Pick-n-Pull JunkYard in American Canyon (CA)

I’ve come to this place with my dad (who doesn’t speak good English) to help translate and every time we come or we call on the phone it seems like they want to help us fast so then they can get ride of helping us, Every time I feel unwelcome and the employees don’t even look happy or sound happy to help you. Never coming here again worst experience

Today I wanted to buy a control module and he was unprofessional and went to ask the manager for a price and when he came back he said that in one module has three parts and wanted to charge me 80$ for one.

Got a paper receipt for return items lost the receipt they don't have no records of my purchase they say they got $50 of my money how can I get it back

“Temporarily closed for construction” today (Sept 10, 2024). Would have been great to know that before I drove 30 minutes to get there. I suggest you call first…

I haven't personally been to this Pick n Pull in years but I have it on good authority that their lot is a disaster just like the Windsor location. Unfortunately they stopped organizing the cars, so in order to find the car you need you have to canvas an entire city block of hundreds of vehicles mixed together. It's absolutely bonkers. The SUV's are with the sedans, the Honda's are with the Chryslers, it's mayhem. Why change something for the worse?? Even the manager agreed it was chaos but "corporate blah blah." I won't be back until they regain some form of sanity.

Oh, Pick-n-Pull—the only place where you can spend three hours covered in grease, busting your knuckles, just to realize you could’ve bought the part brand new for less money at an auto parts store. Who knew rust and sweat had such a high market value? Free advice: check the price before you go on a treasure hunt. Unless you enjoy paying premium rates for “vintage” dirt and the privilege of pulling your own parts like you’re in a post-apocalyptic scavenger mission.

It could use more of a selection of vehicles to pick from, but the ones they do have are loaded and switched out frequently. There prices could definitely improve, I paid $85 dollars for a couple old door handles and the cranking mechanism to roll the driver side widow up "manually" not electric. After getting home I looked up prices for brand new parts and found I could have ordered them all for $48 . The staff is really friendly and the place in it's whole is kept up really well.)

All the employees were super helpful and friendly. Management was calm cool collected gave a great deal on tires. The location was also very clean. Rows and cars were aligned safely with more then enough room needed. 10 stars I dont like American canyon, so I didnt really wanna go. I had a lovely time& I would go back.

Came for two cars that show as available in their system, both were not there when I arrived. Drove an hour. Rude employee said “oh well, if it’s not there, it’s not there”. Update: I can’t make this up, it’s been over a year, and the two vehicles still show up incorrectly on their website. I wonder how many people drove there for them, and how many were told by the rude employees “oh well”….

Avoid the American Canyon location. Took over a month to get paid for two vehicles sold to them... paperwork filled out wrong by clerk at front desk suddenly became my fault. I was never notified of any errors. I called and showed up multiple times to try and get it straight. Got nothing but a run-around from the manager and staff here. I had to contact corporate office several times to finally get checks!

this is the most disgusting pick-n-pull !!! the site lists cars that are actually out of stock! the rest of the cars look good on the website, but in reality they are in a terrible state and do not have a single intact body part due to the fact that apparently incompetent employees deliberately spoil the appearance before putting these cars in line for customers. I hate wasting my time and money! this situation is already several times when I come to your pick-n-pull to no avail and waste my time and money !!!!!

staff lets you wait to "sign in" they charge u full price on parts (used) same as brand new quoted from local parts store. might as well go to a parts store. you are not saving money or time. plus staff could use a lesson in customer service. I would rather go to the pik n pull in fairfield , at least the prices are fair and they dont actually sell junk! 😄

Absolutely bad horrific scam. I have the row52 app. Saw a vehicle came in and went the next day. It only been 1 day 4hrs and the vehicle no where insight. Also came for other vehicle that came in 4 days ago no where insight. Ask the staff little to no help said it was there but it ain't. Check the hole section not he row just in case misplace but the whole section and looked and each vehicle in the section, Also the yard is a complete mess came on (Sunday) I have been to ipull-upull Stockton , Pick-n-pull San Jose, Newark, Stockton, Oakland, Richmond. All have cleaner yard and more helpful staff.

