I had a great experience with the associate Shay at O’Reilly Auto Parts. She was friendly knowledgeable and took the time to make sure I got exactly what I needed for my brake job. She answered my questions clearly and didn’t rush the process which I really appreciated. Customer service like this makes a big difference and I’ll definitely be coming back because of it.

On 12/27/2025 at approximately 5:50 PM, I had an extremely unprofessional and hostile interaction with Assistant Manager Sofie. I brought in a battery that is only one month old and clearly malfunctioning. I had already tested the battery with my own tester, which showed the battery was not in good condition. From the start, Sofie spoke to me in a condescending and confrontational manner, repeatedly raising her voice in front of other customers. She repeatedly interrupted me with statements such as “you’re not listening to me” and “let me finish,” while refusing to listen to any customer input. Her behavior made it clear she believed her word was “law,” regardless of evidence or customer concern. While I was holding my phone in my hand (I was not recording), Sofie stepped closer to me and stated “I don’t care, record me.” This escalation was unnecessary, inappropriate, and made me uncomfortable. Sofie claimed the battery tested “good,” yet failed to provide a legitimate test receipt. Instead, she handed me a handwritten slip that simply said “GOOD.” This directly contradicted my tester’s results. When I questioned this discrepancy, she loudly stated, “I would print the FREAKING receipt if the printer worked.” She repeatedly used “freak” as a substitute for profanity while speaking to me, which was unprofessional, disrespectful, and humiliating. Rather than attempting to resolve the issue or provide proper documentation, Sofie deferred responsibility and instructed me to return when the store manager, Roger, was present on a different day raising serious concerns about her ability to fulfill managerial duties. This interaction reflects poor leadership, lack of de-escalation skills, and unacceptable customer treatment. I am requesting this incident be formally reviewed and addressed. Customers should not be berated, talked down to, or embarrassed for raising legitimate concerns. No employee should be indirectly cussing at customers by using substitutes for profanity…it’s still unprofessional and inappropriate.

O'Reilly auto parts has been my source for hard to find parts. They always seem to have the parts that others don't.

I went to recycle the oil and one of the employees was very arrogant. I imagine he was the manager, because the other employees saw how he treated me and did nothing. Apparently, they don't like getting dirty with oil and don't want to recycle it. I have never returned to his business again.

Javier was great help tonight. I went to auto zone San Fernando and 3 people there could not help me find a simple size of a Nut and bolt thread. Javier help in Less than a 3 mins.

Went here with my mother the other day to get some motor oil. Then remembered that we needed some new tail lights. Brian helped us....but never have I ever had such excellent customer service. He went above and beyond. We have a Hundai Sonata '12 which has about 20 bulbs...he made sure every single one was in working order. He took his time and not once made us feel like we were a burden.

Worst customer service ever. Very unprofessional . This store is only looking for people who are buying parts. If your buying small priced items . They will ignore you. Even though you were there before other people who are in line. Do not shop here period

Always find what I'm looking for and if they don't have it they will order it for you and it will arrive by the following day. It beats driving around and wasting gas and your time.

They lied about someone being their to resurface my rotors on Sunday. I called them and confirmed when I arrived he said they guy left at 3pm I arrived at 4pm but on the phone they said before 5.30pm to take a hour to resurface. It ruined my Sunday cause now I had to wait for monday. Unprofessional. They stop having someone to resurface rotors at a certain time only one person is certified to use the machine . Need better process if your gonna honor resurfacing rotors operation hours.

Terrible service from this place. All I wanted to do was to return my bad battery (only used for 6 months) and get a new one with my 2-year warranty. The manager, Chris, didn’t want to give me a new battery because he believed there was something else wrong with my vehicle. This guy is NOT an auto mechanic and was upset when I didn’t agree with him. He denied me service because of this disagreement, even though I stated that if I use the bad battery, my vehicle wasn’t going to work properly, which could possibly result in an accident. (My battery had already died on the freeway once.) I told him that I did not feel safe with the battery, and he STILL denied my warranty. The worst service I have ever received. This “manager” needs to be fired for horrible customer service. I wish I could do ZERO stars.

Horrible customer service. Chris would not return a bad car battery of mine because he said I was rude and he does not have too. I went Another O'Reillys the day before and got my battery tested. It was on its last 25 percent. It's under a 2 year warranty and I have had it 6 months. I came into the store approached chris and told him that I have a bad battery and it's under warranty, he said it's probably my alternator, I said im pretty sure it's not because I just got a new one last year, I said it's probably a bad battery, so he went into the back and came back and said that it was good. I had a print out from the other store from yesterday proving otherwise. I showed him the print out and he then said that I was rude and he does not have to give me a new battery.

The experience at this store was horrible the people working didn't want to help us with our issue. They sat behind the counter and had smug impressions on their faces. The second star was only because the store was super clean.

I always take a long time because I'm a member with multiple part warranties. Silvestre was smart enough to help a guy buy his stuff from behind me in line instead of keeping them waiting. He was alone in the store. Dead quiet. Thanks Silvestre for your professionalism.
