What excellent service! I used my AAA insurance to help with a lock out, and the driver got here in less than 10 minutes! Door was unlocked quick, and the driver was so polite and professional! I highly recommend using their services!!! I’m completely satisfied and happy for all their help!!!
Vincent was such a pro. Had the starter out and was stuck at a TB parking. Unfortunately there were some rude people that did not understand my situation. Lucky Vincent got the car secured and towed pretty fast. Would recommend. Thank you again.
Only four stars because there was a problem with dispatch or something I think they forgot about me and had me waiting for 2 hours when I was told it would only be 30mins-1 hour so I had to call them after an hour for an update. The driver, I think his name was Juan Carlos, was very nice and wasn’t mad when I confused him three times about where I was parked. He was very fast, careful and thorough. Even taught me some things and made me want to become a tow truck driver. Also learned his job consists of long hours, dirty jobs, and frustrating people. He seems like a very hard worker, I’m very thankful he helped me tow my car.
I have used them 2 times and I had no issues at all customer service is literally A1 they make it so easy for you and take care of everything would be using them again !
The good: they showed up quickly, at night. They loaded and tied down very good.
The bad: good thing he tied our car down so well. the guy drove like a maniac the entire way. He drove and off loaded like his house was on fire and he had to get to it. The distance was farther than our service would pay for so we had a surcharge. He would only take cash.

Frame was 58 Minutes when she called we were waiting well past 58 minutes. She overheard my very frustrated son say a curse word in the back ground, due to us being in an unsafe location(basically in the road ) which she was talking to me not my son on the phone . She blew up at me about my son (in the background) she was yelling at me wouldn’t let me speak until I raised my voice at her, telling her we were not in a safe location. She continued to scream at me saying she didn’t have to listen and in fact she would be canceling the call. Waiting an 1 1/2 hours in a dangerous situation and going to be another hour, and somehow she was the victim. Not one ounce of concern for our well being /safety or the fact that we have been a Aaa customer for over 30 years. I filed a complaint with AAA and they said that some times they have recordings of calls. I hope that AAA gets it and this girl gets reprimanded for the way she treats people!

Bad service. Hung up after I asked if they towed vehicles that aren’t designated to the parking spot, she then stated there was no drivers available at the moment. I understood. Before I could talk she hung up. I called again and she had me “holding” for more than 15 minutes. I just needed to ask her when is her driver will be available. I got referred to this service company so I’m not quite happy, I was expecting better service. Her name is Leslie, Salinas Garage Towing, make sure your employees get you the money you’re hungry for.
I'd rate Salinas Garage Towing zero stars based on 4-5 calls in three hours. The tow was for my father who is 76 years old and his car. Initially, they gave me a 30 minute window to show up with a flat bed. I got a call from the dispatcher lady that they couldn't make it after all and she said they were too busy to go on a long-distance tow on a flatbed and that the best she could do was store it until Monday or tow it with a regular tow truck. My dad said fine we will tow it with a regular truck. Called her back and with an even bigger attitude she said they didn't have a regular truck either. Basically, they didn't want to tow long distance.
Her response was dismissive: "You're going to have to find someone else." Resorting to contacting AAA, I was informed that she needed to authorize the job's release. However, when I called to ask her, she initially claimed she didn't get any release or any AAA notification. After a lengthy and frustrating exchange, she eventually confirmed the release, but not before wasting three hours of valuable time. Do they get paid for storage or what?
What was most disappointing was her entitled demeanor and lack of professionalism. Fortunately, I found prompt assistance and exemplary service with Salinas VALLEY Towing. They were courteous, efficient, and a stark contrast to the prior encounter. For anyone seeking reliable towing services, I wholeheartedly recommend Salinas VALLEY Towing.

Wouldn’t give me her name and kept interrupting me saying I interrupted her and didn’t even get the answers I called about some questions I had regarding their towing cars at our apt bldg where there’s no parking for handicapped to unload groceries etc(very limited parking for tenants even) manager said we can park on red while unloading then we need to move our cars to assigned space
Called for a tow @11am was told it was going to be one hour waited two hours called them back and was told it was gonna be 35 minutes going and now I’m in hour #3 and have yet seen the tow truck come by worst service in the entire industry

Very rude woman taking calls. I was lied to about when truck would get here and after waiting 3½ hours when I called again they said truck had been here and left AFTER they told me the driver would call on arrival. VERY VERY Rude and ruined my whole day. NEVER use these hacks!

