This towing company is literal trash. My brother was t-boned and AAA contacted them to tow my brother’s car and they picked up the wrong car. They were super rude and unhelpful in this stressful situation. Genuinely hope all of their towing trucks breakdown and they go out of business.

Their dispatchers are rude, they don't even introduce the company when you call. The first person I spoke to made me feel like I was talking to my miserable aunt who hates people and the second one sounded like she was eating lunch while we spoke. Zero care to my car or situation. Its really sad when small businesses get so big they stop caring about their customers. I expected them to be so much better than this. Wont ever call them for help when I am in need, would rather give my business to Sanders Towing or a small company. I hope you do better, Jan's, your customers don't deserve the treatment they receive nowadays.

I’ve had to utilize Jan’s Towing three times in the past week. Not only did they show up in less than 15 minutes, they promptly addressed our issue! They will forever be our go to towing service.

I had to use this towing service on 5/31/2025 and it was the most miserable experience. My boyfriend and I were involved in a MVC and needed a tow home, so we contacted AAA at 7:04 and were put in contact with Jan’s towing company. We were quoted 1 hour to 1.5 hours . After an hour and a half passed with no contact we called Jan’s towing company to see what was happening. The woman who picked up laughed at us and said just keep waiting, it will be 10 minutes. We waited an additional 30 minutes, called again, and the same woman snapped at us. In total we waited almost 2 hours for a tow, sitting in our undrivable car, in 90 degree weather. I was hoping that once the driver arrived (at 8:56 PM) there would be some resolution, but there absolutely was not. When the driver pulled up he was actively watching a YouTube video. He got our car pulled onto the bed of the truck, and during our drive home he drove so erratically I honestly considered calling the CHP. He missed several exits and drove over the gore’s of the HWY, driving in the shoulders of the road/ outside of lanes. The driver also tailgated other cars and strobed his brights to try to get them to move out of his way instead of driving defensively. The worst part was halfway through the drive home when we had to pull over because he didn’t secure the chains holding the car onto the bed of the truck correctly. The chains were dragging and causing sparks (in an area known for frequent brush fires). If a chain kicked up on the road it could have also potentially damaged our vehicle further which would have caused issues to our insurance claims. When we arrived home I asked for the drivers name and he wouldn’t even tell us or provide a way to give survey. It took us 2 hours to get a tow truck, 2 hours to drive home, and I would not suggest this service to anyone.

Went with a friend to get his car out. Super expensive 800 for 1 week but those are impounds for you

I'm not quite sure what to post here because Jan's Towing did such a disservice to me as well as to AAA. On January 7th, 2025, Jan's Towing was dispatched by the automobile club to unlock a vehicle from a residence buy a person who claimed to be the owner of my vehicle. The driver of the tow truck after unlocking the vehicle is required to get a picture ID from the person and to verify that that person is an AAA member and on the registration of the vehicle. Without going through the exact specifics due to current litigation, the tow truck driver failed to identify the person claiming to be the owner of the vehicle, nor did he verify he was the owner of the vehicle. The person they opened the vehicle for was neither the owner, on the registration, or a lien holder. The tow company denies any wrongdoing and denies any culpability, stating it is not their responsibility and blames AAA for not verifying who owns the vehicle. They couldn't answer the question of how the AAA call center verified the face of the caller over the phone. AAA insists it is the tow companies responsibility. I would highly suggest that you use another tow service since they cannot admit to their mistake. For the record my windows were damaged because the towtruck driver had zero clue how to open the door on my vintage vehicle and was left open from the 7th-24th.

Yesterday, I had a flat tire and contacted AAA roadside assistance for help. They dispatched Jan's Towing, and I couldn't be more impressed! The gentleman who came to assist was beyond amazing and incredibly helpful. He was kind, professional, and made what could have been a stressful situation so much easier for me. I truly appreciated his efficiency and the care he showed in ensuring everything was handled perfectly. The service was outstanding, and I am so grateful for the support I received. If you're ever in need of towing or roadside assistance, I highly recommend Jan's Towing—they go above and beyond! Thank you so much for the amazing service!

