The car I wanted to see was not here. Other cars on the site were several thousand more expensive than the listed price. I called ahead twice and they confirmed it was there. When I arrived they had me try to find the car by myself in their 3 lots until they said they didn’t have it. None of the staff at any point cared to assist at all, except the lady on the phone who completely lied about having the car there. A terrible experience overall

So today I came in to Carr world about 4 o’clock this evening. I was pretty disappointed after leaving a car place that’s right next-door called Hawthorne auto Square and I sat there for about maybe 2 to 3 hours. Trying to get approved for a car and they were asking for a ton of more money down so as I left there, I walked down the street to Carr Road and my daughter said mom you should’ve come here you should’ve you should’ve went there in the first place cause that’s where you intentionally wanted to go and when I came in, I met a guy here. His name is Lima the finance director and it was just instant connection was instant just the energy was really good. He asked me what I have for a down payment help me out with my credit and I’m actually walking away in a car and it hasn’t even been an hour yet so I’m really grateful like the energy in here is good and it’s just a lot a lot of positive uplift so I’m really excited and I got a car so

Anyone who rated this a 5 star is lying! Absolutely horrendous service. Got there and the car we were looking at was 50-60% more because they added a GPS tracking device even if you’re purchasing cash!

Quoted about 3k. Sold to carmax for 1k. After 3 hours drag on strategy by them- long wait for customer service person even with appointment. Long wait on getting title work verified, and very long wait on inspection, and slow payment process line.
These were all done after online filled in. At the end, I was so tired and don’t want to try another place. Since carmax only give appointment on site visit. No pick up.
Tried carvana on another car, took me about quarter of an hour, after on line filled out. And it was pickep up and paid as quoted.Feb 01, 2026 -

I saw a car I was interested in buying at this dealer. Since I would be paying cash in-full, I called and asked to speak to a sales person. The receptionist (Deandrea or a similar name) said "You can speak to me." I said okay, I'm looking to buy a car today and my budget is "this" (I gave her the exact amount, which was pretty close to the price of the car). She made an appointment for me and said to ask for her when I got there. Upon arrival, I was told she did not work there and I had to meet some other man named "Lima" or something like that. Now, when I got to the place I was already a bit disappointed with the way it looked. I realize not all dealers' offices are modern and nice, but this place was a severe DUMP. I didn't even want to touch anything or sit down. There was visible piles of dirt and trash on the floor of Lima's office when we walked in, and he had his head down on his desk, almost laying across it. He didn't get up to greet me and I had to extend my hand or he would not have offered a handshake either. He asked which car we were interested in and I told him, also mentioning that there was no picture of the car on their website yet (which I thought was because it was a new listing). He replied "Well if there's no picture then that means the car is probably no good, we would post it if it were nice. They just post these kind of things at a low price to get people in the door." So basically, he admitted to shady marketing tactics and dishonesty as though it were ethical. I mentioned a second car, same price as the first, that did have pics up and he says "Okay, well did you read the disclaimer on our website?" I explain that I found them through Auto Trader and did not see any disclaimer there. He responds "Oh, well you need to look at the website of the dealership when you're looking for a car. We charge a non-negotiable fee of $2,500 in addition to the prices we list online. I don't want to waste your time so I'm telling you now." Of course, I immediately got up and left. I bet if I had been transferred to a sales person like I asked when I initially called I would have received that information before I rented a car for the day and drove nearly 20 miles to the dealership. Even the receptionist could have mentioned $2,500 additional fee when I told her my budget and the car I was interested in. The bit about "wasting time" really just added insult to injury. So Mr. Lima--if you actually care about wasting people's time (and money-- I RENTED A CAR TO GET THERE) maybe you should train your staff better and post the ACTUAL prices of the car instead of lying to get people in the door. Avoid this place like the PLAGUE. I wouldn't trust them to sell me a Hot Wheels car.

I made a deal for a ram 2500. They said they would call me the next day around noon. Noon came and no one called me and I called the numbers they gave me and no one answered. I show up because its already looking sketchy. The guy that helped me told me that the engine is bad and they wanted me to pay an extra $4,500 on top of what I was paying. Isn't that what the warranty is for? He said it doesn't make sense to sell it to me with a new engine because there would be no profit. I asked for money back because at that point I'm better off getting a better truck. Yeah they were friendly but a to make me pay extra after we already had the deal is unacceptable. Just my experience. Wouldn't recommend this place.

List price is a lie to get you to come into the store. They add about 2500 to 3000 to the price once you get there for gps tracking and other stuff you don't want. They also try to rush you into a salesperson's office to run your credit and get you on a payment plan before you can even test drive a car; they don't accept cash deals or let you pay and get out the door. If you reallllllly need a car and have crappy credit and $500 to your name maybe this place can do something for you. If you just want to pick up a cheap car paid-in-full to get it over with, this is not the place for that.

