I got to the recycling spot at 3:30 and another person was just finishing. The man told me, “ Oh I’m sorry we are closed.” It was 3:30 on the dot but there was no closed sign….i saw that sign up when I got back about 10 minutes later. I had been there and he could have taken my recycling. I wish I could close my doors at my work on the dot. I asked very politely if he could take them and he said no….:Also, your hours here say 4:00. So an update on your website is in order.
Just got back from taking my plastics and cans. The guy there did not even weigh my items properly . As soon as he put each container on the scale he took off before there was a final reading on the weight, especially on my aluminium cans. The numbers were still going forward as he removed the containers. This guy cheated me of the total amount I should have received. He gives you whatever he feels like giving you. He ignored me when I mentioned what I observed him doing. If you go try and weigh your items yourself. Another thing he did not provide a receipt for my items weighed and the amount paid. At the other stations they tell you how much each weighs and they give you a receipt. I will never go to this one again. He was a very rude man too.
Beware, they close earlier than their posted hours. I arrived at 3:45 with a posted closing time of 4:00… the employee said they were closed and not taking any more returns. Except for the unpredictable hours, they’re generally quick and easy to deal with.
I went to the recycling center located in the parking lot of Star Market. George was very informative, helpful, prompt and efficient! Thank you very much!

Fast, efficient, usually stop to drop off on my way to work. I separate before I go to speed things up. Get cash that I can use to put into the salvation red buckets or handouts when needed.
