Called for in update on my call for my step child FOR A LOCK OUT at 11pm and the person wouldn’t tell me anything ? 2 hours later no show so I call and this guy was an absolute tool?? Wouldn’t tell me anything saying I could call my step kid and ask bc they just talked to him?? I was so confused as this was set up through my insurance and that I requested?! Like your company is getting business from insurance companies so act a little professional ?? Then he literally said “I’ll just cancel the call”. When I was just a very confused parent trying to see when they would actually arrive to help my kid bc it’s been 2 hours???
Great service. The tow truck arrived a few minutes earlier that expected. The gentleman that hooked my vehicle was nice and professional. They had the best price and I called five other companies.
Recently called for towing information, and the front desk person was polite and took the time to answer my questions in a calm and detailed manner. No complaints here.
I called this company to move my van. I called them at 8:00 am, I called again at 9:00, they told me to wait a bit. I called them at 10:30 and they told me that they don't have a driver. Make yourself a favor don't call this company. They are the worst on customer service.
They lost the key to my car then said there was no recordings of me saying where the key would be. Horrible customer service. They straight out LIE to their customers. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

As many others have said the front desk worker is wildly unprofessional, have to practically beg for an answer and she takes the nastiest attitude, if I could I'd give zero stars based off her attitude alone, not to mention how expensive doing anything is with these people
I happened to be in the area,so I stopped by Bob & Dave's Towing,to ask if they were hiring for drivers,the guy there said yes,but he said ,if I could come by on a weekday,who knows, maybe we can Hook Up .
One of the most rudest lady i have ever come across. Save yourself the headache and go elsewhere. This company does not deserve to stay in business. Very unprofessional, the lady didn't even want to tell me how much is cost for their tow services. Worst experience ever.
Your Bob And Daves recently towed my grandsons car from an accident he was in, to your tow yard. Because of head injuries he wasn’t able to retrieve his personal effects until the following day. My grandson not only retrieved cash that was left in his cup holder but irreplaceable property in his trunk that belonged to his late father who passed several months ago. I want to commend your drivers on their honesty and integrity shown towards my grandsons possessions while his wreckage was held in your tow yard. We’ve been serviced by THE OTHER tow company who works Whittier area and I can personally say they ransacked my vehicle of my personal property within the first 24 hours. Thank you for NOT being THE OTHER towing service.
These people are a rip off and so extremely rude. Lack of information provided and the fact they can mistreat you and there's nothing that you can do is horrible. Front desk service is pathetic. They're the "face" of the company and they can't even talk to you like a human being. Sad

My vehicle was towed to their lot after a car accident over the weekend, stopped this morning to take out our personal belongings and did not received not even 1% of good customer service. Front window receptionist Gena was so so rude, her voice tone was just really rude making us feel more frustrated with our situation with our vehicle. The way she was speaking to us was if they were doing us a favor of having our car there like if their service was for free.
Overcharged my card the charged correct amount should have been 285 but also charged 855 bank took both amounts out even though they refunded the 855 it won't go back to my account for 5 days
Just to be clear. The car I needed to be towed is already at the shop. This place was here in like 20 minutes, and Zulu helped us out in the best way. Not only did he drive the truck very professionally, but his customer service is on point. Thank you bob and Dave’s. This place is fantastic to have around, during a not fantastic moment.
These people are crooks, they'll rob you blind. Your car is your lively hood, we invest a lot of money in our cars and for them to charge these outrages fees is crazy. And for some people their car is their home and they end up losing their car and end up losing their jobs, then end up in the streets pushing a shopping. And they can care less.
I had my 2018 Jeep towed from Santa Nella, CA. to Cerritos Dodge. The driver Alfa was incredibly polite and knowledgeable. He hooked up my vehicle on a flatbed and proceeded to use double the legal requirements for strapping it down. He advised me that do to the distance wee were traveling it would be safer. I was stranded 300 miles from home. The driver Alfa said that I could ride with him in the truck but we would need to both wear a mask and keep the windows partially rolled down for air circulation. He explained to me that he was fully vaccinated including the booster and that he had taken a covid test before he left to get me. He also let me take my dog with me. This driver showed compassion and safety every step of the way. I must recommend this company to everyone.
I was just reading these bad reviews and really was thrown off guard by the negativty of some internet bullies. These folks use their online anger and methods to cancel and hurt many businesses. I personally have never had a bad experience with this business despite them being a " TOW YARD"
I have been a customer of Bob & Dave's Towing for over 22 years. I've been there many times for vehicle auctions, inspections, and for other bad issues when unfortunately I've had my own vehicles towed because I made a mistake in The City of Whittier and did something I wasn't suppose to do. It's called self-accountability. Not their fault my car was towed!
I have never ever been given bad service by anyone. The drivers there have always been very kind including the receptionist. Let's remember that these folks are out in the hot sun driving around on the freeway during the rain changing tires fixing cars helping people in danger.....they're the heros that come to the rescue following a major accident. It's unfair to judge an entire business over a " so-called-bad-experience" that you were probably at fault for.
They''ve always treated me with care, dignity, and respect and have done the same thing with my friends and family.
I can tell that whomever the owner is or the managers/leads ( whatever they're called there) they're well trained for tough situations from tough angry customers.
I wish all tow truck companies worked this way to remove the stigma that shouldn't even exist...especially for Bob and Daves.

