Called for a battery they said they had however when I showed up it wasn’t the correct one the then the sales rep at the counter was either extremely not knowledgeable about vehicles or was trying to upsale me . I required a basic battery for a 1500 truck . He insisted these vehicles needed AMG batteries over 850 cc . As someone who works with vehicles I found this disappointing if someone elderly or who is not sure what they need would have spend 3x what they needed to . Vehicle manufacturers recommend 700-850cc DEPENDING ON WHERE YOU LIVE HENCE CCA Cold cranking amps we live somewhere it never drops lower then 50 degrees . Walmart gave me what I needed with a 3 year warranty 760cca only 116$ your boy wanted to sell me a 289$ battery .
My experience with interstate battery was very bad, my battery died one week after the warranty expired, I took the battery and the receipt to the warehouse. They refunded to replace it or giving me a discount on another one. It was like they programmed the battery to die immediately after the warranty expired, I will definitely not buy or recommend anyone to buy batteries from interstate

Good place to buy a battery. They are friendly and allowed me to use their tools to replace my car battery on the spot. In addition they allowed me to use their jump start system so the vehicle will not lose the memory when I unplug the old battery. Thank you
Update almost at 2 years March 15th 2023 this battery that I purchased died on me. I was able to get my vehicle jump started I went over to Interstate Batteries and they replaced my battery for free since it was under warranty no hassles they tested it checked that it was bad and replaced thank you very much staff member CARLOS!!!!
Interstate makes has great batteries. I called here looking for a cheap used battery for a project vehicle. They had one in stock. I made it there just before closing and they were quick to help and friendly.

Both my dad and I both are disabled seniors.
The AAA person that came and jumped dad's car at the doctor's office was very helpful, but we had an F48 battery not a F47.
I called Interstate Battery before we left the doctor's office and they seemed very understanding.
After finding Interstate Battery they had me pull the car in and shut it off. They replaced it with an F48 Interstate Battery. Knew enough to attach the trickle charge to the system so the computer, clock, accessories didn't have to be reset.
All in all, they were very professional in the replacement of the battery in dad's car.
I would recommend them if you are in need of a battery.
Not sure about the other shops, but 20 Sun Street Salinas gets a big thumbs up from this old man who grew up with people who provided quality service. This is one of those places, and we need more like them.
These guys are good almost too good seems like they've been there for a while and they don't really give a s*** about anything unless it has to do with selling your battery. But they're cool and they let me use the restroom
Great experience. Pulled up with a battery that was dying. They tested...installed a replacement battery and I was on my way. There was a short wait as they were busy but not more than 15 minutes. Considering I just drive up that is wonderful.
Had been suggested by another auto shop that my battery might be bad, causing some current problems, so I went here for confirmation. I had purchased my replacement battery from them less that two years previous. They were quick to test fully, clean, reseat cables, show that battery was producing even more than advertised power. Needed to replace my RV deep cycle battery for my house battery. Busy day there so manager helped me out. When I asked for a blem he showed me two but said it would be 30 minutes to install. I asked him how much install was and he said no charge. I put the battery in and paid $32. Yeah, I'll go back there every time I need a battery.
The guys were the best. Went beyond their duties to help get new battery in and car up and running! Just make sure they check the battery life if you're purchasing a used one.
