Picked up my car in December 29th, 2025 and forgot to send the check with tow truck driver, driver called Pick N Pull and I verified my address over the phone they said they would mail it. Two weeks later it's January 13th, 2026 I call and keep getting transfered around because "I can't help you wrong dept". Lady tells me my check is at the yard it wasn't mailed as promised when tow truck driver called two weeks prior. Asked if I wanted to drive nearly an hour for pick up, now I have to wait several more weeks for maied check because someone didn't do their job two weeks ago and mail it when I was on the phone with them verifying the mailing address.

I find it absolutely crazy to ask a customer to please check-in then. Ask, what vehicle are you looking for not answer? Tell them it's $4 per person to go in. Take payment and then say we don't have that vehicle here. And then point to the sign that says, all sales are final. I didn't buy anything. Wouldn't it be more customer friendly to say? Hey. How can I help you when you look in anything for anything particular? When the customer says the vehicle, he's looking for you. Can reply after you check? Your system has happened. And let the customer know before he pays admission. If a vehicle is even on the yard, horrible, horrible, business practice. I get it, it's picking pool, not me.Macy's, but it seems like a swindler tactic

The gps says it close at 6pm I got there and the guy said he close the yard a 4pm

Staff here has made this the least desirable picknpull in the Bay Area. I’ve spoken to management (corporate), the store is struggling. Current local manager: a joke; allows employees to threaten/talk down to customers at register or out in the yard. If pick n pull is in your need, any other location around will be easier for you the customer to be at. Price wise & safety/friendliness. I have received violent threats from staff members here multiple times while just trying to spend money with them. 2024’, now 2025’. They remove you 45min before closing, but will keep register open till end of day/last second. They will break your bag/boxes going through your tools during “inspection” going in or going out of the facility.

Extremely jacked pricing wanted almost 200 dollars for a a throttle body that is 70 online for the same thing oem. Stupid amount of over charging for wanting to reuse and not buy new parts.

The staff at Pick-n-Pull made the process of using the Bay Area District Vehicle Buyback Program absolutely worth it. They were organized, helpful, and made everything go smoothly from start to finish. Like anything, being prepared made a big difference — because I had my paperwork ready, the entire process took less than two hours. I was able to recoup $2,000 for my vehicle without needing to smog it, haggle with buyers, or deal with the stress of a private sale. Everything was handled efficiently and professionally, and I couldn’t be more grateful for how easy they made it. A big thank you to the team for their help and for keeping the process as quick and straightforward as possible!

They wanted an entrance fee just so I could confirm the part I wanted was still on one of their junked cars. I might as well just get what I need on eBay.
Oct 11, 2025 -
Wouldn't get an interchange list without taking my money! On top of that they still didn't have any compatible vehicles
Sep 23, 2025 -
They charge the same as the new price for the used part that you have to take off the vehicle yourself. How does that add up?? Literally the new price for old parts ... And environmental fee they have to pay the state they charge the customer. No thanks

Larrissa was so incredibly helpful when we took our old vehicle in to retire recently. She went above & beyond in helping me navigate how the program works, she was very patient, and super knowledgeable throughout the process. Give the girl a raise , she was running the show while I was there, very admirable to see. Thank you!!

The guy thats tall with glasses doesn't know what he talking about. After asking about a car compablity he jumps in with his 1 cent that was even close to true.

There wasn't much to pick from, and the website definitely isn't current with their available inventory on the lot. Everything is very scattered with no type of organization. It's very disappointing...

i retired my '77 toyt pickup 11/13/24 and got 1.5K... the extremely competent lady processed the huge batch of required paperwork in record time...its the only northbay location available and i highly recommend it...everyone was great, grazie..

The towing company they use to pick up the vehicle is extremely rude and disrespectful. Complete disregard for customer service, then tell you that they will refuse to take your car if you call them out on it. Beware doing business unless you have immense patience and don't mind being talked down to.

Vehicle shown in inventory today, not present, asked front desk staff about it and was told "it was placed a year (10 months) ago, it's definitely gone". No "oops, here's your four bucks back", just silence and looking at me like I'm an idiot for believing the inventory log.

We have been doing business with this Pick and Pull for years. We have built a really strong relationship with the staffing here. Ken was our original car buyer and we were very sad when we got assigned a new one. However they definitely found the right buyer for us, Erik. He’s very personable, prompt with his bidding and he does his absolute best with pricing to reflect on the current scrap prices. Every-time one of our drivers deliver cars, they always come back with a smile on their face because the crew in production are always there to great and help if needed. Lurisa in the office always welcomes my drivers with a smile and a professional conversation. I would give their current employees, on the purchasing side, 10 stars if we could. Keep its up Windsor PNP crew!

I always have a good experience with the car buyers here. They are friendly and outgoing. Lurisa in the office really knows her paperwork and will always walk you through anything that is needed.

This has to be the worst place to drop cars at, they pay the lowest prices around, never good customer service, they find out who the cars belong to and try and call them directly cutting you out, I hope they get new staff and get this place back under control.