This towing company bus a very disrespectful business for this Whittier community having their drivers flu down one sided streets that are narrow with their flat bed trucks. There is a gentleman that is very aggressive and tried to hit my car before I have seen him charge his flat bed truck at me blowing stop signs and disregarding the speed limit and safety of out neighborhood, the lot this towing company sits on also stores the tow trucks for metro and those trucker's are as bad if not worst when they all end shift they have a race coming down cirrus ave flying through making the houses shake then a shreek of tires and as the speed off to the lot. Followed up by donuts once they get in their own vehicle... I have reached out and so called secretary was going to have the owner that just blew me off and been weeks he still hasn't called while his tow trucks continue to be a nuisance and threat to this already existing community.
I called for a tow and they were on site within 45 minutes. Johnny the driver was one of the most pleasant and professional tow truck drivers I’ve dealt with in my life and I will definitely ask for him next time I need anything towed or moved.
Is there ever anything good to say about any towing company? Charge an after hours fee even if 1 minute after 5pm. Use a forklift to bring your vehicle out. Want to charge cents but if you pay cash due to coin shortage you get no exact change back if paying cash.
Went to get my car released and noticed that they had popped one of my tire. I know for a fact that my tire was not like that when it was taken. When I brought the tire to there attention all they said was that it was already like that. Also horrible customer service and very expensive do not recommend
I called them to have a vehicle towed from my place of business. We have an account with them. Got the runaround about having the vehicle towed. I had spoken to the owner of the vehicle who gave me permission to have the vehicle towed since it broke down and he could not repair it. I had to call on 3 different days to finally have the vehicle towed. I would have rather called Hadley Towing for better service except we have account with Bob & Dave.
They were gling to pick up my car and the dude says they dont have the key very defensive i understand its your job to put on a "tough" appeal but still tf outta here and hes like he has no idea that the car is somewhere in there yard. So i said can you tell who can have an idea and check for me plus i had a signed paper were i signed stating keys were in possession with them. 1 star for your customer service.
Honestly the best towing experience. Weird to say cause who wants to have
their car towed but they made it so easy for me. I’m a young female and they didn’t treat me any different infact the lady on the phone helped me figure out the mileage and how much it would cost and even rounded down so I could pay less since I was paying cash. Then the driver they had show up was so sweet. She happen to be female Latina and I can just say it’s nice this company has diverse coworkers. Plus, she was a tiny little thing loading my car up! She got to me fast and got it to my dealership with no problems. Thank you for help and kindness! Great company.
They don't take into account that some things happen that are not caused by you. Instead of helping by just one simple act they refused and due to that personal items like birth certificates & social security cards , banking and lots of other private information was auctioned off.
Got a late night tow from these guys after running over some debris in my corvette. Price was very reasonable, driver was courteous and did his best to get the car on and off the truck carefully.
They did damage to my custom paint job on my Vette.
They kept telling me "we'll take care of you"
I'm still waiting, its been days and so far no call from them.
I was hoping they were honest and trustworthy.
I will pursue small claims action.
These people are the most rudest people I have come across in a long time. My car was stolen and they charged me 255.00 to get it out, and it was only there for 1 day, and i had to go get gas for it, and they said if i paid the money, then they would give me a jump because the battery was dead. Well, when I got back with the gas, they had pushed my car into the street, and i went to the door to ask about the jump, the guy looked at me and slammed the door in my face. Don't ever use this company for anything.
