Better not lose the receipt. Much like 1984 they don’t save anything in their system. My fault for losing it but the guy on the phone didn’t have to start mocking me to his coworker as he hung up. I’d honestly suggest you purchase from Autozone or Orielly. They at least have records going back to 2010 or later. No receipt needed.
Very knowledgeable staff, and very very helpful, especially for odd or not mainstream issues. Recommend, especially if you have old vintage classics. The depth of knowledge and experience is unmatched in the LB area.
I love Hap's, the employees are ALWAYS so helpful! I had an event earlier right across the street and it was raining, so I took it as a sign for me to finally change my windshield wipers... this has been on my to-do list for the past 3 months.
Gus was sooo helpful, from looking up which size I needed for my car, to actually going outside and helping me install them. I have yet to have a bad experience at Hap's, I love the way they take care of their people. Cars are so high maintenance, but we can't live without them! Ok. So, these guys are great. Everyone behind the counter is great at their jobs and are ALWAYS friendly looking to help you find the right parts. I will always pick these guys over autozone, pepboys, or napa. If they can't find the part here at Haps it's a guarantee those high school kids at the other stores will give you the deer in the headlights look when you ask. Great prices and quick services. I have been here a couple of time throughout the years and the staff are always friendly. They are very knowledgeable and dedicated to serve you well. I recently visited because I passed by and they had a sign on their window saying "Amsoil products sold here." I have always been curious about Amsoil Signature Series motor oil and Amsoil is typically purchased online and shipped to your home, but it is much more convenient knowing they carry Amsoil products here. If you ever need anything for your vehicle, bring it and they will most like have what you need. Plus you support a small business.

One of those old school parts places all the locals know about !! Went there when someone told me go to Haps Auto parts I'm like we're is that ? Although they have quality parts and very knowledgeable staff Hot Rodders etc pretty cool place .
This is a great old school shop staffed with friendly people who actually know about cars. If you are looking for a hard to find part, or something simple this is the goto place. They help where other places gave me a blank stare. Highly recommend.

Called ahead for price and availability of a specific part. Was told the item was in stock and they gave me a price. Drove 30 minutes to get to them and come to find out I was quoted for the wrong part. The part I was asking for was significantly more. Poor customer service and apparently not so knowledgeable staff.
My car had busted a water hose, didn't know what it was called, they came out helped me figure out what hose it was, loaned me pliers and a screwdriver and I fixed it outside myself. I brought back the tools and the guy said "your good, have a nice day"

I have been buying parts at Hap's for over 30 years for a reason. Quality parts, reasonable prices and most of all, great service from a knowledgeable staff. The counter guys have been here well over 10 years, some even longer and their experience shows. No better parts house in So.Cal.
Hap's is the best when it comes to auto parts. Great prices and very knowledgeable staff. They don't just sell car parts, they actually KNOW them and not just whatever the computer tells them. Also, shopping here means supporting a small business, and who doesn't love supporting small business? COMMUNISTS! That's who! So, if you don't support small businesses you're a commie!
I've been a Hap's customer for years, and when I got my current car, I wasn't surprised to find most of what I needed, they had. They don't carry dealer only items, or super-specific stuff (like a 17mm reverse thread engine mount bolt for my Civic, but they make up for it by having extremely knowledgeable staff and professional service.
