers here. I think they have a coupon or something if you come and ask OK.
Everything is organized. They get you in & out. Don't go just before or after a holiday. Not a ton of parking, but a good amount. I'll never go to another place & wait for cans.
Walk up and ask about recycling aluminum wheels. Lady at the scale says $0.20 a pound. I bring up two wheels, another male kid walks up and says $0.10 a pound. I conveyed to him the lady said $0.20 a pound. His response, “Oh well”. Mind you, these are clean aluminum wheels from a Chevy truck. No stem. No weight. No dirt. Arrogant thieves.
I came into a lot of different scrap materials. I spent a days separating items. I looked online read some reviews and called a couple. West Coast was tje furthest from my home, but the girl who answered my call was very polite and helpful. My last question ess what time do you close. Im sitting in the parking lot outside writing this review i showed up at 3:51pm at no time on my call was i instructed you will be turned away by dome guy with a mask laughing and waiving his finger no no. He was letting someone out. I am in Fullerton drove pass to centers to drive out here. I would never recommend this business and i was management i would be very selective on who decides who to turn away during operating hours. The best part the gentleman who J Walked across Commonwealth which i arrived before this gentleman was not turned away when the giggling finger waiver opened the gate. What a waste of my time
Great place to recycle and prices are more than fair. The only thing I dont like is they want you to separate the glass bottles by color. Other than that I will be coming back
Great customer services. The clerk's out on the lot will help you with carts, unloading and sorting, etc. Good prices. Very clean recycling center. I would recommended to anyone wanting to start recycling.
I have an idea of the weight of things because I sell products online and I weight products for shipping every day. I cleaned my garage, I got 4 pieces of metal stuff with a total of at least 150 pounds. The guy who weighted the stuff was doing some weird things. They said that it was only 42 pounds. I didn't have time to argue, I just left and I will never go back there.
I just looked up the coupon that he is referring too and it expired October 31, 2015. So yeah if he's trying to use a coupon past an expiration date they won't except it. Read the fine print. I'm going to go there soon never been but wanted to clarify the coupon issue.
