Apparently all this cracks and deformations are standard prep,cracks everywhere middle fin is out of shape nuts are missing from the bolts, bolt holes cracked side panels bent way to far for fiber glass. tried to get a refund but they wouldn’t give me my money back on the shipping, and I need to pay for the label to send it back. horrible product and horrible company this is not a 600$ item.
Horrible experience purchasing from them. Do NOT buy anything from them. Their customer service is horrible we have been emailing them for weeks and they have do not reply to allow us to return an item
Bought a bumper and side skirts for my 1999 911. Quality is so bad, wish I would have spent the extra money for a different brand. I don't even know if I can use this on my car. Distinguished.
Absolutely horrible customer service to match their products. Got a bumper and took it to the body shop for them to quote me more money than I put into buying the bumper. Requested a warranty claim and got a second bumper. Got it a few weeks later and is in worse condition then the first bumper. Requested a refund and haven’t heard anything from them in (at the time of this post) 4 days. Absolutely horrible experience and wouldn’t recommend them to anybody.
I bought a hood for my 2011 mustang gt, got the 4inch cowl hood, and it is really good quality for the good price, just did a bit of extra prep work but it is nice, my recomendation is to apply primer to all the parts again
I have not fit the hood yet but it looks beautiful. My experience with Extreme Dimensions' customer service was excellent. As a Canadian shipping it in, they helped me every step of the way. Good job!
order a type r style lip fitment was horrible , needed a lot of work to make the finishing even look presentable, no mounting tabs. i tried to get a refund and of course its a process and the shipping cost to send it back is outrageous. so your basically stuck with it. do not recommend!!!!!!!!!
Placed an order with drivenbystyle for a ZL1 1LE carbon wing that was fulfilled by extreme dimensions, the product came was not was was on the site. returned and got my refund.
Poor customer service . Received $3000 worth of product that was busted and broken when delivered . Had to contact shipping company myself that they used to deliver my order. I had to try to get my issue resolved . They did not even contact shipping company for me as a paying customer. The products are shipped in poor conditions and packaging . Awful experience ! Do not recommend using them to purchase anything you need shipped to you ! Bought bumpers and they were sent busted and damaged . Spent hours on phone trying to get issue resolved . And had to do all the leg work myself ! After paying in full for the service and product they provide .
Purchased a body kit for my Porsche Boxster. These kits are more expensive than average and i ASSUMED that because it was more expensive it would be the higher quality kits..its not. In my experience the cheaper kits have more need for modification. The more expensive ones fit better. This kit has no pre drilled holes. In fact where the holes should be is just very thin and fragile fiberglass. The bumper lines can't get flush with the car and the marker lights don't fit. Below is a picture of how it lines up. I like the look of the kit. But do not recommend anyone buying this. If you do, be prepared for a lot of fiberglass work as it requires more work than the cheaper versions on ebay.
Update sept 27, 2023.The rear bumper fits far better than the front. Lines are smoother and would earn an extra star. However the side shirts are worse than the front bumper. A ton of fabrication is needed for the side, so much in fact that I'm thinking about just leaving them off. This doesn't mean the rear bumper is perfect. It still sits to high on the mounting point by the rear spoiler. About a half an inch. You can't sand it. I added a small spacer to fill the gap. When the rear wing is down it locks in anyway, so im ok with that. I will add picrures soon
I ordered a carbon hood from them and they did not give me a physical inspection upon picking up my hood from their warehouse. When inspecting at home I noticed that there was damage to the gel coat of the hood. I am giving two stars instead of one because they did reimburse me the cost of the repair. I took it to a body shop to install the hood and the fitment of the hood is absolutely horrible. It said QC passed but the holes to install the hood were never drilled out and the body shop had to further modify the hood to get decent fitment. The mould that is used is not good and even the owner of the body shop had stated he has had issues with carbon creations with multiple other customers. Ended up paying extra for the installation because the hood required extra modification to fit.
