  It was very crowded and tight. Park on the street to check in. Try to get on the side so traffic can go around. But still able to maneuver. The big truck is gate 2 to get loaded. The small ones use the little gate to deliver. There is a scale to go over before and after loading. You can show up at 6 AM and see about getting loaded. They don't like this. Parking on the street at night.

  Awesome costumer service. Had to ring a bell, but a nice gentleman (Hilberto?)greeted me and helped me with the process and helped with some challenges that came up with the truck information. Leslie continued with the process and was very pleasant and knowledgeable. I felt very welcomed and love the whole transaction and service. Got my $1500.00 check to retire my truck right there and then.

  Best place in OC to recycle ferrous metals such as steel and iron based items. They pay for car batteries too. FYI: Be prepared for potential flat tires. Not common but it does happen because of all the loose scrap on the ground. Best to take a truck or SUV with good tires with lots of tread.

  I first started bringing scrap to S&A about ten years ago & at 3 of their locations it's pretty much easy in & easy out. I haven't experienced being cheated like I have at some other places & the only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is because I don't work for them so there's no way they can be perfect..
