I came to J&D on a recommendation from a mechanic friend.
After reading reviews on line, I decided to have them change my rear seal on my C5 which was something I didn't have time to tackle myself. They did a great job and did a little extra work and still matched the great price that Noe originally quoted me. My wife and I had a great talk with Frank after the service and I appreciate that they're honest and straightforward. I highly recommend J & D! I only wish they were closer to OC.

. .i had a 1980 corvette frame shipped from JD corvette to a Washington. Shipping address close to canada
They shipped this frame on behalf of Michael Montrief ..a friend of the owner ofJD corvette..
. JD Corvette did the packaging to get this 1980 Corvette frame ready for shipment..
after making a few phone calls to the owner of JD Corvette .. he could have been nice enough to advise me that this frame has had damage .
and that it was clearly visible of welded repairs and visible damage to this Frame
...HE DIDNT SAY A WORD
..but he did tell me he did not want to get involved.. should have realized at that point that there was trouble with this Frame.
JD Corvette owner WANTED 1200.00 US .. then I was threatened by the owner of JD Corvette insisting that I pay for the shipping of the frame immediately
,or it was going to be thrown the frame out in there yard.
First I was told the shipping was 800 then it went up to 1000 and then it went up to 1200..
I'm still trying to figure out why it cost me $2,400 canadin to have this Frame fixed. And it cost me $1,200 us to have it shipped... which came out the $1,649 Canadian... I believe there's no honesty and integrity in some people even if they're not selling the product. Clearly spending that much time Packaging that frame could have mentioned something to me on the phone.. about visible damage.

Bumper fit horribly with fenders/headlights. Had to trim/sand back fenders in order to open/close doors as well. Never responded to messages on eBay. They sent out a notice to current orders today stating their mold was defective (how did they just find out their own mold is being worked on) and current orders were being held. Given they didn’t know their mold was defective, how many defective bumpers went out before they were notified?

First off it wasn't my experience.It was my best friend's experience. My Friend took his eighty six corvette To J and D and was there for quite sometime only to get it back with the check engine light on. He took it there not running for whatever reason but didn't have a check engine light. Kinda strange right? Well $2500 US dollars later and 2months later he gets his car back check engine light on and not running like it should with of course $2500 US dollars being shelled out! Come on J and D get your act together already! Your establishment has been around for how many years? I know you have been around since the days of Darrel & Larry's Autodynamics in Downey... Needless to say your to old to be turning out work like what you did for my best friend! What a way to keep up a reputation! And to think I gave my best friend the recommendation... keep stomping those landings guys!
All I had done here was an oil change. For that they were quick, efficient, and inexpensive. I'm dinging them one star because they have no customer amenities, and they primarily focus on older Corvettes, which I do not have. They focus on C1 through C3 models. Anything newer than those and the pickin's are pretty slim.
Hi corvette owners! I just wanna share with you my experience with my C6 corvette. normally I bring my car to Penske Chevrolet in Cerritos for regular maintenance of my car but one incident happened to my car; the technician didn’t properly install my oil filter so while I’m driving, I’m losing oil and just found out when I parked my car in my garage and I see the oil leak so I won’t go back again to Penske anymore. Next I got a check engine showing on my dashboard I bring my car to George Chevrolet in bellflower so they diagnosed my car and they kept it for two weeks, I picked up my car after then the check engine showed up again the same day so I bring it back to George Chevrolet. They said I had multiple misfires so they kept my car again for another two weeks, I spent money and time to fixed my car but they’re just telling me a lot things needed to be done. I decided to leave them, get my car and bring it home. I do my research where I can find the right mechanic and then I see JD corvette, I called them to diagnose my car. They can pinpoint exactly what happened to my car and the advisor name Frank Garcia gave me appointment to bring my car to diagnose, then they fixed my car now I’m driving my car like a brand new and I’m happy. If you guys have problems about your corvette this is the right place to fix your car I’m highly recommend and look for Frank Garcia have a wonderful day guys…
Called, got to talk to Jaime who called me back after he found the cd changer I needed. Picked it up a week later and enjoyed talking to him. He made me a deal on the changer after plugging it in and am very happy with the experience.

