Pretty reasonable recycling center
Use to come here to bring my cans and bottles although last time I stopped by I was informed they no longer purchased them.
They still do accept other scrap metal like cars, appliances, copper , steel, cast iron etc.
If you are looking to sell your glass, plastic or aluminum bottles/ cans they have a flyer up at the booth for other alternatives recyclers.
Closest one to them for that is down valley
I've been going here for year then all of a sudden they stop letting people recycle bottles an cans, soo how is this still appear on Google when they don't accept bottles an can anymore
I had a great experience dropping off my recyclables at this center. I brought in everything from cardboard and plastics to electronics. The staff was super helpful, guiding me through the sorting process with a smile. Their facilities are spotless, and I could see they were very meticulous about recycling everything in the proper bins. The prices are very reasonable, especially given the high level of service. It’s clear they care about the environment and do everything they can to reduce waste in the community.
Lied about not buying bottles or cans for years now very rude was told since I have no business I can't even park to look for another location there was only 3 other people plenty of parking available
Not to crowded the guy that helped us was cool.But the girls inside seemed like thay dont like people to much.its like they were having the worst day in there life.

Careful when you come with scrap metal here. They under cut you. They guy said i had tin but i know it was steel. Dont come here to sell scrap. Wish i could give zero stars
Don't waste your time taking anything here they will undercut you completely. You will not get as much; I took a furnace that weigh about 200lbs of metal and they gave me $7 for it. Other people there with full of metal in their pick up trucks only got $40. Ridiculous. I understand we are all struggling during this pandemic, but please go else where. If I could I'd give this a 0 rating. Don't waste your time.
I actually enjoy this place although it is a recycle place and people there are friendly and nice workers and easy going when you got to be in and out.
For more the 15 years we recycling on this place, and time change it's not like before, the economy its going down really bad. I remember when the manager use to give us a turkey for this time but customers and owner make money on that time
Grate was services, although I had to wait in a line for mear 5+ minutes. As I came up I was greeted with a smile and shook my hand. All of that took about five seconds. Afterwards he continued with his job. As he finished I got my recite, I thanked him for his job.
And once again, and away I went.
This place is horrible. I recommend anyone that is thinking of going here to look for other places to recycle your stuff because you don’t get that much money here and they use any excuse possible to give you the least money they can. CHOOSE SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!
Went on the SA Recycling website, printed the coupon that is advertised on the homepage. Went to the center with coupon they told me " we do not take coupons" and showed me a sign where it stated so. Don't bother printing the coupon and waisting time and ink. they have the coupon just to lure you in.
I was disappointed that they no longer give you just the weight on wine bottles. I don't need the money, but I'm helping out an elementary school. They are in a recycling contest with other schools in their district and need the weight, not the money. Last year they let me do that, but this year the old grouchy man told me to put them in the trash. That's not cool, because you can still recycle glass bottles without giving back money. So then I still had a bunch of beer and other assorted bottles that had a CA redemption on them, and the scale said that it was only 49.0 lbs? Wow! It was so much heavier to drag over to the scales, than 49 lbs. I think there is a problem with their scale.
The tow driver for pick up is unreliable. Called because never received a call he was on his way, they said he’s stuck in traffic and seconds later they said he’s here but he said I wasn’t so he left. Lying to customers and bad customer service NOBODY GO HERE THE WORSE SCAM EVER.
So I'm just trying to get rid of a car and I thought it would be very simple. Turns out it's not, so on Saturday my car was supposed to be towed out, which it wasn't, because my friend was just 5 min away the tow driver didn't wanna wait but it was fine no biggie the lady on the phone told me they'd be here Sunday at 6pm but turns out that they're not even open on sundays. Monday comes and I'm up 8am to call and find out what happened, told them the story and they said I was lying even though they apparently record the messages you could just go back and it'll be all there. So reschedule for Tuesday, get up at 8 am cause appointment was from 8-10, don't even get a call till 9:30 the tow driver, Cruz, asks "do you have a title" I said my friend he's on his way right now he's down the street. He says okay then hangs up, it gets to 10 no call or anything so I call the office and talk to Dezoray, which was no help, she said it's my fault cause I didn't have it but it's like he's not even here yet??? Apparently they canceled my order without my authorization so I have to talk to the manager, Cheryl, who was really nice at first she helped me out and scheduled another today same time. Wake up at 8am still no call by 9:30 so I call the place and they say he's been calling (no he hasn't been) so I just ask kindly when will he be here, put me on hold and say he's on his way he's in traffic. 25 min go by with no call or anything they said he's in traffic so I ask if he can call me when he's atleast 30 min away or something so I know he's coming she said yes they are supposed to. Not even 5 min later he arrives without calling and tries to blame me . So he takes off again. Really poor customer service and really unreliable. Never ever going here again and letting everyone know how crappy the service and work here is done.
Guy said theres a hundred pound limit. Per the state of California. Since when? They didnt even take what was under 100 lbs had to dump everything back in the truck and to top it off he walked off to go get food from some guy who walked in the lot took his sweet time chatting it up worst place ever not worth it keep your distance from this place the service sucks. Going back to the one that i usually go to tried this one out just cause it was closer to my house.
The Guy at the scale was the only nice one there..

I jumped on the scale and it said I was 180 lbs,, I felt flattered,, but I am 195 lbs!!!!!
The scale is off by 15 lbs... That's a lot when you factor in thousands of visitors a year,,it adds up to $$$$$$ for them, and negative for consumers..
