I had a very disappointing experience with Car World while inquiring about a Lamborghini Urus they currently have listed for sale. Initially, Jose reached out to me after my inquiry, but when I called the dealership, James answered the phone. Before making an hour long drive to see the vehicle, I simply requested a few additional photos, specifically of the Alcantara dashboard and interior details that were not clearly shown in the online listing. This is a very reasonable request when considering a high end vehicle purchase. Instead of accommodating a simple request, James repeatedly stated that they could not take any additional photos and that I needed to rely solely on the pictures already posted online. I have purchased and inquired about many luxury and exotic vehicles over the years, and I have never encountered a dealership unwilling to provide a few basic photos to a serious buyer. I then requested to speak with Jose, the salesperson who originally contacted me, as I felt he may have been able to assist me directly via text message. Rather than simply transferring me or allowing me to speak with him, James repeatedly questioned why I wanted to talk to Jose and continued to create unnecessary obstacles during the conversation. The entire interaction felt more focused on pressuring me to visit the dealership in person than helping a potential customer make an informed decision before committing to a lengthy drive. Any reputable dealership should understand that buyers spending significant money on a luxury vehicle often want detailed photos, videos, and transparency before taking time out of their day to travel. What made the situation even more frustrating was that I was not asking for anything unreasonable. I requested a couple of simple photos that would have taken less than a minute to provide. Instead, I was met with resistance, excuses, and a complete unwillingness to assist. The fact that I could not even be connected with the original salesperson who contacted me only added to the frustration. The issue was never about the photos themselves. It was the lack of customer service, unwillingness to assist with a simple request, and dismissive attitude throughout the conversation. If obtaining a few additional pictures before visiting is considered too much to ask, it raises concerns about how customer inquiries are handled overall. Unfortunately, this experience left me with a negative impression of the dealership and ultimately discouraged me from pursuing the vehicle further. When shopping for a luxury vehicle, customers expect professionalism, transparency, and a willingness to help. Based on my experience, Car World fell well short of those expectations.

Like many of the other 1-star reviews, my trip to see a car I found listed on Auto Trader was a complete waste of time. After I had sent an automated message through Auto Trader to ask if the car was available, they definitely did not hesitate to schedule an appointment to test drive the car. After reshuffling my schedule that day to try and accommodate a very narrow window of time they were willing to let me check the car out, I made the hour-long drive out to Hawthorne. I had arrived around 15 minutes early, and wandered the lot. During that time, not a single employee approached us, asked if we needed anything, and apart from someone's friend or family member smoking weed in one corner of the lot (with a young child next to them) we didn't see a single person. We took the time to visually inspect the car, and there was significantly more damage to the car than "minor cosmetic". Part of the front grill was cracked and literally hanging off the front bumper. The headlights were ultra cloudy, and far more dings in the paint than the listing showed. I was planning on replacing the bumper with an aftermarket one anyway so I was willing to overlook that. Once our appointment time arrived, I entered the office and asked the gentleman at the receptionist desk about who I needed to speak with about my appointment and he responded with a name I couldn't hear but it sounded like "Mike" or something. After looking for this Mike person, he asked me what I was there for. When I mentioned my interest in a specific car, he at first didn't even know which car I was referring to - and there ain't many cars on the lot. He then asked me what price I saw advertised. This is where he dropped the extra $2500 GPS surprise on us, as many others have experienced. When I mentioned this wasn't in the listing, his only reply was "check the disclaimer." The disclaimer is worded in a way, obviously intentionally, that doesn't allude to such a drastic increase in price and is clearly a method of getting foot traffic to the lot. He said they could ignore the price if paid in cash, which I said I'd be willing to do. So when he showed me the total price tag, it still included the $2500 and said that IS with the discount. The car was still cheap enough to maybe overlook this as well so I requested to at least let me test drive it. After sending someone to retrieve the car, the runner came back stating they didn't know how to drive a manual transmission and would go and get someone who could. In the meantime, Mike wandered back into the building never to be seen again. We sat there for over 20 minutes waiting for the car to be made available for a test drive. With cash on-hand you'd think they'd be somewhat enthusiastic to close the deal. Instead, we were completely ignored, and after waiting around we decided to just leave. Apparently no one even noticed we left because not long after leaving we continued to receive multiple phone calls asking why we missed our appointment and if we wanted to reschedule. I stated we had been there, who we spoke with, and what transpired, we were then utterly ignored. After sending a few reply text messages, we have received zero response. I wasn't expecting a Lexus dealership level of shine and polish, but if I was ready to hand over 4 to 5 digits worth of cash you'd think they'd at least show a modicum of initiative or transparency.

