Mediocre customer services, I was hyper analyzed upon walked in & giving the most dual, un I'm fromative customer service. Los Angeles is a melting pot, when folks of other back grounds come spend money in your store, you guys gotta work on taking captive of the prejudice thoughts that come through your minds.
I went when the power was not working on the entire block I got some motor mounts and this guy really pulled out a book bigger than a dictionary and made 100% sure I got the right parts. That was a great experience. I hate getting the wrong parts and wasting my time driving back after I’m all dirty from working on the car.
Paid for an oil filter yesterday as for a "special order". Today came for an order and didn't get anythink without a pink slip. That's okay, but they told me that there is no special order needed and tried to sell me another filter because they have them in stock and I don't need to make any special order. I have to go to AutoZone and buy another filter there. This is not the first time that they trying to pushe their special orders on me. Last time they wanted to sell me an item five times more that the internet price through a "spacial order". I would not recommend this place to anyone. Update: They didn't return money for the order and told me that I can use the filter next time and they don't return money for special orders. When I told that they have item in the stock, the employee didn't care. The employee was rude and tried to provoke conflict. One of the worst customer services I ever encountered.
This place is a hit or miss every time I call them for a part they never have what I need even though I do have a domestic car website is super hard to navigate customer services subpar for sure they say if they don't have the part they'll get it for you which rarely happens they're always worth taking a look though they might have what you need
Employee Austin was extremely Rude. It was 9:30 am he already had a bad attitude. It's not right just because you have decent prices you feel like you can treat your customers like crap, even raise your voice. I've been coming here for over 10 years. I'm disappointed.
The service is really bad I bought a battery for the car 2 months ago i took my to auto shop and they told me that battery doesn’t retain battery the battery doesn’t work and they didn’t wanna exchange it supposedly the have guarantee for 30 months
I order some parts and they give to someone also when I ask they said they don't have it look to me they don't care because the manger say he can't return mi money or order for an extra day he don't care about mi costumer mi time and mi gas monkey I will ever make Business with this awful place ism not recommend this place at all very disgusting people and rude
Great Invetory, if they dont have it you can always place an order. Prices are decent. But their customer service is AWFUL and ARROGANT ATTITUDE TO CUSTOMERS AND EVEN AMONG THEMSELVES.
One thing I can say about Clark's Auto that get the job done , I needed a part that all other stores was telling me to wait 2 or 3 days walked into Clark's Auto order Took about 2 or 3 hours but I got my order the same day. Now my car is rolling like it's supposed to. Thank you Clark's Auto Keep up the good work. The staff are amazing I will be back.
DO NOT CALL FOR PRICING OF PARTS! THEY TELL YOU A GOOD PRICE AND ONCE YOU GET HERE ITS THE SAME PRICE EVERYWHERE ELSE!! BS! I DROVE 14MILES JUST TO PAY FOR A CRANKSHAFT SENSOR I COULD OF BOUGHT 1MILE AWAY FROM MY HOUSE!! IM OUTRAGE! THATS FALSE ADVERTISEMENT!! VERY DISAPPOINTED! IF YOUR LOCAL I GUESS THIS WOULD BE THE STORE TO GO TO BUT FOR OUTTOWNERS ITS NOT WORTH IT!!!
These guys are rude and arrogant. Terrible customer service. I've been here several times, and it's always the same... rude people, everyone. I wish the owners would educate these employees.
Been coming here for years. They are always super busy and usually do good. There has been times where my orders got messed up and I had to figure out my transportation to work for the next day or 2.
worst place to buy anything they have 20 guys or more and could never stay on the phone all.they do answer and put.u on hold this place sucks dont go get anything from them

The parts were special order same day delivery, everywhere else would take at least a day or two. Very convenient and affordable prices also. Overall highly recommended.
The ownership here are some of the rudest and most unfriendly people I’ve ever encountered in this country or abroad. Hard to believe this is a family owned business - usually these types of businesses are warm and hospitable. All the comments about horrible customer service don’t surprise me at all. With so many other places to purchase parts from in Long Beach, I would never spend a dime here. Truly horrid and repulsive in every way and indicative of miserable people
Good to buy parts, great deals. But there communication is bad. I ordered a part and the counter guy said he would call me when it came in and he never did. Then when I went to pick it up the parts girl said they never call. 3 stars just because the deals are good.
I was looking for a part, so i called the store to get some info, they were rude and won't let me talk and put me on hold and just hang up on me. Unprofessional customer service.
My gf gave me the wrong plate number for her car so I ended up purchasing the wrong brake pads. The boss Joe exchanged them full of lubricant for the correct ones. We went back and forth on whos fualt it was that I was sold brakes for a whole different vehicle, but all in all I am a satisfied customer. I have been going to clarks for many years eventhough it's a 30 minute driver from home. Beats any others auto parts store in LA if you ask me. Good prices! Quality parts! Outstanding customer service! Glad I walked right back into the store to speak to Joe after I was told I couldn't get an exchange by the parts specialist.
I have been a client for almost 15 years and I have never had a problem with their service. If they don’t have a part available, they pre order your part and have it ready by the next day. They have quality parts. The manager Soto is a good person who is there to help customers. He pays attention to customers needs. Good place! Good prices! Thanks Clarks Auto Parts!

Clarks is a family owned business that gets very busy at various different times. Patience is a must because they have various items at a good price which gets a line of people waiting for service. Having this in mind, I usually have front counter Soto help me out. He takes good care of me and answers my questions and if I'm lucky he'll crack a joke at my expense. It doesn't bother me, it's part of the good customer service experience. These guys at the counter try to help everyone out quickly to move the line. So it doesn't hurt to be nice to them, they're ordering YOUR parts. Please, remember that.

Today I'm giving this place 2 stars. I have been coming here for years and never had bad service until today. I bought some back brake pads for my tahoe 03. Back in September, I bought the front ones, and to void coming back, I bought the back pads. Once I approach the clark, he seems to be bother and upset. I didn't pay no mind. All I was trying to do was figure out why my back pads didn't fit. The back brake caliper was placing uncorrectly. I was disappointed that the clark wasn't knowledgeable and helpful.
Customer service is a joke. Not professional individuals DO NOT buy from this mom and pop shop. They don’t respect their warranties and lie upon buying products TO MAKE BUSINESS! Would give O stars if possible. Held on to my receipt on file since 2018; 2025 now and won’t respect warranty. Manager in charge 1/28/2025 says there’s no need for receipts to have warranty policy on them. With that being said they only exchange what they want and is convenient for them to change.
