Kenny's Towing is contracted with L.A. County Sheriff's Department. My car had registration that was 6 months expired and it ended up at Kenny's. It was there for 2 days before I could get it registered and have it released. The folks at Kenny's took care of my car during the tow and while it was in their possession. No damage to the car, and no one broke into it. This is a legit and professional company. Thank you for taking care of my car.

I had an emergency at the freeway. The high patrol called them. Worst experience ever. They are rude and overcharge.
I took my car in to have some minor body work/painting done. From the estimate process to having the work done was all efficient and professional. My car was ready in the time frame that I was promised. The paint job was “Marvelous!” I would definitely choose Kenny’s Auto Body if any future repairs are needed!
Terrible Tow Company. They towed my car 6/28/2024 I called the day after and the female dispatcher who took the car told me that they did not have the car or a yard to keep it at and that Paramount Police Station had it. Mind you I had already called paramount police station the same day I noticed it was gone because I assumed it was stolen. They denied having it and a month later they send me a notice to sell when they never sent me any proof of them having the said vehicle no matter how many time I asked they kept denying having the vehicle saying that the police had it when I went to several police stations looking for it. Was never given any document saying they have it until a month later with racked up bill. Ask to speak with supervisor and I get the rudest person Ress never connected me to supervisor or even claimed to being one. Just telling me to be shut up and that I keep going on and on about the same thing, we’ll of course because he doesn’t get the point that they are negligent and at fault for denying having the vehicle with my belongings inside and personal documents. Just looking for a quick buck I had my household stuff in the car since I was moving and had the car moved to my new residence for a day that it was on the street. Have been trying to get my car back for a month now with no answers from anyone at this place even when I left them my new address and phone number to call they still mailed it to my previous address from a year ago. Totally incompetent and rude no customer service at all. Sold the vehicle without my permission even after filing the opposition just a bunch of thief’s.
Terrible bussiness, terrible attitudes and they in the bussiness with bad intentions. It's unfortunate for everyone who has to deal with these people. If u read this then u must be dealing with what we all dealt with. Hope ur day gets better. If u have a choice I would definitely go elsewhere.
They tow my car this week due to a ticket. The problem is the person that opened the car damage my car when he pry on the wrong spot thinking it was the door jam when it does not have one.
The african american driver with Intials G.B stole my belongings that were left in his tow truck. He also tried to give me a hard time when towing. He is scum, also took advantage of situation to write up whatever he wanted on towing charge and charged me a lot more. One of the worst towing experiences. He needs to be fired and thrown in jail.
Second time I’ve used them. Quick and easy estimate on repairs to my car, fast and efficient work. Staff was friendly, would go back for future repairs.
They’re in cahoots with the police of Cerritos. Got into an accident and the conversation went something like this:
“Do you take triple A?”
“No.”
“Can you tow it to our house?”
“No.”
“What happens after you tow it?”
“We give you 5 days free to pick it up. After that, we start charging for the time that we’ve held it.”
*proceeds to charge for towing and holding*
Had me by the balls and wouldn’t let go until they legally couldn’t anymore. The lies and lack of empathy made an already tough situation worse. I wouldn’t have even bothered writing this if they had just been upfront about what they charge.
Didn’t deal too much with the autobody portion but they seemed kind when we had questions and nobody was in the office (during their office hours). They had closed early that day just to charge us one extra day of holding.
Pricing for a tow was ridiculous!!
I'm adding to this review because, I am a local business owner in the City of Bellflower. I initially called Kenny's Tow because we use them to tow when we have illegal parking at our place of business... but looking at all the reviews, we will find other means to not use their services anymore.
Great service! After I was sideswiped by a car, this company was on the scene in a timely manner to have our car towed safely to their yard. I was on my way in an ambulance to the emergency room during the whole process which unfortunately I do not remember because of very bad concussion from the crash. My car was turned upside while I was pulled out my car I was trapped in by the driver side window with the assistance of the EMT Team. Thank you everyone for helping save my life.
Purchased a van out of state, van got towed by police in lakewood,, with pink slip in glove box, they wouldn't let me pay to get the van out of tow yard without registration, which I couldn't get because they wouldn't give me my pink slip out of the glove box to register it with dmv... good luck auctioning off the van without the key to the locking gas cap! The police told me I could retrieve my property from the van, including the pink slip.

