I am writing in to give Itzel in Seaside Californ store an outstanding review! I recently took my 12 yr old son up to see rhe Monterey car show, as we live in SLO. We had anticipated staying the entire week but when we arrived our headlights went out completely. My mechanic brother was giving me advice over the phone that was not working, so we came into the store spoke to Itzel. She helped us troubleshoot what was happening and corrected the issue. I cannot thank her enough or say enough about her based on what she did for us on that day. She probably saved me thousands of dollars in unneeded mechanic bills just based on her knowledge and willingness to help. My son and I will never forget how amazing she was and her willingness to help. I even offered her a tip and she told me that she wasn't allowed so this is the only tip that I can provide. You have an excellent employee that is extremely helpful and very appreciated by your customers! Thank you! That's all! Itzel went way above and beyond my expectations. You have an amazing employee that really should be working in a shop making twice what she is making but I am thankful she was there to help us! Thank you, Angela Viles
They helped us put wiper blades on a rental and made a great recommendation to go to the rental counter at the airport and get a refund for the blades. Wish I would’ve gotten her name because she was so helpful!
If I could give zero stars I certainly would have! My daughter, her husband, their infant son, and 2 large dogs broke down in the parking lot of this store over 8 hours from home and the employees of this store INCLUDING THE MANAGER were horrible to them! Treating them poorly, being unprofessional, and no help at all. Do whatever you can to avoid this business!!
Although I moved out of the area and now live in another state, Franciso told me I could contact the store and ask for him if I ever had any questions. He kept his word. I contacted him after I was having battery trouble and stuck at a local parking lot. He guided me to which battery I should buy at my local Autozone and even advised me to ask if they had a local jump starter which could get me on my way. I don't trust just anyone with my vehicle questions but I am glad I met Francisco back in Seaside and was always helpful whenever I went into the store. I hope he gets the recognition he deserves by management for going beyond in helping customers. Anyone else would have just told me to go kick rocks. Thanks Francisco!
If you need to get your battery charged go to O'Reilly's up the street because these guys had mine for at least 16 hours and they're both dead they can't do this they can't do a simple battery charge you're not reliable
Associate spent the entire transaction talking to other people and walking away from the register. The card reader failed over five times before I had to suggest to move to another register. I haven’t had a worse customer service experience in quite awhile.

I came in this evening for brake/reverse light bulbs. I wasn't sure which bulbs I was supposed to get so I went to the counter and asked for help. The gentleman that helped me out was incredibly helpful! I was a lost duck.. I was originally trying to replace it myself but, had trouble removing the socket. He offered to help replace the lights for me. I am SO BEYOND GRATEFUL for this man. Incredible customer service. Thank you for your help sir!! I apologize for not getting your name. He had a gold hoop nose ring in. He was so nice.
Bad experience when I told the cashier what I was looking for, instead of helping me, he raised his voice as annoying and words in a bad way when explaining to me, what kind of staff is this.
Stopped to buy a battery here and Larry waited on me and my mom. He was knowledgeable, chill, and very helpful. He gave us plenty of options to choose from and explained what the warranties were along with the power given for each battery. Then he went out and helped us put the battery in! Great service!!! I had to get new brake lights for my GMC and the attendant there was very kind and super helpful. He found the lights I needed and even installed them for me! While he installed them he made sure I could see how it do it in the future. The best costumer service I have had in awhile.
I suddenly discovered a nail in my tire and urgently visited the shop to buy a tire repair kit. Larry K quickly found the right item I needed and even introduced me to someone who could help me plug the hole in the tire. Thanks to him, I successfully fixed the tire and safely returned home. What could have been a terrible Sunday ended with a sense of relief, all thanks to Larry K. I am truly grateful for his dedicated, professional, and especially warm-hearted service. I would love to see employees like him working at AutoZone not just on weekends, but throughout the entire week.
Amazing customer service. I was greeted once I walked in by a young man, in which helped me during my trip to autozone. Jr was really helpful and patient while installing my car battery. He explained each step along the way during the battery installment. Not to mention how professional and informative he was. When he finished installing the battery, we headed back inside to do a “core return”. Jr had asked for a manager’s password but it seemed as if they all ignored him. MANAGERS NEED TO BE MORE ATTENTIVE WITH THEIR EMPLOYEES ! Jr kept apologizing for the inconvenience but it was completely fine behalf my part. Overall great experience, but was a bit bummed out by ignorant store management with it’s employee’s.
I will definitely like to award a zero star to the store at Monterey. I ordered a part for my car at the store and got a commitment to receive it the next day at 11 AM. Once visited the store at 12, they said that it's yet not delivered. I paid three visits till I saw the delivery vehicle at the store and once I inquired, they came up with the breaking news (after a long delay) that the part is forgotten and could not made available at that time. For all those three visits, I borrowed the car if my friend and continue to get in que just to listen to their lies. I talked to their in charge and he came out to be the most pathetic person with all his silly logics. I would say that this store is specifically not only with integrity issues but is also not recommended to anyone. I would request someone at some higher level to take notice of the issues (not only mine) with the store.
Dropped a car battery off to be charged for a friend who is broke down. The clerk, a young guy, was very friendly and directly acknowledged my presence walking in to the store. Very clean and organized. Also, claimed the battery would be ready in a few hours. Good deal, works for me.
Super friendly and helpful staff. One of the clerks couldn't quite understand what I needed, so he came outside to get clarification. Then I was taken to the section of item I wanted. Professional and knowledgeable service.
Like any place it is mainstream and heavily advertised AutoZone is one of these places but the staff they're overworked beyond all belief is very nice very kind and very helpful I appreciate every time I've ever asked them for their assistance and order to charge my battery I've never had a problem and if you're looking for something for your car or you might have some questions they are knowledgeable and they might be able to help you and they are open later on the weekdays and for you to get parts for your vehicle or any kind of cleaning supplies you might need to wash your vehicle or available there and they have a lot of different kind of stickers and lighting options for your car it's kind of interesting I think I'm very much for the time
I have always had good experiences at AutoZone, with fair prices, good discounts, warranties, and really good customer service.
Jesse R helped me out about a week ago, and made getting a new car battery very quick and easy. He was knowledgeable, respectful, and even offered to install the car battery for me (so I didnt have to dig through my set of tools for the right wrench!). He also ran a quick diagnostics test to ensure my alternator was working properly and it was just the battery that needed replacing.
Seems like a very hard worker from what I gathered of our fairly brief interaction! Thank you!
I went there on 11/23/18 about 10 minutes before they closed. I was greeted by both of the employees on duty, They were very sincere and courteous. I told him what I came in for and he showed me to the proper section. He came back with all the info o needed. So I purchased my items and he installed them into my car without breaking a sweat.
They were great. I was going to get rid of some chemicals, and I didn't know what to expect since I had never done this before. I have my wallet out expecting to pay for the service, and the lady took my bucket, cheerfully disposed of the various ingredients, and returned it to me. Free of charge and a very delightful attitude. Exceedingly refreshing since nowadays a person can spend plenty of money on a meal and not even get a hint of a cheerful attitude.
Their customer service is awful. I've seen them be rude, and deny service to customers who were respectful. Their computers didn't work. I had to move to 3 different computers and insert my card 5 times before it would work. Their prices are okay, but not worth it for how bad the service was.
