I recently just got off the phone with Fernando. It’s about 7:50 p.m. local California time. Obviously after folks have a long day pretty amazing to get incredible service. He helped me find the right part number on a power steering pump. He went and beyond. We exchanged phone calls twice on the same part.
I thought I would bike over to the store as my work truck is down to get the part I thought was right. He let me know that the part that I wanted to get was probably not the correct one and that he would for sure order the correct one, but I was welcome to come over anyway if I wanted to. On his advice, I double checked the specific way the power steering line bent and discovered he was right that the part in stock would not have worked so he saved me a trip and gave excellent service. Highly recommend him. I rarely leave reviews but had to in this case. Thank you.
I needed some door panel clips for my venerable van. It's a cheap part ($20) and I had no loyalty to O'Reilly or any other auto parts shop, but I stopped in to the Marin City store because it was on my route. It turns out there is a dizzying array of potential door panel clips, and the vendors do not make it easy to select the right one.
Karene kindly spent about 20 minutes with me, examining my sample part, measuring door hole sizes, going over all of the possibilities on the computer, and ordering them for delivery the next day. Other staff in the store also pitched in with advice.
Perhaps not economic for O'Reilly if you are looking at it from the perspective of a single transaction, but much appreciated by the customer!
I came in for windshield wipers and Fernando was amazing and so helpful he was able to show me how to install them. We need more people in this county like Fernando.

This is by far the friendliest store . I shop at San Rafael and on Geary in San Francisco.
Honestly all stores are great , but the last two times I went to Marin City , I had odd request for older vehicles .
The staff spends a good amount of time researching my request and looking until the correct items are found.
The Manager and assistant are superb.
This store will be my go to and I will recommend it to all my friends .

I went to this store and Seledin provide the best customer service that we had, he helped to use the read the scaner codes and he also provide solutions in case we need them. My husband and I felt so appreciate with his customer service.
Customer service here is awesome! Got hooked up with a price match for motor oil, next day came back with the old oil and filter and they took it to dispose of. Had a great experience both times, staff are very nice and helpful!
Excellent service, Daryl was patient and took his time to diagnose the problem with my Jeep battery. He went above and beyond. I usually feel overwhelmed to have to go to an auto part store, this time it was different. I am definitely bringing all of my business to Daryl.
Always helpful! Fernando was great! Initially I went to Autozone, To recycle a car battery. autozone told me they could not recycle the battery. Fernando at O'reilly's took the battery for me and gave me a $10 store credit where I bought many items for my car.
Raced over here after finding that one of my headlamps was not functioning while traveling on dark, winding roads. O’Reilly in Sausalito was one of the few places open at 7:30 AM on a Saturday. Fernando not only determined the correct part, he graciously installed it after verifying that it could be done easily and swiftly, as he was the only one in the store at the time. It turned out that both my high beams and my low beams had spent or damaged bulbs, so he took care of both. I really appreciate his help and his knowledge. He was friendly and responsive, and I can’t thank him enough.
I went one night and the guy was rude and had Darrel hold a part and he wouldn't look it up or anything he said Darrel isn't hear and can't help me I think his name is will white guy at night SHOULD BE FIRED EVERYONE ELSE WAS VERY VERY HELPFUL TO ME THANKS GUYS
Manager Fernando could not have been more helpful. He found every part. Searched details for my repair needs before i could ask. Referred me to trusted mechanics. I’ll be recommending the new Marin City/Sausalito O’Reilly’s branch to everyone for their car parts and professional needs.

This is the best O’Reilly ever! Jack is incredibly knowledgeable and the entire staff is very helpful. It is wonderful to have them in the neighborhood. I’ve been in a few times now and every time is 5 stars or above!
Went in with a friend to see if they could check the battery, alternator, and starter. Fernando accomplished all three test and offered to call a regular customer nearby that could check the starter. I worked in customer service for 25 years and Fernando offered superb customer service. I am going to call his manager and Corporate Customer Relation to report our pleasure with Fernando's assistance.

🔴BUT the O'Reilly store next to the freeway in San Rafael is among the worst help I've ever known. Sandra and the management SHOULD BE FIRED.
Great store! Great location. Walked in on it's grand opening day and the nicest most helpful young man by the name Fernando helped with what i needed today. He is so kind and helpful. Will be coming in again in the future.