Ordered some of their duraflex side skirts and even with photo evidence of improperly fitting parts they refuse to issue a refund. "support" wants to stand behind the skirts not fitting because of the rear over fenders which I also purchased for them in the same order, even with the rear over fenders off the skirts still do not fit. Realistically if they were aware of this issue they should've made a disclaimer before taking my money. Wouldn't recommend doing business with this company.
Their products are decent and have served me well. Their customer service however is incredibly disappointing. I ordered a part to be picked up, I talked through the conversation of making an appointment which was a joke in itself. I wish I could remember who I spoke to first on the phone because he was the only decent human in the office. To everyone else, me being there to pick up a bumper was a burden. The warehouse workers were much more polite. This is the last time I order anything from extreme dimensions, or any of their other companies.
Ordered a front lip by this company and horrible fitment. Filed a claim and sent them couple pictures and telling me it looks fine after constantly telling them the front lip not sitting right. One side will always be off, not lining up with the bumper. Refuse to send me a shipping label to mail back their garbage product. Did a dispute with my bank and they helped me out.
I cannot say enough at how impressed I am with the hood and the customer service by Extreme Dimensions. There were some shipping problems with the first hood, through no fault of Extreme. The shipper accidentally dropped the crate on the corner, damaging the hood. The return process was excellent, Ryan and Craig kept me well informed throughout the return process. In short order, a replacement hood was sent to the body shop for paint. The quality of the hood is excellent. After very minimal sanding (which of course is expected) it was ready for paint. I'm extremely happy and take my hat off to the Extreme Dimensions team, well done guys! Once color is down I'll upload some pictures. You have a customer for life. Ron
Bought a Duraflex body kit for a Mustang from CARiD, and it had a lot of fitment issue. They expected the car to sit at a body shop for weeks at my expense for storage there. We sent in pics they ask for then it took them over a week to send them to Duraflex. So we decided to keep the old bumpers and paint them. Then over a week later the turn around and ask for more pics. Which we can’t do k ow that the car is back together. So they say there is nothing they can do. PLEASE Run away from this company. Worst customer customer service every. Contact Duraflex who drop shipped the kit to me. They said there was nothing they could do. Neither company stands behind there product.

Bought a bumper cover and a hood. The hood is ok, still needs work to be decent, but the bumper cover was terrible; it will need a lot of work refinishing the lines and holes for it to look half-way decent. It looks and feels cheap too. On top of everything, the lady who answers the phone at Fullerton needs a lesson or two in customer service, she extremely rude. I will be adding pictures to this review.
I ordered a hood for my truck. I called to get an update on my order, received a tracking number and it was already in transit. Customer service was very helpful and polite. Received my hood a day later and it was super clean!!! Highly recommend!!!!!
Do not purchase anything from this company. I purchased a front bumper cover from them through a retail distributor. It took them over a month to fabricate the item and when it arrived it was not even close to properly fitting my car. Through the retail distributor I sent several pictures that indisputably showed that the bumper was defective. It took Extreme Dimensions weeks to review my complaint and when they finally did they refused to admit that what they sent me was defective. Despite making such a low quality item, they refused to issue a refund. I have since filled a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. The company appears to not care if they are reported to the Better Business Bureau. This is probably due to the fact that they have so many complaints filed against them, that they are used to it.
Don’t buy anything here!!!I bought a carbon fiber diffuser for a Lexus IS 250 f sport from gr1 performance who bought it from extreme dimensions. Look at the picture to see the issue. When I called gr 1 he says extreme needs to authorize a refund before gr1 can refund my money.so I play the game , send pictures etc. I then call extreme direct and right away the employee knew exactly what I was talking about, where the issue was. Tried telling me that once I removed the reflectors the diffuser would fit under the reflectors. Then he says I have to shave that area off, if I do that then the carbon fiber look would not be seen which takes away from the look and what I paid for. So just like all the other reviews, don’t buy from extreme unless you want junk to hang on the wall
In the midst of covid and after they've never changed the power of their customer service, from online orders, to packaging to their flexibility with customer needs in person, on the phone or online...I've purchased from them more than once and then are my only source for the quality and service I look for...
one of the worst companies to deal with . They shipped out an hood that was Cleary marked with bad quality control issues they will not give full refund after send them multiply phots of issue they said they would accept the return after got they got the item back they ended up sending me half my money after getting the item back is not acceptable !!!! will never buy anything form them every again . will kept every one away form them . Don't waste yout time or hard earned money with this company !

