Beware!!!! I drove 2 hours to be told that they didn’t have zero down, the minimum down payment is 3500. I asked for the manager to call me due to the whole experience and never received a call from a person named Tori. They took my personal information by me applying online and lured me in saying I was pre approved for zero down and I didn’t go to a 3rd party website. They were quick and rude when I arrived saying they didn’t have an application in my name and he lied because he didn’t even do an application for me which tells me they had it. Read the car fax also because most of the cars have been in accidents!!!! I’m going to report them to the lemon board. They told me I called an answering service who lied to me and he was the liar because I called the number while I was there and the phone rang at the front desk

Then, Paige was super rude, wouldn't let me ask questions, and promised a call back that never came. Drove 46 minutes, and the price was suddenly $2500 more for a system they added! I have to say this is the worst dealership I been to. The moment I got here I felt the weird vibes. We had an appt and they didn't bother to help me and my friends out. Keep in mind we had the money in hand, the guy that was talking to us about the car was telling about it and offered to give us a discount and all that. Promising a discount after the numbers were stated for us, one they never provided the discount they didn't car or bother to care to include that, second was like if they didn't want to bother to sell the car. Everyone was on their phone and just sitting down it didn't feel like a genuine dealership. We didn't get offer to test drive it or nothing until we had to asked a couple of times and they let us. They tell us we have a to pay for a bs gps tracker that's 2k.5 which I think is bs cuz why is that needed if I can decide if I want to instal one myself. Never gave the discount and the bald guy with tats with the dodgers was just saying you guys are a waste time. I had to stop him and say how is that a waste of time if you didn't seem interested in providing customer service first of all or even look engage enough to sell the truck. I should have listened to my gut about this place having a bad reputation by the way we weren't welcome from the start. DON'T GO HERE. From the test drive it's good to know that guy was cool and genuine showed us the most interest in selling the car but it came down to the bald guy and it went to zero reviews if I could.

I had a very disappointing experience with this dealership. The customer service was unprofessional and discourteous. Despite having a scheduled appointment, I was told upon arrival—after driving over two and a half hours—that the vehicle I came to see was unavailable. Additionally, I was denied a test drive and was told I “couldn’t afford it” based solely on appearance, which was both insulting and discriminatory. The overall environment felt dishonest and unprofessional. I would strongly advise others to avoid this dealership thank u and save yourself the time
This is the shadiest car buying experience I have ever seen and I have purchased over 30 cars in my lfe. Salesman said come in and we could get the advertised price and the car would be ready. We drove over an hour and they wouldn't honor the advertised price. They literally screamed at us when we said "we would just like to pay the online price + tax, license, doc fees and leave". The whole place smelled like weed and the Jetta we went to see was filthy and needed to be jumped. Avoid this place at all cost. Total ripoff. I wish 0 stars was an option.

If I could give a negative star I would I had to Do not buy a car from here they are crooks they sold us a car that had bad tires on them that they tried to cover up. We had a blow out and got into an accident. We were hurt bad. The front passenger has the same problem. They sold us a car knowing this and put our lives on the line just to sell a car. My attorneys have been notified.
This is our second time with Lima and he as once again, taking care of us, if Lima can’t get you approved for vehicle, then you might as well just stop trying to finance one and pay cash. We made an appointment to see a vehicle. When we showed up on time, no one cared. We waited. We looked at the vehicles. Tried to get someone to help us. No one did. FINALLY got help 45 minutes and realized what a scam this place is.

Well needless to say I'm rather pissed off these people called me. Told me over the phone they've got in-house lending and can do whatever they want. $500 out of pocket even with low bad credit just come on down and you'll be driving away. Not even close dude tells me $3,500 minimum for in-house lending minimum $3,500 for in-house landing. I could do that anywhere. So I wasted 3 hours of driving to get here just to find out cuz it's the old bait and switch. Yeah I'm pissed off. Thanks for wasting my time. Oh and the price is online way way way. Way off if you need financing.
This is the worst place ever. I live over 2 hrs away so when I called I told them about my credit and asked that they pull my credit before I come all that way just to be told I needed a cosigner they assured me they would be able to take care of me so I drove 2 hrs there and two hours back I was in the office only 5 minutes. They didn't even run my credit or anything I am so upset, Do not go here they are janky as hell.

I got this car from Car world and it started smoking four months after I got the car. I had a death in the family and got behind on the payments and they re-pulled the car from me and the car wasn’t even supposed to be sold in the first place it’s sitting there with a stamp saying it’s not able to be sold and they sold it to someone else and reload it from them after they took it for me.
We called before we left Santa Barbara to verify that they had the car we were interested in. Drove 2.5 hours. When we got there, told us they didn't have it. We showed them the listing on their website. The man went and checked, came back and said it needs service. Wanted us to look at other models for more $. Perhaps bait and switch.

I don’t usually leave reviews, but my experience at CarWorld was so unbelievably bad that I feel obligated to warn others.
First, they advertised cars online that either didn’t exist or were already “sold.” I called ahead to confirm availability and was told the car was there. I drove over two hours, only to be told it is not available today and pushed toward a more expensive option.
Then came the hidden fees. The listed price was completely misleading. They added over $2500 for a useless GPS system and theft protection that I never agreed to. When I asked to remove the fees, the salesperson got rude and said it was “mandatory.”
Customer service is beyond unprofessional. The staff acted like they were doing me a favor just by talking to me.
Long story short: the worst treatment I’ve ever received at a dealership.
Do yourself a favor and stay far away from CarWorld. Dishonest, shady, and zero accountability.
Lima is unmatched. I’ve had the best experience here, and I won’t be getting my car anywhere else in California, but car world. The customer service was upfront, they were honest with me. And they made things happen. It’s really a no-brainer that I will be coming back here for all my car purchases.