Found what I needed last minute, though I only had 15mins till close, and the staff was not very helpful in me being successful in my search, in fact I believe they intentionally hindered me. Knowing I specified the vehicle I was looking for, gave directions but not the directions I would need walking out of the door to the car's yard, allowed me to head in the opposite direction then I needed to be headed with toolbox in tow.

Very rude service was locked in the yard and not able to purchase my parts I obtained. Was told after the fact that closing time was posted on the website . I believe it is there job to clear the yard (No, my parts were not inside or under a vehicle , I was getting a bracket for a truck bumper) when I apologized for not hearing their closing call I was told they have no closing call. THEY ARE NOTHING LIKE THE FAIRFIELD FACILITY

There's A LOT of parts going through here on a week-in, week-out basis now. Just daily-watch the inventory online and ask whenever you're stopping by when they expect they're getting new deliveries. Then, once your ideal carcass is getting hauled into the lot, don't be slow on that day...

It was great ...had a blast picking & pulling part for my infinity. Ran into a friend from Wingstop. And gave the name of my soon to be friend Monica very sexy,beautiful eyes. But the best is the price and the staff ... very respectful. I be back .. an will tell ppl bout you guys. Thanks

This place is great. I needed a part that is discontinued for my Chevy Tahoe and I went here pulled the part myself with my own tools. All within 20 minutes. Can't beat the prices.

Great place to find a lot of the items for repairs. A large variety of cars and trucks to choose from. Parts are fairly priced and the personal are very friendly and helpful. I definitely recommend this place to any mechanic, handyman or simply car user or driver.

It’s a junkyard, nothing much to say. Just make sure to check on the website if they have a vehicle you’re looking for. I hate that they don’t leave the wheels and tires on the cars in the yard, they could make extra money if they left them on, at least I Pull U Pull in Sacramento leaves the tires and wheels on their cars in the yard.

Do you want try rude people how do they look like then go to Pick n Pull, every store of this company has not helpful and rude employees. Call them and they will tell you something absolutely different about what you will see if you go there.

My life partner, Jerry has been a customer of picknpull since they opened ( usually Richmond yard and occasionally Oakland). We know their policies and haven't ever had a problem. Jerry is a retired veteran, and has been a self- employed mechanic for a very long time. Recently we moved to Vallejo so have been going to the Fairfield yard more. We thought we would check out the new American canyon yard. So he ended up pulling a motor from an Impala for a client of his from this yard for $310 on 10/27. Took it home and installed it. Took the core in on 10/31 (the cashier neglected to return the original receipt of the purchase - although he didn't realize this until days later). The motor ended up having a cracked head, so he took it back to that yard and was expecting to get the credit due him so he could find another motor to replace it but instead got told that he would get a call, which we never recieved ( this was when he realized the receipt was not in his possession anymore). RICHMOND ALWAYS STAPLED THE ORIGINAL PURCHASE RECEIPT TO THE CORE RECEIPT -KUDOS TO RICHMOND!. So, on the next Monday, we took the motor back (again) and asked for Sonny, the manager. And because we didn't have the original receipt ( but we had the core receipt which has a reference to the original receipt's number on it) - he said he couldn't (wouldn't, actually)do anything for Jerry!! We put a complaint in; another one to Schnitzer; contacted the Ethics point company; contacted 7 on your side; no response from anyone!! THIS HELLA IRKS US!! ALL HE WANTS IS THE $280 CREDIT THAT IS RIGHTFULLY HIS!! THE CASHIER IS THE ONE AT FAULT HERE! THERE IS NO WAY TO PROVE THAT, THOUGH. SO THE CUSTOMER LOSES! SO MUCH FOR THE STATEMENTS MADE UNDER THE 'INTEGRITY' PART OF THE COMPANY POLICIES! THIS IS ONLY REGARDING THE PICKNPULL YARD AT AMERCAN CANYON! THEY SUCK!

I was surprised at how clean and well organized this "junkyard" is. The staff was friendly and the website is updated often so you can see what cars are available.

Great place to get used parts. The Row 52 app is a must have for those trying to find out if cars are on site that match what you are looking for.

Won't let people in at 530 when it says it closes at 6 won't give refund when they give faulty parts robbery at it's finest.

Got some good parts for my car people there are great and patient. Amazing junkyard to find what you need for your project car.

Pick n pull is the best place to get any auto parts there staff is great and you can't beat the pricing I give it a 5 star rating every time
