The staff there are GREAT. !! THEY ARE EFFICIENT, FAIR, AND FAST. NO MORE LONG LINES OR WAITING FOR BINS.. TRY IT AGAIN, YOU'LL SEE
I was there 45minutes earlier than their closing time, but they were rushing me saying they gotta close. Two employees there were rude and tried to embarrassed me, and mocking me. And they paid me $4 short but didn't want to waste my time with them. Never going back again!! I know they're just employees and don't care about these negative reviews but I don't care either. I just do my job and want them do theirs quietly!!
I had seven containers of plastic bottles, glass and Aluminum. I check my receipt and it only showed 6. My husband had more aluminum and his receipt provided less cash. I know I was ripped off and my husband, separate transactions, was robbed too of his cash. There was nothing I could do. Of course, I didn’t tip but about $7 was stolen from this worker Armando. I called HQ nothing was done. I am going to Lakewood and Bellflower centers.
I come here to recycle my bottles. I got here at 8:30 am to beat the line. It is 9:20am and it is still close. There supposed to open at 9am. There are lots of people waiting. On top of that every time I come the persons in charge are very rude; I get the feeling like if they hate coming to work.
The low star rating reviewers reveal more about those reviewers being uppity and lack understanding abilities and faculties rather than reflecting this business. They do a basic service of exchanging bottles for cash. They never short changed me in the four plus years I have gone there. However, I understand if something went wrong in my little world rather than the full whole world, then I might be upset too if i lived in just my little world.
Got there at 4:10 and they were already closed on a Tuesday. If these guys are getting paid salary then they should be getting paid hourly and tracked on punch cards. Whats the point of keeping a schedule right outside if its not even going to be followed by the workers?
I've been this place for 3years do far now, like a twice year. I feel, whenever I come to recycling things, like trustable for employees and this recycling center.
The guys here work very hard and are very loyal and respectful to the customers and they don't make you take your caps off the water bottles, definitely one of norwalks best recycling centers they maintain it clean all the times!!!
I went here around 12:45 waiting for them to put more bins out for cans/bottles. None the less, they were taking a long time with the 3 or 4 people they had in line. I waited until about 1 before I went to go ask if they had any I could use. I was told that it was company policy for them to cut the line off for them to go on lunch even though I had been there for about 15 minutes waiting.
Not recommended year 2017, the old man boss is very rude, my wife went there before they close, and this old man told her that they needed time to close, it was 4:30pm and they supposed to close at 4:45pm they didn't accept it.. definely going somewhere else not worth it.