They kept texting me, calling every morning at 9 a.m., disturbing with emails, about a mini coup I wanted to buy until I said their location was too far for me. Instead of understanding and implying to hope to do business in the future their demeanor changed completely. Jerks.

Worse place ever! They lie on the phone the phone to get you through the door and then everything changes. I was told that the vehicle I wanted was under $5,000 and I could get financing on this vehicle for under $100 a month with the down payment I had, and when they got me in their office the price of the vehicle jumped to over $12,000 and financing needed $3,000 more down to finance the vehicle and payments of over $400 per month. We drove from LA Puente which took about an hour to get there. If you enjoy BS have at it and good luck!

It's a huge scam. It's at least $3,000 more than the online price. They require a "mandatory" Lo jack. First of all, a LoJack is required if you pay cash and own the vehicle. Second, a dealer installed LoJack is between $700-$800. And they are changing $2,500 for it on top of the price. The are rude and pushy. These people should be shut down.

I am up at 0245 due to my experience with this unconscionable so called business. Unexpectedly, I am in need of a new vehicle. I already endured a hellish experience on Wednesday trying to purchase that had been planned for weeks, from a private owner who tried to kidnap me. So I am already stressed...traumatized...you need it. The entire time I was waiting to make that purchase...CAR WORLD KEPT calling and texting, stating that for certain can work with the amount.of money and credit score i have. I was FULLY TRANSPARENT about what I have, what I need and what I have experienced. They KEPT LYING telling me they can FOR SURE....AGAIN ...FOR SURE ...WORK WITH WHAT I HAVE. After the kidnap attempt, I spoke with Car World again...who wanted me to rush up there that night so..."they can help me". I went to the dealership Thursday, only for this self proclaimed " Super Christian " to not take any info from me and deny me within 5 minutes of being there, after spending $50 on an uber to get there. A tear slid down my face and the SC acted like i was rumning game on HIM! I would not have even steppedbin this DISHONEST, DECEPTIVE, NO INTEGRITY, NO ACCOUNTABILITY, VOID OF EMPATHY HAVING PLACE HAD THEY NOT CONTINUOUSLY LIED TO ME OVER WEEKS. They blamed it on 3rd party marketers. The folks dont cone across as 3rd party. How the hell would anyone that until they are left out in the cold and ignored becsuse they are no longer beneficial. So by no fault of my own, i wasted crucial time and money...another 50 to get home...when I could have veen working on a resolve becsuse this garage cordones predatory marketing practices. Their website echoes the same lies spoken over the phone. Knowing this may cost me my new job...because TODAY.. I NEED TO SHOW PROOF OF HAVING A VEHICLE TO START ON MONDAY. I just got out of homelessness. You see how lies have a domino effect? You dont know what pol are going thru. The only responsibility they had was to be HONEST! BEFORE I GOT THERE! THIS WILL BE MY FIRST JOB SINCE MY CHILD WAS KILLED BY HIS FATHER. Only reason i am bringing that up is to say....YOU DON'T KNOW HOW YOUR LIES TO GET A BUCK CAN TSKE SOMEONE IVER THE EDGE. THEN YOU WANNA BE NONCHALANT LIKE I AM TRIPPIN?! Treat this seriously and clean up your business practices. I was so hurt, angry and stressed....many Snapped is a real thing. Now whst ifni just said screw it and came back...THINK! TAKE THE HIGH ROAD....YOU OPEN ANOTHER DAY BECAUSE I WAS ABLE TO TAKE THAT ROAD. STOP PLAYING WITH PEOPLE FOR REAL!!!