Only giving it one star because I had to . The female dispatcher was super rude , never allowed me to speak unless she asked me “go ahead “ instead she was busy laughing in the background with other workers . When I asked her the fee ? She responded with a question back being a jerk . They act like their above the law ..

They are so busy that they don’t need your business. The female dispatchers would rather argue than anything else. Never had a problem with a single driver there. It’s unfortunate I gave them so much of my business and sent so many more their way. But I guess they don’t need any more customers so I suppose I’m the idiot. They were so busy I said no problem I’ll call back tomorrow. I even waited for the morning rush to be over before I called. They wouldn’t even schedule an appointment to be on a waitlist for next available unit. Customer service has truly become extinct.

The lady who answers the phone is rude and deranged. Argues and threatens customers thinking she is that of some higher power. Maybe instead of fighting with customers they should focus on hiring new employees.

Fantastic service! Eddie was really nice, easy to talk to and worked efficiently to get my car loaded and transported! Definitely made me feel reassured that my car will be taken care of after a drunk driver hit my parked car. I had a bad experience in the past with other tow company (626 area) and Jan’s most definitely proved that they were not the same. Also shoutout to the front receptionist (sry I forgot to ask for name) but was able to teach me some things about going through insurance and explained the damages of my car! Will definitely use Jan’s the next time I need a tow. Keep surfing and Eddie rocks!!!

I cannot express enough gratitude for the incredible service we received from Jan’s Towing Company, specifically from our tow truck operator, Eddie. From the moment Eddie arrived, he was nothing short of phenomenal. His kindness, friendliness, and positive energy were a beacon of light during a stressful time. We found ourselves in a difficult situation when my elderly father was discovered slumped over on the side of the road, in need of assistance to tow his vehicle back to Los Angeles. Eddie not only handled the towing with efficiency and care but also did so with a smile that reassured us throughout the process. His empathy and best wishes truly made a difference in our day. Greatest customer service I've experienced overall! I failed to grab the gentleman's name. However, it's not needed. Everyone knows who he is. I can't imagine anyone complaining ever. Thank you! I had a really bad experience with this company. This company had us waiting over 2 hours and would not help us in any way. They kept on making excuses to not provide the service needed in order to tow our truck. There were 3 different tow mans that arrived at different times and two of them did not help because Jan’s office did not want them to provide the service. I believe that it is pretty stupid that they only help people with white last names and will not even help people like myself.

I wasn't impressed with their service. I had to get my car towed and the driver pulled up with his son in the passenger seat (unprofessional). He then proceeded to try and do the job as fast as he could which involved damaging my car even more and popping 2 of my tires. After he was unsuccessful he decided that he should call for their truck with a crane to lift my car. Their towing service was very unprofessional and poor quality. I went to their yard to get stuff from my car and it seems like they're there because they have to be. Also, I observed an interaction between an employee (they seemed like someone in a higher position) and another person that involved some yelling and name calling. After the employee walked back inside they said, "I'm not going to respect you if you don't respect me." Overall, I would not recommend Jan's unless there are no other options.

After searching and calling numerous tow services and getting nowhere, I decided to call Jan’s towing, getting ahold of them they asked what time would be the best time for me, after setting a time, they called an hr before arrival to make sure everything was ready. They showed up on time, driver John was helpful and accommodating.

I used them for a dead battery. The gentleman that kept me advised had me smiling. Troy the guy that does batteries...lol..nice. polite. Funny 🤣...by the time he left i was laughing. (In a good way). Thanks. See y'all again soon..😏..hope not. Be blessed and safe I've never used them. They were called due to a mini van that's used for dead battery. (Monday of this week). The driver was VERY RECLASS AND ALMOST RAN INTO me 2 times. The THIRD time for in front of me and jammed in brakes. I called Jans towing. Very polite. Sent picture of this idiot driver. No call back!! THOS COMPANY TOWS FOR THE POLICE??? 👎

