Customer service at this shop is honest, detailed and simply amazing.
I promised to write this review because Speedway more than earned it.
I drive by this shop every single day to and from work and I've never known who they are or what they do. I haven't had auto work done at too many places in this town since I haven't lived here for very much of my adult life and I've always either gone to shops that were on the busy main streets or were suggested by coworkers and friends.
I didn't know this shop even existed until Daniel Koch reached out through a Facebook post I made when looking for help when my engine started to break a couple of weeks ago after work. I reached back out to Daniel and in our conversation he assured me his shop could handle the job I needed done from start to finish including towing the car, sourcing a used replacement engine and removal and replacement.
I've never needed an engine replacement before but I knew I was in for a costly repair. Que Ser a, ser a...such is life. Daniel did his best to ease the pain while still giving stellar customer service. He called frequently to address any issues no matter how small or how large that had anything to do with the fix. I requested some extra work as well like a brake replacement and an extra leak test. I wanted to be sure my fix would last. He was honest about every issue and would tell me if he felt it was urgent or not always giving me a choice before he took any action or ordered any parts. He was always willing to take pictures or to show me in person so I could verify what he was saying but I trusted him through and through.
When all was said and done he had the car for less than a week. When I went to pick up the car he had restored my headlights at no cost (Something I really needed done) he had the car thoroughly cleaned, the a/c was recharged (an added service it needed and we discussed) and he was sitting in the driveway ready with the vehicle for me to test drive when I got there.
He was remarkably fair on labor costs and truly honest to his every word. It's unfortunate this happened and unfortunate I needed to bear the cost of these repairs but Daniel made this experience as pleasant as he possible could and I appreciate him so much for that.
I will definitely return here for service. Fantastic experience.
This has been the best experience I’ve ever had with a wrecking yard in 10 years of being in the automotive business. Joe went above and beyond for me on a $100 order. Found my part which wasn’t easy, arranged shipping, followed up every step of the way with a phone call and email(rarely happens in this business especially on small orders), and saved me a lot of time and money. Joe, thank you for the excellent customer service and your hard work.
As I said before, everybody there is so helpful. For a guy that doesn't understand cars as well as I should I guess. They don't treat me there's someone that has no knowledge. Very polite always able to explain why I need this or that and they take the time to make me feel comfortable. Spectrum Business they make me feel as though I can trust them and as I said always helpful. Don't know what I would do without their services. The way things are nowadays and the prices of things I am so glad to have them around always a fair price and they stand behind everything they do and sell.
Excellent customer service very convenient scrap metal recycling yard, just pull on the scale, wait for the announcer and pull up to the first available employee for directions. unload your vehicle weigh it again and get paid
I ordered a fuel door for my Land Cruiser through Tom at Sierra. He was very transparent and sent me plenty of photos of the part before I put the money down and had it shipped across the country. When I received the part, it was exactly as he described and packaged beautifully. I wouldn’t think twice about ordering from these guys again! Great service and fair prices.

We became stuck out in the desert on a dirt road and Michael was so wonderful! He showed up earlier than the ETA and was incredibly patient, kind, and knowledgeable. They lied about what was needed to fix my car, went to Teresa Auto Body, and found out the truth the alignment was out in my car .... Sierra Auto Body and T & T Auto Repair both are working together with cheating customers... Sierra Auto Body told me that a lot of parts were bent on the right side of my car and it would cost $2500,00 to fix it .... took it to Teresa Auto Body and it only cost 99.00 to fix my car....buyer beware about T and T and Sierra Auto Body shops.... I think they are working together to rip off people who come into their shops....
I had decided to buy a vehicle from them. Joe, my original contact there was very knowledgeable as well as friendly. Tom, the owner, went on the test drive with me and shared many helpful tips regarding different aspects of driving this vehicle in today's traffic. Saturday I was stuck in a washout on a trail in Jawbone canyon. Joe and his team came out there, worked there way up the trail, moving rocks as required to get to me and get me out. This was all before he had to be at a wedding. Joe and Sierra truly saved us that day. Thank you and 5 stars is not enough to cover your actions.

My experience with Sierro Auto Recycling has been exemplary. I recently took two vehicles in for engine and body damages and they completed the work in half the times quoted by others. Did I mention their work was half the cost of others as well?
I have been to Sierra Auto Recycling in Ridgecrest twice. Each time they were very friendly, professional, and fast. They replaced my tail light assembly, and fixed my headlight assembly. They saved me a great deal of time and money. I will use this company an much as I can. Their customer service is fantastic.
We called befor going was told they have them got there guy said they have 3 I only need 1. So went down to buy it he questioned me on weather my card was real becouse he keept putting in the local zip code instead of asking what mine was. had a real attitude about him . got a call back at at 456 4 min befor closing to tell me his guy broke all 3 of them removing them didn't offer to replace just gonna refund now I look on my bank and I have 2 charges no refund. Only time will tell but after my first experience here don't think I will ever go back
Fast friendly service. I had a leaky power-steering box on my primary car so they fast-shipped the part from LA because they didn't have the right part on hand. The part was installed as soon as it arrived and they went a step above and pressure washed the engine. I will use their services again when I need repairs.
I was in a real bind after my son’s accident and not from the area. These guys found the part I needed for my Jeep and gave me the support I needed to make sure I got home safely.

Louis was very helpful in getting everything done in a cost effective way, saving me from some inconvenience at the same time. The rest of the staff were also pleasant, which I found soothing in a stressful situation.
I've purchased A LOT of parts from this place. I build project cars. Its my hobby. more recently, I purchased a rear axle for my 1954 Chevy. I went to replace the outer seals on it and when I opened the axles rear cover, I noticed someone else had been in there and stripped the retaining bolt for the axle pin. I tried to locate one new and cant. So I called Sierras since they 'guarantee" their parts. I spoke to Joe. I got nothing but excuses. "those always break when we take them out" "I don't have those in this yard, you'll have to call back when someone else is here" and finally, "You'll have to find one on the internet I guess" in the end I got a "Have a nice day" and got hung up on. Joe I spent $250 on this axle I cant use right now. You find the screw. Its your responsibility Mr I guarantee my parts. You hanging up on me shows how much you appreciate my business. Ill go the extra mile to Bakersfield for my parts from now on.
This place damaged my motorcycle and when I called in the guy was really rude and hung up on me. First he told me that they never towed any motorcycle and that when he came back on phone he said that his best guys would not lie to him. I have witness which was the highway patrolmen that called them for me. I have before and after the incident. If I could leave a minus rate then I would. I am taking them to court. It's a lit of money to fix the damage . Don't let these people tow your bike they will damage it.
I needed a couple of specific parts for an Escape hybrid, and Tom was very helpful at getting me the exact parts at a reasonable price. I'd highly recommend them!

Don't even bother calling this company.... I simply called and asked, "If I give you the year, make, model and what is wrong with the vehicle that we would tow in to you for recycling what do you pay?" The man that answered the phone was just plain not the person any business should have dealing with the public, a simple "we don't do business that way," or whatever but instead he was argumentative, rude and just plain disrespectful. Would give it a negative if I could