My experience was bad I went in to buy a car cash ..and they told me they they didn't have that car anymore because it got returned cuz it was bad from the auction ,then i gentleman said no one honest now days they bait u in ,and when u get there there's extra add on u don't even want ..so the price they announced is not the price ..So its so true about people saying TO GOOD TO BE TRUE ..THATS A FACT!!! THEY PUT A LOWER PRICE TO bait u in ..and its not that price and then wen u get there the car not even there..smh totally disappointed....

This place is so shady. We went to see 3 cars we selected from our internet search. These cars were “in storage” and not available to see. Maybe it would have been different had we made an appointment. Also, apparently every car is the listed price PLUS $2500 for pre-installed lo-jack device. The whole vibe there is ick. Don’t waste your time.

So today I came in to Carr world about 4 o’clock this evening. I was pretty disappointed after leaving a car place that’s right next-door called Hawthorne auto Square and I sat there for about maybe 2 to 3 hours. Trying to get approved for a car and they were asking for a ton of more money down so as I left there, I walked down the street to Carr Road and my daughter said mom you should’ve come here you should’ve you should’ve went there in the first place cause that’s where you intentionally wanted to go and when I came in, I met a guy here. His name is Lima the finance director and it was just instant connection was instant just the energy was really good. He asked me what I have for a down payment help me out with my credit and I’m actually walking away in a car and it hasn’t even been an hour yet so I’m really grateful like the energy in here is good and it’s just a lot a lot of positive uplift so I’m really excited and I got a car so

I made a deal for a ram 2500. They said they would call me the next day around noon. Noon came and no one called me and I called the numbers they gave me and no one answered. I show up because its already looking sketchy. The guy that helped me told me that the engine is bad and they wanted me to pay an extra $4,500 on top of what I was paying. Isn't that what the warranty is for? He said it doesn't make sense to sell it to me with a new engine because there would be no profit. I asked for money back because at that point I'm better off getting a better truck. Yeah they were friendly but a to make me pay extra after we already had the deal is unacceptable. Just my experience. Wouldn't recommend this place.

List price is a lie to get you to come into the store. They add about 2500 to 3000 to the price once you get there for gps tracking and other stuff you don't want. They also try to rush you into a salesperson's office to run your credit and get you on a payment plan before you can even test drive a car; they don't accept cash deals or let you pay and get out the door. If you reallllllly need a car and have crappy credit and $500 to your name maybe this place can do something for you. If you just want to pick up a cheap car paid-in-full to get it over with, this is not the place for that.

A true genuine 5/5 from being greeted upon arrival by the sweet lady checking me in & gave me a heartfelt personable goodbye, to whom I was assisted hands on with by Mr Neyar, all the way to my finance & cashier lady! You all made an impact on my visit. I was approved & everybody gave me encouragement & high hopes that I’d be walking out with a car & I did just that! I’m so in love with my new car, 2013 Mercedes Benz ML 350. I won’t go into what I paid because everyone is situational & preference. They offer in house financing or can search banks that will approve you. Do your research & be ready! Car was in pretty good condition exterior wise, it’s used & take in consideration it’s an older car so natural wear & rear.. so don’t go in with expectations higher than your budget , & then bash these lovely people for something out of their control. They cleaned up my car all nice for me to ride out in. I truly have nothing bad to say about this place. I will forever be a returning customer in the future for any car shopping needs !!

If I could give a negative star I would I had to Do not buy a car from here they are crooks they sold us a car that had bad tires on them that they tried to cover up. We had a blow out and got into an accident. We were hurt bad. The front passenger has the same problem. They sold us a car knowing this and put our lives on the line just to sell a car. My attorneys have been notified.
