Walt's impresses me repeatedly with the quality of their service. They explained their findings clearly and provided photos of the areas they inspected. When I had questions, they looked at my car with me and provided further explanation. And the office staff is friendly and efficient!
AMAZING SERVICE AND STAFF!!! we have used the same mechanic since 2008 and a couple year ago they sold that business and the service was never the same and staff was awful... so I looked around for another shop that was reputable who'd been in practice for some time when I stumbled upon Walt's auto service... they were immediately welcoming with an absolutely fair and affordable price for the services they rendered. They were quick, efficient, communicative, personable and extremely pleasant to do business with. Paul was such a delight and Angel was exactly that, an ANGEL! He not only fixed my vehicle he kept it an extra day and thank god he did because a hose blew and it was then replaced within hours that same day. I will not be taking our truck (or any of our other vehicles for that matter) to any other place from here on out! Thank you guys so much for all your help!
We first brought our Subaru Forester here in January of 2024 for a major repair, and we have been coming back ever since. They quoted us over 2k LESS than the dealership and provided details on everything that needed to be done, but also let us know what things could wait until later vs. what was urgent.
From that very first appointment last year until today, when we had our brakes done, they've continued to impress me with their speed, thoroughness, and honest, respectful approach to what they do. As a courtesy to their customers, they offer transport to and from their shop while your vehicle is being repaired (within a certain range of miles I believe). They even gave our car a wash and vacuum free of charge at our last appointment!
If you're looking for a cheap, quick fix, you're better off looking somewhere else, because they are not super cheap. But we have taken our vehicle elsewhere as a cheaper option prior to finding Walt's, and I suspect that's why we ended up with some of the issues that they fixed at Walt's! If you care about your car and want to ensure it's taken care of correctly, they should definitely be at the top of your list. Thank you to Paul, Cece, Angel, and the Walt's team for what you guys do- it does not go unrecognized!
(Special note: as a woman who knows nothing about cars, I have never once felt intimidated or unsure as a customer here- they are very forward and detailed about everything and willing to explain anything that you don't understand. In a world where many would take advantage of a customer's lack of knowledge, their trustworthiness is such a breath of fresh air.)
Appt 1 (1/24): cam carrier/valve cover gasket/timing cover/af ratio sensor/mass af sensor/oil change
Appt 2 (6/24): new battery, tire rotation, new wipers, oil change
Appt 3 (1/25): alignment, new lower control arms, new outer tie rod ends, oil change
Appt 4 (7/25): new front axle shaft assembly both sides
Appt 5 (10/25): new brake pads and rotors
This place is great. All of my interactions with them have been very professional. I know that they will take care of my car repair issues honestly and in a timely manner.

April 25, August 25. 2013 Cadillac Srx. These guys are honest, technically savvy, and they stand behind their work.
Situation: Air Conditioning not working.
Walt's mechanics did a thorough job in the AC diagnostics. Old car, so a key part was purchased from a junkyard group. Junkyard guys sent the wrong part, Walt's guys did not notice this prior to installation, so the result was a warranty return to Walt's and another long period waiting for the correct part from the yard.
Once repaired, AC worked fine until the beginning of August when it suddenly stopped. Another return to Walt's quickly showed that the OEM compressor had a short circuit in the clutch. This was quickly replaced under warranty and everything was running smoothly within a day!
Good Job Gents, and Thank You Again. I will be back for more service, just hopefully not too soon!

