Horrible customer service
I was told over the phone I could recycle a certain metal and when I get There the manager, all he said was no! And walked away good way to show professionalism, and horrible customer Service
I can't believe this place sometimes. I get it if homeless bring and leave shopping carts. But this is not the case. I come in there everyday almost. And one day I had to much to carry by hand so I used a shopping cart to bring in all the stuff just to find out there new policy is they will not except anything from you because they consider the shopping basket stolen property. Really well news flash people it s not stolenunless it's reported Smart guys and
They wouldn't take my heavy metal because one guy said it looked like rail road metal... no rail road stamp and not spikes or tracks not railroad we were weighing it some guy came up I told him I do steel buildings this is rusted left overs from that even had me show him proof I worked putting up steel building I did and still sent me on my way had to load up 455 lbs after unloading next place paid better for heavy metal anyways.
Yes! for starters they are rude there. If your not a people person you shouldn't work. My son like to recycle to earn a little extra cash and they take that from him is ridiculous. Just make sure to check you receipt before you leave, they'll get you. Thumbs down in my book from now on.
Bad customer service do not help you with the cans. there’s a bald guy there with a bad attitude.
They stand there looking at you needing help they don’t help, I think rob your weight of the cans in bottles. They pay low ! Avoid this place ?
Old lady is rude as f/=[. They told me I needed a shot (vaccination) to recycle there. No wonder the homeless people tried to burn that place to the ground. $<=÷ that old lady and her business. Rude bi#%$.
Always great, best to come with all items separated. Remember, clear glass is separate from dark glass. I always tip guys a couple bucks for helping, being there.
The staff is extremely rude and disrespectful! I had 2 bags of recycling and was separting them into the bins plastic and cans the guy came over after he wanted me separate them in the bins and said we cant take them because you separated them here. He then grabbed the 2 bins and emptied them onto the bed of my truck mixing them all up. I then went to talk to the owner which is the old hag in the office and she simply said that's too bad you shouldn't separate them here.

Very important to remember separate and divide cans bottles plastic prior to showing up in the warehouse do to COVID.
I weighted and sorted my recycle cans, glasses and plastics before hand. The guys there was nice in all but they didn't separate the difference type of can and plastics i have took there. Meaning.. what the point of separating and sorting if you're just going to combine them. Example, aluminum can is not the same as bi-metal can. There's a different in price.
At first I was unhappy. Then they told me I had to put it in my car. And get in line. It was a very long line. I had been going on one hour. It was very to me. In a sling. Had surgery on may 18,2020.I asked for help? I didn't know they were shorten staff.
Went here to recycle from my job, guys didnt even tell me exactly where to go/what to do, they were just standing around, except for one good man who helped me with a bobcat to move all my recyclables out of the way, & apparently I didnt have my tires on the scale right ( which I did not know I had to do! First timer) so they just gave me $10 for more than 30 items of recycables. Next time dont just stand around, actually help cause not everyone has been there before. If you wana get ripped off & bad service this is the place.
If you want to be treated with disrespect, and then questioned repeatedly about the load your drop, then please go for this place.
What an awful experience.
This place sucks. Careful they will rip you off. The guys who weigh the cans. Seem to be cashing in on some recyclables they say that they don't pay anything for but they will take them while working. Tried them out again they are horrible prices suck.
Slowest recycling center in Merced by far. Worst customer experience, employee's on the recycling line constantly joking and playing around. They're whole operation is backwards they show and prove customers don't matter at all. Until they get people that can work better and faster and not rude i will not be comin back here again!
