It was easy to find. The employees were friendly and helpful. It's better to recycle metals and get money as opposed to paying to dump the same material.
We've been taking our recycling here for the past year and we have had no problems. There is a lot of room and the people are nice. It's usually pretty quick.
This is my "go to" recycling center. It is relatively clean, organized, and speedy. The open area seems to keep the bad odors associated with recycling centers down and the staff are helpful and friendly.

Never had a problem. Took my scrap , left with money in hand. I believe new customers need to wait a few days if it's copper wire they scraped.. No big deal . we all know why that is.
Very nice place. The workers help the customers with the separation and place the recycling in the correct bins. I left very satisfied and will continue to go there. I always let others know about this place. It's the best one in Merced.
Great place until you walk up to the window where you’re greeted by this rude old mean LADY ! She needs to get off her phone and pay attention to the customers !!
I love this recycling center. It is so clean and the staff are always friendly and willing to help if you need it. They are very efficient and the cost is good too! I always recommend this place to anyone who asks me where the BEST recycling center is.
First time? 1.Pull up to warehouse 2.Grab the appropriate bins and roll them to your car 3. Separate your recycling into bins 4. Roll bins to warehouse door and wait your turn 5. Go inside where a worker will weigh out your recycling. You will be given a paper with weight and $$ 6. Go outside and stand in line at cashier window where you will receive your cash. 7. Go buy beer and start the recycling journey all over again.
First time there it was empty. Minimal speaking, weighed the material and I was out of there. Second time around I made a recommendation and took someone with me. With a long line I went to the front to grab baskets and begin loading cans, bottles etc. Once in the front I didn’t see any empty baskets and an employee approached me and said “you looking for baskets? WELL GET IN LINE!”. With the obvious look of annoyance and frustration due to the amount of people there, he saw it fit to yell at a potential returning customer. I simply walked away, and did get in line, in line to leave as fast as I came in. Word of mouth travels far beyond this review ever will. Sad to have to put this place on a “screw that place” list.
Do not waste your time with them i brought in 2 working dryers, 2 lawn mowers, three 9 hp engines, all together 490lbs of scrap. They paid 6 freaking dollars and called it a "tin mix". DO NOT GO HERE. Unless you like to get ripped off. Wasn't even worth the gas.
