I’m a construction contractor and They were closed due to rain after I spent all day working to bring them a whole house of copper pipes and wiring I had a full size truck from La Jolla to recycle I had to go to quality recycling
They have been great to work with. We have some old equipment that we are trying to get rid of and they have been supporting us and are very patient with us.
This place is down the road, not where maps wants to take you. Just keep heading straight down the hill.
You drive you to a scale, pull forward, talk to the lady and you make a big circle around the back. Unload your junk and get back to the scale.
Overall it's easy to get into and out of.
They are the closest company who takes everything. Fridges, washers, dryers, anything metal.

Super easy process - dropped off some stainless steel and left with cash in 10 minutes. Staff was very pleasant and they paid more than Ecology quoted me.
We called and compared prices and Lee's was fair and fast. The collection area was clear and close to the parking, making the transfer very easy. Great hours too.
Just went today got ripped of horribly more than 2000 pounds of scrap metal only got $50 if you do the math thats 2 cents per pound (cardboard is 3 cents!) my fault for not asking first but just go somewhere else this place is still running because they just rip people off. You have been warned

Take your Iron or any other metal here if you really don't have any other choice, every where they pay 4 cents for metal lee pat 1 cent I know that the iron is the lower in years but that is straight steal.
they don't even help you to unload when other place do. also they try to get always by paying you aluminum copper just like aluminum which is like 60 cents less.
We have used these folks services twice, and were happy with the results both times. Had no issues on both jobs, several months apart. We had them bring bins to our jobsites, and pick them up a couple of days later. They then sent us checks for the scrap we filled them with. Fair price, and good service.