Don't buy it unless you absolutely sure you need it cuz there's no refunds just store credits and they're not very helpful. But it is a junkyard so I guess you get what you pay for. And the inventory is minimal on older vehicles. Most everything's been picked clean.

Unfortunately they stopped organizing the cars, so in order to find the car you need you have to canvas an entire city block of hundreds of vehicles mixed together. It's absolutely bonkers. The SUV's are with the sedans, the Honda's are with the Chryslers, it's mayhem. Why change something for the worse?? Even the manager agreed it was chaos but "corporate blah blah." I won't be back until they regain some form of sanity.

Worst Customer service. Bought something 5 minutes later I come back to return because it's the wrong part. won't let me in. it's 530 pm. closing time is 6 pm. would have taken 3 minutes to return. Same thing has happened before. staff was rude. Kid picking up the things to close was rude. Feels like you are pulling teeth to get any assistance with anything.

This was my first time going to a pick n pull, and I read a lot of the reviews before I went to get a sense of what I'm getting myself into. I tried calling the number on Google and it rang for 2 minutes before disconnecting. The Pick N Pull website was very helpful in finding what car I was looking for and if they have any in stock. Once I got there, I was expecting much worse customer service considering the reviews I read. The people there, although not enthusiastic, were very helpful for someone who's never been to a pick n pull before. After they gave me a map and the cars I was looking for. You are pretty much on your own at that point. When you are there you always run the risk that you won't find what you are looking for, and I knew that going in. Thankfully I was able to find what I was looking for and only paid a total of $9 for the entire trip.

This company is a joke unless you live within a certain distance they will not help you even though they say they will. I personally dealt with Rachel who told me that she could come pick up my car for $260 and then when getting back on the phone with the company Do you give them the rest of the information about the car they told me that the car is not within tow distance and they can’t help us

DON'T EVER BUY TIRES FROM PICK-n-Pull! For that matter don't even waste your time going for parts. Limited inventory, admission charge to find out they don't even have your vehicle, rude staff, aisles limited with garbage, old parts, and other "things" you don't even want to know about. Bought tires. All looked visually good enough to temporarily replace the ones for a recently purchased used car. Took to my tire guy to install - he refused to install one of the tires. THE 19 YEAR OLD TIRE! Got another tire to get mobile. Learn the tire codes - I sure did, the hard way. Took the tire back 1 day later and Hector (the manager) refused to help. I thought that since they were committing a misdemeanor (AB 949) that surely I could get a refund or at least a store credit. NOPE. Only option was to exchange for another tire THAT I NO LONGER EVEN NEEDED! Looked for other tires, but nothing without nails (seriously!), already shredded (seriously), or the right size. When I asked for a resolution, he said I'd need to go to another Pick-n-Pull. REALLY? Fairfield is 41 mi. each way, Vallejo is 57 mi. I don't know where Hector buys his gas, but I usually pay over $6 a gallon. Took the tire and receipt and left. It was $24 with tax for the garbage tire that I now have to pay to dispose of, plus the wasted time & gas to go back again for nothing. Weak!!

Nice and convenient junkyard, well staffed and laid out as most are in the chain. Wasn't busy when I was there but I can see that it could be a wait to get in or out. Seems like people are respecting the rules and closing hood and not leaving a huge mess, which is nice. Portapotties were usable, even clean by outdoor standards.

Not happy. Set up for pick up for my SUV between 8am to 12pm. Took morning off at work. No call, now show. I called at 12:15. Dispatch could not reach tow truck driver. She had me hold and checked in periodically letting me know she was still trying to reach him. After maybe 15 minutes, she said he will be calling shortly to let me know when he is on his way. I told her I needed to pick up my son and would be right back. He called 15 minutes later and told me he would be at my home in 5 minutes. Asked if he could wait 20 minutes as my whole day has been screwed up for wasting my whole morning waiting for him. He said he can not. He told me he was booked. He said if he had time he would try to get me in at the end of the day. I never heard from him. I went on vacation for a week and came back, called to reschedule pick up and they had my order cancelled. So now I have to start all over. Super pissed. They are getting a hell of a deal. $190 for an SUV that won't smog. The tires alone are worth $400.

When the car is there, it's great. But several times I've gone only to find the car is no longer at the site even though the website says it is. This particular site seems very slow to update. And worse? They don't seem to think it's a such big deal or make much of an apology about it. I pointed out that with older cars someone may drive 100+ miles to try and get a part. Also, what good is the website if you can't count on it? They suggested I call first to confirm.

There are many cars to recycle. They have a good selection of used tires. The prices are high for used parts. For example, they wanted $26 for a 3/4 worn tire with no guarantee that it would work. I found the same tire at Walmart for $53. For twice the price, I got a tire with full tread and a warranty. Pick and Pull can be difficult to work with. They charge $2 just to walk into the yard. This is always the last place I look for a part.

Excellent selection of reconditioned automobile batteries at good prices. All the other things you expect at a facility like this: Bring a tool box and find your part, remove it and take it back to the desk where they will price it out for you. Call ahead if you need something unusual. Sometimes they get cool stuff but it doesn't last long.
