My favorite place to playin the tide pools and football w my dog and watch surfers. Remote-ish w mostly locals and more surfers than spectators. Lifeguards leave at golden hour so know ure on ur own out there after that! Be sure to use buddy system. I always stay until last surfer comes in but im not always there either.

I was slightly disappointed by this beach. Compared to nearby beaches, this one lacks the breathtaking views. Sand wasn't very soft and there were no bathrooms anywhere close.

Nice views, but very close to the highway and not too clean. No restrooms available and doesn't feel very safe. Definitely not a relaxing experience.

Beautiful beach, good amount of parking, restrooms are a plus. Easy access and handicap parking available. Would love to come back on a warm day!

Beautiful beach to watch the surfers! We went here after hiking Tuna Canyon. Really expansive beach with good parking options.

Beautiful spot right off the road to watch the sunset and the surfers. There’s a parking lot by the beach, but if that’s full, there’s also a lot on the other side of the road. There’s a pedestrian underpass that lets you cross the highway - please take that rather than running across a busy road. It’s faster and safer. There are also bathrooms nearby.

Life is better at the beach. Loved how easy it was to access this vibe right off the highway and parking was fine if you hit the timing right. Perfect place to chill for the afternoon

This a local beach where many surfers go! Famous for its good waves but it’s also rocky ?. You can find parking in the freeway. Nice spot for surfing and sunset watching.

Wayyy to crowded surf spot tons of people trying to surf on wave storms and have zero clue what to do, its a friggin mess an they should move to Sunset as this wave can be steep when chestor higher. The rides are 150’ long at best :(

Pros: Small and compact so that the parking lot and restrooms are always close no matter where you are at this beach. Cons: Small and compact, meaning it can get crowded quite easily. Also, there are large rocks in the water that kids and adults alike can easily trip on. I know some may think I’m dumb for saying this (“It’s the ocean, dummy!”), but the water here definitely has the strongest “ocean smell” I’ve smelled at a beach. Overall, it’s an OK beach, but I much prefer Will Rogers Beach down the road a bit.

The beach is great with a lot of street parking (typical for LA). The walk to the beach was stinking and I couldn't find any restroom nearby which was surprising for me. Noticed may surfers here as the waves were kind of supportive. They do have handicapped parking available.

so awesome to go at low tide!! i wouldn’t recommend bringing dogs at low tide only because that’s when there’s a lot of wildlife out and my dogs regrettably had a great time chasing birds there were just trying to eat ? but what a beautiful beach to take a nice walk on. so much to see!! good parking lot too.

Started the drive front he SM looking for a parking as well as not so crowded beach to hang out with family and found this ? by accident. One of the few beaches very close to the water, as well as the parking.

Nice beach to just sit, and relax at. Not the type of beach to bring the kids and get in the water for though. I don't live nearby, but I've had countless picnics here, and hangouts here. Really chill. Most memorable experience was hanging with my closest friends here, and getting the honor of meeting this little Piglet Named Topanga. Never expected to meet a cute little pig at the beach that day.

It was a spur of the moment decision to stop by Topanga, but we did not regret it! Getting to capture a sunset like this one? Count me in! People were physically distancing, so that was a plus, too. There were tons of surfers putting on a great show even when we could no longer see them, sometime past 7pm. It was also low-tide, so we were able to enjoy sea critters from up close without disturbing their habitat. Highly recommend!

Pretty good beach. It's the closest beach to where I live in Tarzana. Parking could be a bit challenging, but there are usually some available spots on PCH or Topanga Canyon. If you want paid parking, there is one which is $15 for the day. Overall pretty good beach.

It was crowded and couldn’t find an open lot until around 5pm. We arrived around 2pm. We parked on Pacific Highway...literally on the ? . It was pretty dangerous considering we couldn’t see around the bend but survived to get to the beach. There was a huge palm tree that some folks had claimed but when I will have to get here early next time.

HORRIBLE BEACH NEVER GO THERE UNLESS YOURE FROM THERE. Well it's actually a great beach with two really good restaurants across PCH Cholada Thai food made by Thai people. The reel in delicious seafood

I really enjoyed this little beach. We spent a late afternoon here getting some content photos for my business. I did not realize where were there during a low tide so the beautiful dark colored rocks normally hidden by the water were present along with a few interesting small creatures. I went back a couple of days later looking to a lost item and found a completely different beach (Second photo from the return). It is smaller, not crowded at all, parking available on the street but there are other parking areas just depends on where you stop. When we were there, this beach was the exact opposite of Santa Monica.

Such a good place in LA! A lot of surfers here! The waves are not very strong, so very suitable for fun surfing. I would really want to have a surf board since I came here. Will come back again!

A favorite place of mine and a place where I spent many of days back in the 60's and 70's. Lots of fun memories here and a place I remember well. Some places seem to remain pretty much unchanged over the years and this is one of them! If you are looking for a great place to spend a day at the beach. You can't go wrong here!

Very nice beach it has alot of open space for sunbathing or having a picnic it has restrooms and showers which is Very convenient. Today there was alot of debris like seaweed pieces of crabs and lobsters that had been eaten werw scattered throughout the shore and there's many rocks once you go in a bit deeper but overall it still has alot of good swimming areas. Theres no dogs allowed on the beach which is a plus and a fully equiped lifeguard is on duty.

Beautiful beach! Nice waves, and overall pretty clean. Gets very packed on the weekend, but there's plenty of parking

Beautiful stretch of beach, easy to get to, public restrooms, wheelchair accessible, paid parking, restaurant and wine tasting across the street.

Nice beach, almost always easy to park. There are paid and free parking as well. Perfect place for surfing, because you can see good waves almost every day. But there is no rental surf shops, so better Google it where to rent before heading to the beach. If you need it, of course. Even at 6 am you can see somebody surfing already. Usually families love spending time on the beach as well. But bring snacks and drinks with you, closest groceries like 5 min drive. But fish restaurant across the road is pretty good. During winter sunsets are magical. Love it!

Water felt nice, a lot of seaweed though. Parking wasn't bad, I think I paid like $3. Good views too.