Fast reliable service, I did not get to ask for them on personal level, but was recommended by Glendora PD. They stayed open a little later to let me pick up my stuff

Called to have my truck towed at 1230pm and was told it would be 2 hours. At 3pm, I called back as they had not arrived yet. The dispatcher informed me it would be another 1-2 hours as they were extremely busy with other calls. At that point I was told that other clients take priority over cash clients like myself. I asked why I didn’t get a call informing me of the delay and they said they don’t do that. Luckily I was just having the truck towed from the auto shop to my office and wasn’t waiting for a tow. Very unfriendly and unprofessional staff and organization.

I'm very very satisfied with the services I received since I walked in the young lady helping mr was so helpful, polite and nice. And while I waited for the vehicle the gentlemen that brought it out was also very nice he waited there ti make sure car would start and that everything was in order wished I would have gotten both there names. Very happy and pleased with service

RIck was extremely professional and took great care of our classic Ford.

Just as it got dark on the 210 freeway on a Sunday evening I blew a rear tire on my Chevy Avalanche - I was able to pull over to the side of the freeway, not a good place to be stuck with semis and cars whizzing by. I put out flares and started to go about the spare tire routine - BUT my spare tire was stuck, I couldn't get it to lower down. So, after fighting the spare for thirty minutes, I called my emergency road serviced for a tow - but they couldn't find anyone as everything was closed. Fortunately a highway department truck stopped to help - but they had no luck with the spare either - so they called Jan's Towing. Jorge pulled up in literally ten minutes, had my truck loaded safely and securely - taking very special care to not damage the rim of the completely exploded tire, and delivered me and my truck home. Then Jorge, with the job professionally and rapidly and very safely completed, refused to leave until he had crawled under my truck, figured out that the mechanism that lowers the tire was mis-aligned, showed me in case it happened again, and fixed it. THEN he insisted on removing my blown tire and installing my spare and filling it - so I could be all set in the morning. Jorge was a genuine super hero - absolutely professional, polite, deeply skilled and incredibly kind. THANK YOU Jorge and Jan's Towing - you went truly above and beyond the call of duty!

I had an absolutely amazing experience with this location! The nice drivers went far above and beyond what was asked of them. Extremely friendly, extraordinarily helpful, and such great people! They even stayed late with me to make sure I got home safe with my family. Truly amazing individuals. Keep up the great work!

They towed our car to a shop that was 2.2 miles a and they changed us $216. It was a rip-off. Will never get service here plus I will be filing a complaint with the BBB. I did filed a complaint, Jan’s towing gave me an explanation. They are contracted by the Glendora Police Department. Since they have a contract there is $216.00 per hour with a 1 hour minimum. That information should had been provided by law enforcement. So I understand how it works, thank you Jan’s towing for the clarification.

I had Gill from Jan's Towing come through to help me out and I have to say he did a fantastic job. On what was a very bad day, Gill was able to get us off the highway and back home quickly and safely. He really went above and beyond to make sure we were as comfortable as possible. Gill did the impossible, and put the whole experience in a different and better light. I would recommend this company to everyone!

They guy in Van #77 was a huge help ,it didn’t take long for him to arrive and when he did he had patience with us as we tried to explain the problem , and quickly took action . He was able to pinpoint what was going on within the car shortly after he arrived. He was kind and showed courtesy by offering us water ! Big thanks to him and triple a for sending

The guy at the yard is so dirty, his bosses should tell him to shower before he comes to work. They all act like they know what they are doing but every person you speak to gives you different information from the hours they are open to how much the total cost will be. Then the girls that answer the phone at the yards are rude and sassy, they just put you on hold and transfer you without letting you know. No customer skills whatsoever!! The customer service fits right in to where they work at a tow yard, dirty and filthy!! They will take your car to the Glendora location on the weekends because they are barely open compared to the Azusa location making it inconvenient to pick up your car that way they can just keep charging you. Btut I guess when you rip people off for so much money you feel like you can do and treat a customer the way you want.
