Avoid Cal Auto
They lost the hardware for the top, they cut original factory wiring for the dome light, the tailgate was installed with hinges backwards and missing torsion bars and the paint is cracking, the hood paint is flaking off, the doors are misaligned, and they catch on the striker. The headlights did not work turns out they pinched the wiring harness between the front fender and core support. And the paint is full orange peel.
Unfortunately, Maria runs the place poorly and belittles the owner Marco, as an owner when you see your manager escalating and screaming back and forth with a customer you should step in and try to figure out a solution but instead you tucked your head in. Makes sense why Maria was making fun of your limp in front of the other employees.
I ignored the red flags, dirty bays, shop manager walking around in sandals, parts misplace (I found some of my parts inside other cars)
Cal Auto Restoration and Collision shop is so amazing. They are kind and informative! They helped me out so much when I thought I had to get a whole new bummer. They were able to fix the problem without replacing the bummer. Also they have reasonable paint job prices.
Cal Auto helped me repair my rear bumper after I was involved in a fender bender. Maria was super awesome and helpful and did all the insurance work for me at no extra cost. Cal auto even replaced some old fuses that went out for free. She assured me everything was going to be fine and she didn’t lie. Rear bumper came out perfect even with blending new paint with older paint. Super fast work as well. Shoutout to Maria and her team, will recommend to everyone.
I was looking for a place to repair my car's bumper and right turn signal and stumbled across them while getting estimates. I was given fair and honest prices. Furthermore, they were fast and efficient to fix my car. But what really impressed me was their customer service. Maria made sure that I was accomodated while I was awaiting repairs. AVOID THIS SHOP!!! I was quoted 3000$ From this body shop for a full paint job and work, Never received any paperwork or invoice. On top of this shop never finished putting all the screws back together and there was a lot of paint chips all over the truck and dripping paint.once i told them about said it needed to be wet sanded and buffed in order to remove that from paint and was told it was extra 750$ to do it.
I was told a lot of days truck was going to be ready and day came was told “next week”. I was finally told a day to pick it up then guy never showed up and had to get the truck myself from the “owner”. If you do get work from them DO NOT PAY until work is fully completed
Really nice and great man! Unfortunately I got into a car accident and I did what anyone would do, look for a car shop that can fix my car and make it look like new. This is the shop to go to! The shop owner said he would get it done as soon as possible because school was starting and I still had work and my car was my only means of transportation. He got it done in 2 weeks, and did such a great job with the side front bumper where the crash happened. My car looks new! As of if I had never gotten into an accident in the first place. I highly recommend you to come here!
Hello! I brought my sedan into Cal Auto Restoration after a blown tire went under my car on the freeway and shredded the right side of my front bumper and dislodged the heat sheet underneath. Marco worked with me to order a new bumper, paint match, and replace it. They were able to replace the bumper all in one day (it took less than two hours) so I didn't have to get a rental. They reattached the heat sheet and touched up a scratch I had on the back bumper for free! I could not be happier, the bumper looks amazing and completely new! I definitely recommend going to Cal Auto Restoration for any work you might need done on your car. Thank you so much!
I just got my white dodge charger back, yesterday on the 30th of december. Right in time for the new year. not only did they fix it to look like new, but they also went out their way to color match it on parts the car was a bit off in color. Aside from that the car also got a full wax upon receiving it. Definitely worth it. Thanks again Marco and everyone at Cal Auto.

RATING = 10 stars if they had them! I worked with Marco. From the moment I called in to explain my situation he understood the urgency, needs I had, and was very attentive. I took my 1998 Mercury Mountaineer in for inspection in which he greeted me with a respectful handshake and introduction. The part I needed I had not been able to find in 7 months as my car is now considered "unique" and they don't make specific parts anymore without being SUPER expensive, he found one within a day! After telling him to get the part he had it there within a few days, painted and ready to put on my car. I am extremely pleased with the customer service, performance, pricing, and execution! Would HIGHLY recommend to anyone looking for a reputable place.

Best customer service. Very fast. I got hit by a man that fled on a private lot so my insurance didn't want to work with me. Pretty much a hit and run that left my passenger side so bad that my door didn't open. I came here for the first time and I was impressed! The service was great and they genuinely take really good care of your vehicle. I left my Mazda rx-8 with them and Marco was the guy helping me out through the whole process. He made sure to let me know every little thing they did to my car and gave me updates every single time they did something new! Really loved his service! I took my car to these guys (Marcos and Juan) because another shop didn't finish the bodywork and painting on my car. They did a great job and strived for perfection. The price was reasonable and I feel pleased with the work they did. Would definitely go back.
