It didn't smell bad which was a great surprise, and I learned some things about recycling

Very convenient and sanitary, very well organized and they pay very well for your recycling.

Open but doesn’t take electronics on the weekend, made a special trip just for one item, try to do the right thing, staff was really rude instead of trying to help. I’ve had much better experiences on weekdays, however. They will also pay a small amount for used motor oil.

Words literally can not describe the greatness of this place and the staff. God bless you all.

I came here to recycle clean cardboard with foam (from the boxes). Foam is not accepted, picky, picky. I suppose I just fill my garbage cans at home with the foam and it becomes part of the landfill. This is not a real recycling center. I could have saved gas (carbon footprint) and time by coming here to do my "good deed". Not anymore.

I was trying to sell my aluminum and plastic bottles, usually I do on Sun Valley location, found this clean place the attendant very helpful. friendly my new recycle place.

Came to this location today I waiti recycle some aluminum cans a gentleman comes over and looks at me very strangely like he's wondering why I'm " hanging around" so I told him I waiti recycle some aluminum cans then he proceeded to tell me that you don't open till 8 am I told him I was early and he asked " have you been here before"? I felt like he was investigating me for some reason or another and I do not appreciate that at all especially coming from a government employee

No longer take e-waste on weekends, contrary to all posted signs. They also DO NOT take any compost. They do "compost training" via some signage, but their solution is to put it in your yard. Workers do not know where you should take it. Still searching for somewhere now.

BEE ALLERGY? DO NOT GO. Or wear protective gear if you do. SO many bees there and currently in urgent care because of a bad sting. ow. The staff is nice and I’ve never been shorted on the cash. Just wanted to post the thing about bees as a fair warning.

This place is great; clean, well organized, courteous and they even take mattresses! Very impressed with it.

I normally Love this place. In fact I drive out of my way to do my recycling here. BUT it infuriates me that when I arrive, it’s CLOSED when online it says open! Aaaaahhhh!!! I just drove 30 minutes out of way for no reason!

Normally I love this place BUT! today it said OPEN until 5pm, Due to COVID it has always said closed and today it said open, I overloaded my truck and when I got there it was closed... Please change your hours back to closed until further notice...

Just went there and it has signs showing Closed even though online says open. Called and got voicemail confirming it is still closed.

I am a recent transplant from San Diego and I must say that I am very impressed with the city of Burbanks initiative and proactivity in waste management and recycling. I recently attended a free 2 hour class about composting and household efficiency. I found it to be pleasantly informative, relevant, and valuable.....and the best part is you get a free awesome Darth Vader-looking earth machine composter! In an impacted urban environment, efficient waste management is imperative and if everyone would be a bit more conscious of their waste and debris, it would translate to cleaner natural soil, healthier trees and gardens, improved water percolation, and a vastly improved air quality.... If you are interested in learning about eco-conscious living, the recycling center offers a variety of free classes about composting, DIY projects, and fixit clinics to help people lead a happier, healthier more efficient lives.....

I had few instances were they shortcounted me on bottles of exactly 3 each time. and I said nothing. However, today the 4th time i counted me 4 short because it has gone too far. They also short you on bottles or cans 24 ounces on cans which is greater than or equal to but give lesser values. Also, the attendant became rude when I questioned him and used profanity .I told the cashier they are cheating people in back and bad behavior and she did nothing. So will report to weights in measures about this as this cheating with me no telling how long this has been going on. They started out good to bad from good to bad in 1 year beware for you go here!

They check for ID if dropping of electronic items. Also little bulky items are not accepted. Overall a good option if you want to drop oil paper glass metal electronic items for free. No other city have an option like this.

Really an amazing place and a tough industry to stay current with. We all want to do out part to clean up our world but reusing stuff is way better than recycling it. If you must recycle, this is a very dedicated place for Burbank residents. They sort mixed up items collected streetside but if you can bring your items and put them in the sorting bins yourself, it's better. Do your part and bring cardboard, glass, metals and plastic #1. Other stuff...not so much. Not all plastics are actually plastic - clear food containers are actually styrophome.

I could not be MORE pleased with a recycling center on a first visit. Easy parking, lots of bins to separate my plastic, cans & bottles. The staff was incredibly friendly (guy who processed my recycling & the cashier were funny and warm). There were only 2 people in line in front of me and eventually 1 behind me - so not very crowded for a Friday around noon. I left with a smile which is a first for a recycling trip.

Very friendly. For Burbank residents. They take and dispose of ewaste and other materials you do not want to go into landfill. Easy to drive in and out. Helpful staff. Conveniently located off 5 fwy.

Great, nice knowing that nasty products like paint, motor oil etc... are getting properly disposed

Burbank Recycle Center is by far the best place to go for recycling, even if you are not a resident of Burbank. They open early at 8:00 a.m., have helpful staff, and there is never a wait. They accept all types of materials for recycling, not just plastic, aluminium cans and bottles with California redemption value.

Very easy to get to. Right off the freeway. Usually not too busy and the staff is very helpful. I have recycling centers closer to me, but I choose to go here instead

Great for cardboard, etc, but doesn't accept Styrofoam. WTF? In this day and age of recyclable Styrofoam, that's unacceptable. I've never been to a recycle center in other states where it isn't accepted.