I will update my review once my bumper comes in. I tell you one thing I'm very nervous about receiving my front bumper for my 1994 Camry. I've looked at some photos, seen bad ones, seen good ones, I've read some reviews, read bad ones, and some more bad ones, and some good ones, I really hope that I'm one of the positive cases, I ordered on 7/04 haven't heard anything yet. Fingers crossed!!! Update!!!! Sorry so late bumper is just perfect!!!! No complaints
Ordered a duraflex body kit for my 97 accord from Andy's Auto Sports and patiently waited for 3 months only to get delivered a body kit that looked like it was made by someone who has no clue on using fiberglass, and no idea about the car its supposed to fit. Even the cutouts aren't cut properly let alone the lack of resin to actually coat the outside of the fiberglass. As a professional body and I had thought I had seen some sad aftermarket parts but this kit proves that those parts were better investments for the money. Im guessing that there is no quality control when it comes to these kits being made.. Its safe to say that I am not impressed and feel like I have been taken for my money. Definitely putting out the word to all the tuners and drifters in my area to avoid anything from these companies.
I purchased Mercedes SLK 55 front bumper and it was totally out of shape. Under the lights was wavy. I took the bumper to deferent bodyshops but no one could fix it. They didn’t accept return and saying bumper was primed. Bumper wasn’t prime just left it in body shop for couple weeks and was dusty.
Finally I ended up buying original. Not recommending waisting time on this product.
One of the few companies selling Tesla parts, but the only company that sells parts for a reasonable price. Purchased a carbon creations CF hood for a Model S and came out perfect. I'm extremely happy with the purchase. Purchased hood through CarID and the transaction went smoothly, got in record time to enjoy over the weekend.
To be honest I was skeptical at first. I have not had great experiences with body kits in the past. When I called I explained my concerns and the sales guy understood and answered a ton of my questions. He was so patient and knowledgeable. I ended up starting with just a front lip. It fit pretty well so I ended up buying the rest of the kit. I'm super happy with everything and my Mercedes looks awesome. Thanks Extreme!
I'm going to say 4 stars because the items were cheap, they are durable, they do look excellent, and they were fairly simple to install. I'm going to take away 1 star from the 5 due to the fact that, it was damaged in one little spot, and they don't come with any "REAL" instructions. I can't be mad about the fact that they were not exact sizes and that I needed to do modifications to the kit that would make it go on my car. It states in the description, "have a body shop install it for you" it also states, "trimming may be required". So for the people that are giving ED 1 star and complaining about the fitment, you'll need to read more into it next time. Luckily I did some body work schooling a few years back so the trimming and modifications to fit was not at all a big deal for me due to my past experience. Do I recommend this product? Yes & No. I'd say "YES" if you are able to except the fact that it needs modifications and you are able to do it yourself, or if you are having a professional install it, "NO" if you don't have too much knowledge in body work without the funds to have it professionally installed. Other sites are available for exact fits, but you'll really be paying the price for them. For the price, I can't complain. As far as the coustomer service issue some of you may have, I've never experienced any issues. So I can't put any input on issues, but they have been great with me. All 4 people I've talked to were excellent and helpful. Hope this helps.
Awesome sales team. Super helpful and even taught me a few things I didn't know about my own car. After being there it's clear they are real car guys. You can tell they love what they do, and the service definitely shows. I'll definitely be coming back when I have more money for parts.
