Brought 1996 f250 turbo diesel in for an oil leak. They had to pull the engine and while it was out they suggest other things to repair or replace. It all made sense and when it was finished I have been very happy with the vehicle. Great attention to detail. Would use them again.

Very great experience! I was able to get my window replaced for more than $100 less than I would had I took it to one of those bigger companies. Pricing was fair and accurate with the demands of the job. They even helped coordinate a ride for me back to work so that my car could be worked on during that time. They were very kind and respectful. Will definitely be going back when needed.
They charged me $170 for an engine diagnostic test and then wanted to charge me $800 to get something fixed that other shops quoted me $250. They also tried telling me the part I need is $300 where other shops said max was $50. So do not go here if your looking for an honest mechanic.
My FIL recommended this shop to us. They've helped us a few times when we had issues arise and are friendly, knowledgeable and they don't price gouge. They work efficiently, so you're never without a car for long. I desperately needed to get my car serviced, and they squeezed me in with no appointment. Love this repair shop, it will be the only shop we go to moving forward.
My car started to slow down and putter on Highway 29 as I was approaching St Helena.. I pulled over and called them. Without an appointment, they took me right away. They hooked the car up to diagnostics and took care and trying to find out what was wrong. I was able to pick my car up that afternoon. I appreciate their timely help.
Victor od very helpful and can fix the big range of cars. One missing star is only because the place is small and can be easily overlooked from outside. But once you get there, your car is taken care of. I'll skip the VW dealership in the future. Maria
Not sure if this will help my situation at all but I dropped my car off a week ago for what should've been a simple alternator job. I haven't gotten one call back since they've had my car. No update on what they found, what work needs to be done. Nothing. I really hope my car isn't being stripped for parts or something?
I needed a smog test and was referred to this business because of their integrity. I showed up without an appointment at 4pm and they took my car in quickly. The gentleman doing the service explained how the smog process works with DMV. Very informative, polite, and quick! Great experience!

My son had an issue with his 2001 Toyota Camry V6. The O2 sensor was faulty and seized in the rear exhaust manifold and needed to be replaced to get his car smogged and registered. After filling in Victor on our needs and short time window for the repairs by phone, I dropped his car off on a Monday. The removal of the O2 sensor remained a challenge even for Victor and Ed. Option B was to remove the rear exhaust manifold and possibly replace it to install the new O2 sensor (expensive). Victor was great in his communication with me and his opinion on the options we were facing. End result was they continued to work on removing the O2 sensor without removing the exhaust manifold even though I approved the more expensive route. They saved me money, got the car smogged and even readjusted the hood (damaged from a slight accident). Great service and communication and even were concerned about the cost to us. A rare find of an honest shop who does put the customer first. Thank you Victor and Ed, you have earned our future business!
They're great, I highly recommend them if you need service in the area! I was only passing through and was worried about an issue that popped up on my car... Not only were they were able to help me out quickly but were very honest and kind to me, even advised me about the services I might need in the future and what to look out for. The boss is so friendly and kind. My coworker told me the battery and engine belt are too weak and need to be replaced. The boss suggested to get the oil changed with a full inspection which just costed me 90+ dollars, pretty good deal.
Service is always stellar. The people who work there are friendly and knowledgeable. I have never felt taken advantage of or ripped off. I appreciate their helpful heads up about things my car will need.
Anthony, Victor, and the gang at St Helena Auto Repair provide outstanding customer service, fair prices, and quality workmanship. I have been bringing my Ford F250 and older Audi to them for years and will continue to do so. I highly recommend them.
I brought my Jetta here for repairs in order to pass the smog test after taking it to many other mechanics who were unable to help me. Anthony and his team were extremely thorough in investigating what was wrong without charging me an exorbitant amount for labor. Once they diagnosed the problems (and there were many) they made it so I would pass the smog test but they also identified parts that needed replacing, leaks, etc that were seriously affecting the integrity of my car. Now my car runs a million times better than it did. I was close to getting rid of this car and now I'm confident I will get many many more years out of it.
Overall great experience, and everyone who works here is incredibly professional and friendly.
These guys are great! I needed to have an inspection done right away to sell my car and Ricardo got me right in, thought of extra details that would help me, went the extra mile and got me out in an hour. He's polite, smart and professional.
