Came in on a Saturday late morning. It was my first time recycling a LOT of stuff (maybe a few months' worth). I already pre-sorted the basics, but wasn't aware of some of the other stuff that needed to be taken out. Luckily, the 2 guys there were SUPER patient in explaining to me the differences of materials, how we're sorting it, and what they offer for each.
My only gripe is that if you have a large haul and need to park near the sorting area, good luck. The entrance sort of shares the same one with the next door gas station, so it can get clogged if a person is parked. Otherwise, if no one's around, you're good. There is parking in the back if needed
Tell me I had twice as many plastic bottles and aluminum as 2 weeks ago. But I made the same amount of money. I know that the price of cans and bottles didn't go down. Beware, the most honest recycling center is on commonwealth by the gas station by the sinclair gas station.
This place pays less than the recycling down the street. I saw someone doing drugs last time I was there. If you have a car, it's worth a drive a mile down the road.
The best place to do your basic recycling. David is super nice and helpful. There is never a line making it all very quick and easy. Matches competitors prices with proof and you recieve your money right there, no tickets and having to go to a whole different place to get your return. Open late as well, just have to remember he's closed on Tuesdays...
EDIT as of 03/16/17.
David got fired then his awfull replacement got arrested for stealing right from the register within 2 weeks!!! They say they t@ke competition coupons but they never match the price like advertised. Also will only let you count to 50 of each material.