I own a 1987 corvette and anyone who does knows finding parts and anyone who can work on them is becoming scarse, that's why I am so glad I was referred to this group of "Corvette Artisans", two other companies threw their hands up in the air and said "junk it!" No corvette owner wants to hear those two words!! We understand to us owning a "CORVETTE" any model isn't just owning a car it's owning a way of life, a culture that means something to us,, well this group was professional, explained each process step by step and delivered what they promised, my baby lives again and the drive home was Nervana!!

Go to spot for all corvette parts ! I came in and wasn’t sure which rod I needed for my 69 corvette door so the owner took me back and helped me figure out which ones I needed. Whenever they don’t have something in stock they’re usually able to get it in within the week. Everyone here is extremely helpful and courteous! Definitely would recommend to anyone who needs servicing or parts for their vette
I recently had my 2000 C5 Convertible significantly serviced by J&D. They changed all the belts and hoses, water pump, new radiator, harmonic balancer, new clutch, brakes, oil pressure switch, A\C compressor, etc. etc. I cannot speak highly enough of Noe and his team. They did an EXCELLENT job! They identified a couple of bushings and bearings that were approaching their end of life, and since they already had the car torn apart, the additional cost was very minimal, and will save me money down the road. After the work was complete, I took the car on a 4000 mile road trip. I spent days in the deserts of Arizona and New Mexico with temps up to 115 degrees, then to Texas where the speed limit was for reference only – the car performed flawlessly. Thank you J&D Corvette for allowing me to take a 21 year old corvette on an incredible trip! You guys did an AMAZING job!!!
I asked J and D Corvette to complete an oil pressure sensor install that I started. I made an appointment because they are currently very busy.
On the day of my appointment, Noe wrote up the order and was very knowledgeable, professional and courteous. The repair was completed quickly and at a reasonable cost.
All the staff were friendly and seemed sincerely interested in giving me good service. Besides Noe, I also dealt with Frank and Tony. This was the first time I used J and D to work on my car. I only wish I had taken my Vette to them to do the entire installation.
Wonderful experience I needed new seat cushion tried to use the old ones but they didn't do a good job with new seat covers so I ordered them and they got to me within just a couple days very courteous and helpful
Overcharged on product and service. I brought in my 1990 Corvette to change the upper and lower radiator hoses. I figured no big deal, right? But when I got the bill after the repair, Frank charged me excessive labor and product. I understand that the lower radiator hose takes a bit more work because you have to remove the belt tensioner (consisting of a single bolt) to get to the lower hose but to a good mechanic, that should not be a big deal. Further, I paid $30 for the coolant! And I still had to add more coolant the following day and “burp” the air pockets out the system. The worse part, let me repeat….. the WORSE PART, was that Frank tried to BS his way in justifying the charge….. saying that the mechanic had to remove this and remove that and that is what the service manual called for. And no, a free T-shirt will not make up for it. What an insult! Dude…. I’m a guy. After owning my C4 for 30 years and coming to J&D for nearly 20 years, I was not happy with the BS. In fact, lately the pricing over my last few repair visits seem high. I understand that the hourly rate has gone up and I’m cool with that, especially for a small business I’d like to support. But this time, Frank just missed the mark on product, service and customer relationship. I’m done. I drove far just to get to J&D all these years. But it’s time to do some price shopping…… and that’s my point. Shop around. Also, the owner/managers are not the mechanics; I do think that the mechanics are sound and fair.
I needed a seat track / motor assembly for a 1993 Corvette. The part was in stock at a reasonable price. I got it the next day and it worked great. The cusomer service was friendly and competent. Great source for Corvette parts.
This place is Awesome! They are the best at what they do when it comes to working on Corvettes! I had a rear bearing replaced on my 75 corvette stingray and they also replaced strut rods and bushing's! I won't go anywhere else when it comes to my baby! Noah is the man that makes it happen!