Worst dealership ever. I called to inquire about a specific vehicle, was asked to make an appointment, and drove an hour to get there on my appointment day. That morning, I was contacted by the appointment-maker to make sure I was coming (apparently they are not on-site and do not seem to communicate with the salespeople at ALL). I got there and was greeted by no one. Salespeople walked by several times without even acknowledging me. No one seemed to know that I had an appointment or even cared that there was a customer there trying to buy a car. After about half an hour of being completely ignored, I finally flagged someone down and told him that I had an appointment to see a certain car. He said he doesn’t even know if it’s there. WHAT?!? He sent me - without assistance - to comb through another lot a couple blocks up the street to see if the vehicle was there. WHAT?!? It was not there. I went back to the office, was again ignored, and when I flagged that salesman down to ask why I was scheduled an appointment that no one knew about to see a car that wasn’t even there, he just shrugged and said to take it up with the appointment-maker and walked away. Very rude and dismissive. I wasted close to three hours on that horrible experience. I went to another dealership and bought a car right then and there with zero hassle. I would NEVER give CarWorld the time of day again. Ridiculous. I’m still furious.

This company needs to be reported. I saw a “too good too be true” deal online. Then found out they will not allow you to have the vehicle inspected by a dealer, they won’t give you info over the phone and you must show up to get questions answered. Then read yelp reviews, bad people doing bad business. Avoid the bait and switch

Total scam. I got them through Carfax. A great deal we were excited with. Contacted them and drove an hour one way. They doubled the price on us. Told us they added a GPS. I pleaded with the staff please don’t allow me to drive to the dealership from OC for nothing. The quote was $3700 when i arrived they told me there was a mandatory alarm on the car of $2500 plus low jack, the sake price was $7300. THEY ARE CROIKS!!! I’m considering filing a lawsuit( small claims). So dis honest!!!

I’ve had a really frustrating and disappointing experience with CarWorld. Here are the major issues I encountered:
bait-and-switch pricing online vs. in-person:** The website lists amazing competitive prices. When you actually visit, the numbers on the cars jump by thousands. It feels like a deceptive tactic rather than straightforward pricing.
surprise add-ons after arrival:** After negotiating, they tacked on an extra $2,500 for a GPS system that they themselves added. However, this GPS system is NOT removable, which makes the surcharge even more troubling and deceptive. If the GPS cannot be removed, that should be disclosed up front.
unsafe and unprofessional environment:** I went to view cars and had to leave due to a physical fight breaking out in the lot. A chaotic scene like that is not acceptable and raises serious safety concerns.

A true genuine 5/5 from being greeted upon arrival by the sweet lady checking me in & gave me a heartfelt personable goodbye, to whom I was assisted hands on with by Mr Neyar, all the way to my finance & cashier lady! You all made an impact on my visit. I was approved & everybody gave me encouragement & high hopes that I’d be walking out with a car & I did just that! I’m so in love with my new car, 2013 Mercedes Benz ML 350. I won’t go into what I paid because everyone is situational & preference. They offer in house financing or can search banks that will approve you. Do your research & be ready! Car was in pretty good condition exterior wise, it’s used & take in consideration it’s an older car so natural wear & rear.. so don’t go in with expectations higher than your budget , & then bash these lovely people for something out of their control. They cleaned up my car all nice for me to ride out in. I truly have nothing bad to say about this place. I will forever be a returning customer in the future for any car shopping needs !!

I have to say this is the worst dealership I been to. The moment I got here I felt the weird vibes. We had an appt and they didn't bother to help me and my friends out. Keep in mind we had the money in hand, the guy that was talking to us about the car was telling about it and offered to give us a discount and all that. Promising a discount after the numbers were stated for us, one they never provided the discount they didn't car or bother to care to include that, second was like if they didn't want to bother to sell the car. Everyone was on their phone and just sitting down it didn't feel like a genuine dealership. We didn't get offer to test drive it or nothing until we had to asked a couple of times and they let us. They tell us we have a to pay for a bs gps tracker that's 2k.5 which I think is bs cuz why is that needed if I can decide if I want to instal one myself. Never gave the discount and the bald guy with tats with the dodgers was just saying you guys are a waste time. I had to stop him and say how is that a waste of time if you didn't seem interested in providing customer service first of all or even look engage enough to sell the truck. I should have listened to my gut about this place having a bad reputation by the way we weren't welcome from the start. DON'T GO HERE. From the test drive it's good to know that guy was cool and genuine showed us the most interest in selling the car but it came down to the bald guy and it went to zero reviews if I could.

If I could give a negative star I would I had to Do not buy a car from here they are crooks they sold us a car that had bad tires on them that they tried to cover up. We had a blow out and got into an accident. We were hurt bad. The front passenger has the same problem. They sold us a car knowing this and put our lives on the line just to sell a car. My attorneys have been notified.

I got this car from Car world and it started smoking four months after I got the car. I had a death in the family and got behind on the payments and they re-pulled the car from me and the car wasn’t even supposed to be sold in the first place it’s sitting there with a stamp saying it’s not able to be sold and they sold it to someone else and reload it from them after they took it for me.

Lima is unmatched. I’ve had the best experience here, and I won’t be getting my car anywhere else in California, but car world. The customer service was upfront, they were honest with me. And they made things happen. It’s really a no-brainer that I will be coming back here for all my car purchases.