The people at this company are extremely rude. I can understand when you’re dealing with belligerent customers why you’d have an attitude, but the fact that I calmly asked if I could come remove some personal belongings and they responded with almost yelling at me to come was just uncalled for. Also when I got there they sent me off to their second lot and said some will meet you there, assuming within a few minutes. I called and with an attitude they said whenever the next driver is available they’ll meet you. The guy on the phone should not be answering phones if he has no customer service experience.
First of all why didn’t you mention that I’d be waiting for a driver? Second why are you frustrated with me when I told you ahead of time that I’d be coming. I mean I drove 45 min to get here and now you’re making me wait longer?
So 6 years ago, this company STOLE my van from in front of my own house. I never got the van back because of the costs, and they are STILL HARASSING ME FOR MONEY 6 YEARS LATER!
They are negatively affecting my credit going after me with collections departments for over $1000, you guys STOLE MY VAN AND SOLD IT! And now you want me to pay you for doing that?
Scam artists taking advantage of low income folks who can't afford their high tow and storage fees, sell their vehicles and still harass them trying to milk every $ they can.
My car was stolen and Lakewood sherriffs failed to contact me so they towed it and were trying to charge me towing and storage fees for three day even though it was towed on a Saturday and I showed on Monday. I ended up giving up the car since it wasn't worth the 1k they were charging.
If there was a Zero star rating it would be too high.Had our car damaged during pick up and were not given the courtesy by them to come inspect.Had to have towed by AAA
as the undercarriage was badly scraped.Called the next day and some guy called Russ was very obnoxious when asked for the contact person to send a reimbursement request.

I would rate them 0 stars if it was an option. They are very rude one employee kept harassing me and my family. Asking if the car was really ours. Obviously identification needs to be confirmed so why would we pick up a car that's not ours. This company needs to be reported to the Better Business Bureau. Overall all employees were RUDE even when spoken to in a kind manner. CHECK your receipt they are dating back when the vehicle actually arrived to charge for an extra day. We were there when our vehicle entered their gates of their tow yard and they dated it the day before for extra fee. All these 5 star reviews are definitely FAKE.
Although we ended up not needing a tow (thank goodness!) I feel like I have to give them the 5 stars for the professionalism I received over the phone when I called the office, and by Les (the tow driver who called me back) I think the price estimate Les gave me was very good (muuuch less than any other towing company I previously called). Thank you gentlemen. I am definitely keeping Kenny's Towing in mind, should I ever need the service (would gladly recommend too)!

My bumper is hanging, the plastic cover on the bottom of the car is wripped out; and they said I've been driving like that! Terrible people.
Kenny's Towing is the best priced towing service around. They took care of my car and the dispatcher and driver were very helpful. Would recommend them to anyone who needs towing services. A friend of mine also had her car towed from an accident and ended up having it repaired there and it came out better than new! The body shop is small but also why they can give your car the attention it needs for it to be done right. Love this place!

These guys a awful, and unprofessional. I can't understand how they have such little ratings by so many customers and they are still in business. What's even more interesting is how they only have 1 star reviews or 5 stars. To some people they might be incredibly awful or perfect. In my opinion I think the good reviews are FAKE. Some users has never written reviews for any other business. Just saying you can save yourself the hassle!
Had my car illegally towed for evidence for a crime that was not committed and which they had no search warrent. Lakewood Shrieff said I would get my vehicle back after the holiday. Monday comes around and Officer called me and said I would get my charged one day $32 storage fee which is already bogus. Asked for my car and the lady at the front desk said," Can I have a VIN or license plate number." I replied I don't have it memorized, but it is the only black crown victoria you have in the lot. She replied," How do I know it's yours?" with a smerky comeback. She was rude the entire time and unprofessional. She hands me the bill and says $540. I go wait a minute it was hear for a couple hours the Police Officer had it towed and removed the evidence from the vehicle. She said it's been her all week. I said he took it to dust for prints and ended up letting it sit that long on purpose to let the towing company sit there and run up a nice bill. Had the lady call and speak to the officer. She came back over rudely and said it's $196 we are just charging you. It's $196 to tow it 8 miles. So the Lakewood Shrieff had it towed illegally to swipe it for evidence and I get charged for them having it towed when I could have drove it or had AAA or my Farmers Insurance tow it for free? Basically don't take you car here, terrible service, terrible repair (friend had car fixed here), people are rude, and have the biggest scam for them to make money off you and charge ridiculous amount of money. I urge you never to go here ever!
Kenny's is amazing. Took my Mercedes for body work after an accident. It was repaired and looked brand new. The staff is very knowledgable & helpful. I would take my car there again and recommend Kenny's to friends.
I promised myself to never create a Google+ profile, but today I'm breaking this promise so I can write this review, and let everyone know to avoid this place.
Never deal with these people. I was helped by Susan and the tow truck driver, and both were very rude to me. They damaged my car, and not only denied it, but called me, the customer, a liar and accused me of making false accusations which "insulted" their driver who had been with them for 20 years. I then asked for his name which they refused to give.
My car is a project, track-purpose car, and I have been using countless different towing companies to tow this car around to places. This one is by far the worst one of them all, especially in terms of customer service.
What is even bigger of a shame is that the law doesn't provide anything other than small claims court for people in my situation, and in most cases, small claims court comes out to be a very big waste of time and money.
I can always count on this company to take great care of me, my associates and our Fire Museum. Everyone is friendly, dedicated and professional. If you want the job done right call Kenny's Auto Service.