Second time we have had our car repaired at Walt’s. They offer great service at reasonable prices. The staff is great very professional. They kept us informed of their progress and suggested a couple of additional maintenance items to save money in the long run. The car was washed and runs better than ever. We will definitely use Walt’s again if the need arises.
Walt's provided excellent service on my 1991 Toyota Camry Dx. Angel, Cici, Paul and Luis demonstrated courtesy and professionalism. Parts for older cars can be difficult to find. Walt's delivered, and did so at an affordable price!
I needed to find a shop to bring my Kia in for service. My ABS sensor needed to be replaced. My friends sent me Waltz website. I read reviews and decided to call to schedule a appointment. They ran a diagnostic check and confirmed the ABS Sensor and also recommended a new Drive belt. The sensor took a little time to get so I had them hold my car until everything was repaired. Which for me worked out great. I didn’t have to bring my car back and forth and take time off work. When everything was complete Paul called to let me know. He is really a very friendly guy I enjoyed speaking with him. Cece who initially answered all my questions was also very helpful and friendly. Angel who scheduled my appointment was also very friendly. They all took the time to answer my questions and made me feel comfortable bringing my car there…I didn’t feel like I was getting the run around. They were completely upfront about the process and pricing. Then which was a pleasant surprise CeCe had my car washed when I picked it up. I would recommend to anyone needing service on their car call Walt’z and schedule a appointment. They are really good people.

Not a great experience.
Booked time to bring my 2018 Subaru in for AC service. After leaving it there all day I learned they couldn’t evaluate or service that model Subaru…. But they found thousands and thousands of dollars worth of add’l things they said needed to be done.
Left my2017 Audi Q4 there for simple oil change that same day. It wasn’t ready when promised but they did an inspection that I hadn’t asked for and tried to bill me for. That inspection of course revealed thousands and thousands dollars of work that they said needed… that I know I don’t need. Like a radiator flush due to a contaminated fluid.
The place acted exactly like a dealership. Which is what I was trying to avoid by going there in the first place.
I've been going to Walt's for more than 25 years. I have always found them to be professional, knowledgeable, competent, reasonably priced, and conscientious. Speaking with the mechanics, it's clear that they take their work seriously and aspire to do the best work possible. They have my loyalty because they've always provided me with excellent customer service for my auto repair needs.
The business has changed hands in the past few years, twice now. The previous owner improved the business significantly and enlarged its capabilities while maintaining the same level of quality. The fact that he retained most of the original staff is a good sign, IMO. Honest and competent. Not easy qualities to find in any business.
Paul and Cici were very kind. They were patient in explaining what my car needed. Based upon their recommendation I decided to return to Walt's auto and get the rest of the work done.

I recently moved to the neighborhood and I stumbled upon this shop and they were so sweet. I showed up too late in the afternoon for an oil change (this isn't your drive through Jiffy Lube situation) so they allowed me to come in the next day with an appointment and finished on-time as promised. They made sure they did some quality checks before I drove off after a full check of the car + oil change. I often go for the quick spots but I realized that my car does need a little TLC and it's comforting to know my car was checked fully by the team and I will definitely be back to get my car checked and get an oil change. Thanks for making the process simple and easy. I think you can also book online just so everyone doesn't think they'd have to show up to get an appointment or call.

The pictures and videos posted are a result of what happens when you put your faith in a shop and they underperform. I brought my vehicle in to Walt’s two times. Both times stating I believe the heater core is leaking. Both times I was assured it was not. Im not a mechanic, I placed my faith in Walt’s auto shop seeing as they must know more about cars than me. They were wrong every time. Now my vehicle is overheating, losing coolant, fog coming through the vents, and soaked floorboards. They didn’t address any issue. Had they have thoroughly checked the vehicle the first two times the issue wouldn’t have grown to what it is now.
I bought a Jeep from CarMax, as soon as I bought it I got a 2,5 inch (less than a week after buying it). Getting the lift revealed there was a huge crack in my axle the crack was so bad the whole tire set us was wobbling. CarMax paid $2500 to get the Axle replaced. This guy was the closest CarMax certified Mechanic to my house. His shop is about two miles from my home. I Loverd his work so went back 6 months later (last week). replaced my axle, calibers, Roters, tail lights and break pads. These guys are very fair and know what they are doing. Everyone in our community speaks very highly of his work.
