Extremely bad experience with this company. The provider they sent was extremely unprofessional and damage the rear carbon fiber bumper of my car and trying to drag my steering wheel madly to unload my car. After damaging my car, the provider just walked away and by far I haven't received an refund of the towing service and the compensate of the damage the provider caused. The second day I called the supervisor of the La Jolla Tow Truck Company and the supervisor of their cooperate company which is OSCAR Towing. Both of them promised they would contact me as soon as possible regarding the damage, while neither of them contacted me after the incident. When I called OSCAR Towing, they even claimed that no driver was sent out for towing service that night. After waiting for more than an hour and got my car damaged, I had to find another towing company to get my car towed. NEVER USE THIS COMPANY, you would be grateful if you listen to me.
They took so long helping us… we showed up and the Latina woman told us she was supposed to be off and that she was leaving! She said someone would come cover for her in the next twenty minutes,… the older gentleman showed up almost an hour and a half later… we took a Lyft to get our car so we were left standing on the street for over an hour with another woman! The fact that we needed to get our car then is what totally messed up the rest of our day! We have money so that’s no issue! They just need to step up customer service!!
My car broke down on one of the worst freeways (805) in Southern California, at worst possible time, (2:30pm on a Friday) and locations to be stuck, (painted merge island @ Miramar and LJ Village Dr SB on-ramp) but i called Dee at La Jolla Tow Truck Co. and she handle my situation well, (i was panicking a bit) and quickly dispatched me a flatbed down there fairly quick, got me and my car out of a dangerous situation. Well done. Thank you!