I got a flat tire on the way to a Dr. Appointment and needed some help getting the spare on so I called AAA. We were told it would be an hour. 2 hours later Carlos pulls into the driveway. We live on property of a business so I asked him if he could back up into the large turnaround instead of blocking the road. He told me no, and attempted to start loading my car onto the flatbed. I asked what he was doing and he told me I need to take the car off property to change the tire. I said no, can you please just back up so your aren't blocking the road and help me change my tire. He kept insisting he needed to land the car on the flat bed. When I said no he said " fine I'm canceling this order and you can do it yourself" and then left. Whe we called the shop the person we spoke to said he was telling them something else. We offered to provide video evidence that he was lying and she finally agreed to send a different driver. Jason arrived less than 10 minutes later and was awesome! 5 stars for Jason. 0 stars for Carlos.
I got a flat tire yesterday evening on the freeway and due to my spare tire not being compatible with the vehicle I needed a tow. I was thirty miles from home and needed to get to a nearby Firestone ASAP as it was a Saturday evening and every other shop had already closed for the weekend. However, my driver who had been giving me attitude throughout the whole transaction for simply having to do his job as a tow truck driver which is to tow my vehicle, informed me I had to get out and wait for another tow truck as he had another vehicle he had to assist. I was left in a dangerous section of highway for hours as AAA's only servicing company for the area was Salinas Garage amd they refused to come assist. I was forced to take an Uber home and wait over 4 hours for my vehicle to be delivered, when I could have gotten it taken care of that same hour if I could've just been towed to Firestone. If you don't want to tow customers cars who are in need you should probably find a different profession!
On 7/2/22 my son and I drove to Salinas to purchase a car. Unfortunately, the car needed a bit more TLC then anticipated. Due to a severe rodó knock I opted to have the car towed back home. We have AAA so there shouldn't have been an issue.
Boy was I wrong... We got into town close to 7 am. Had bought the car and called for a tow before 8am. We were put through to Salinas Garage towing. At first soneone was supposed to meet us, pick up the car and start the 4 hr drive back with us leading the way. Then after several attempts plans changed again. Now the tow truck was picking up the car and taking it back to the tow lot. Where he was unloading it until 10 am. At 10 was when they had more drivers starting shifts. That's when the car would be loaded back on the truck and brought to us. That didn't happen either. They picked up his car and held it. When I called at 11 to make sure it was on its was, I was informed it was still in their yard and wouldn't be leaving until later that week. I was also now being told that the trip was 218 miles and AAA only covered 200. The lady on the phone told me i was being charged $270 for those 18 miles. That money had to be paid before they would do anything else with the car. I asked the woman why wasn't I told about this fee before. I find it convenient that they were now holding my son's car hostage. When I asked to speak with this womens supper, she raised her vwoice above mine. Pretending not to hear me. I don't like being forced like that. Also, had they informed us of the 18 miles, my son could have driven it like 25 miles closer so that would have sovled it.
I was forced to give my card before driver would even load the car back up. The car arrived at almost 8pm it should have been delivered by 2. When I asked what took so long he said he took a windy back road way. I asked why he told that way and I was told traffic. Only thing is there wasn't traffic. I looked myself earlier. Worst tow company I've ever come across (EVER).
Cancelled our AAA service after we received a call informing my sister they didn’t allow passengers in the vehicle, my sister never got upset, yet the “supervisor” hung up on her. And I called back to make a formal complain only to have the “supervisor” yell at me and cuss in the background, for telling her that hanging up on a customer who hadn’t finished talking was rude, and that all we wanted was a formal complaint for the lack of professionalism. Looking at these reviews I noticed they are really unprofessional most of the time, and AAA should not work with them because if a customer was stuck in the middle of the road, these people and their inability to better their services, would be an inappropriate fit! Posting this to warn other customers, cause clearly they rather continue to not be professional with their customers.

Even after letting Vince know I was preoccupied with other things on my mind, he insisted on sharing his opinion on a lot of matters that were of absolutely no concern to him at all. I just wanted him to change my tire, not the loud music blasting in the parking lot of my work or any of his opinion on what a real truck is. I would not choose Salinas Garage Towing but ended up with them through AAA.
The only thing that I can think of that makes them not get 5 stars is for the amount of business they do, they're not tesla certified to tow or service tesla vehicles. Which you would think they'd try to corner the market on this side of Monterey County.
Salinas garage towing was there to tow my sports car when the starter went out (2003 g35 coupe ) my car had a aftermarket bumper that made it difficult to get onto the tow truck bed . The tow truck operator that helped me was Vince this operator was safe ,and knew what he was doing and was verry attention to detail noticed my sun roof was open , and is low friendly for anyone needing an trust worthy service all around . 5/5 stars for attention to detail and would definitely come back !!
I stupidly locked my keys in the car today and called AAA. I was told my wait would be approximately one hour, but Alex Hernandez arrived within 10 minutes. It took him only a couple of minutes to unlock my car, which I appreciated, but I really wanted to mention how professional, friendly, and kind he was. If more people were like Mr. Hernandez, it would be a better world.
They never showed up. I waited from 730pm til 4am out on Ft Ord & no one ever showed up. Dispatch said it was out of their hands. Straight b.s. Not even the decency to call & tell me he decided not to come out. When I tried calling the driver it would ring twice & then he would forward it!! HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. THANKS FOR LEAVING ME STRANDED OUTSIDE MY CAR ALL NIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF 1 OF THE CREEPIEST PLACES TO BE!!!! WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE.
My car was towed from the apartment I live. It costed 320.00 to get my car out. Was upset how they pulled my car. Towed it from Salinas to Prundale. Called and talked to Dave. Now my 350 Nissan pulls to the left. That night 5 cars were towed. They have a new contract with the apartments i live in. Dave said he is just doing his job. That my car wasn't injured during the tow. It could be a flat tire. He is making a profit off low income housing residents.
Triple A quoted me 4 hours on a Monday afternoon... i called Salinas Garage Towing and asked if they accepted triple A and had anyone in my area.. they did! And sent him out immediately....Dave if you're reading this I would've married you but you're taken jk.. he said to say that thank you very much! Amazing service.
